The skyline restaurant is located inside the Rydges South Park Adelaide Hotel on level 6. Inside the Adelaide city, not hard to find parking around. Beautiful view while dining. Depending on the season, Sunset can be seen there. If the timing is right, you can enjoy the day and night view while having the same dinner.

We had dinner with my friends. The food was perfectly done, and the staff were friendly. Zoe was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this place. Great view

Visited for the fringe festival Mumbo Italiano show, had a fantastic 3 course meal full of flavour and generous portions. They always impress me here, I've had numerous functions here and it's always great. Beautiful views of city lights at night and hills view during day. Truly a nice experience and lovely staff.

The food was amazing! We had to wait a long time for our mains to be served but it was all worth it after we had the amazing steak and chicken breast! They also messed up our reservation request for a table with a view....hence the 4 stars!

Love this restaurant. Low key fancy. Spectacular views with brilliant steaks. Excellent dining experience without being pretentious. Hot tip- get the duck fat kipfler potatoes. They go well with EVERYTHING!

Last night we went to dinner at the skyline hotel To begin with i seen a few bad reviews but i could not fault the staff and the food at all Our food was amazing Our starters where delishious and well prosented Our main meals where cooked to perfection just how i asked Our desserts where also very tasty Thank you very much to our waiters Victor & Himanshi and one other We will be back thank you for a wonderful night 5 stars !

Beautiful view at sunset, booked a window table facing ocean. However service was lacking and very slow. Consistency also lacking - one steak was cooked well - a true medium but another one on our table was still bleeding in parts. With such slow and lack of service didnt bother with dessert. Would not recommend.

Amazing food, gorgeous view and friendly service. I only came to the restaurant because we were staying at the hotel and it was convenient. Did not expect much to be honest but oh my goodness what a pleasant surprise! The food was glorious! Steak cooked to perfection! I usually don’t order steak at restaurants because my husband makes fantastic steak and I’m invariably disappointed. My son ordered it and I’m so glad he did! fries to die for and the pork cutlet was scrumptious. Dessert was also delicious. Served by the lovely Claire who was so friendly and recommended dishes for us and compliments to the chef Jeff. And then there’s those views! Such an underrated restaurant. Highly recommend!

Great view and the in house room service food from the kitchen was very good. As for the restaurant the prices are high for the excellent view. Expect it to take at least half an hour before the entree arrives. The scallops were battered and tasted like they’d been defrosted.The risotto was mushy and I’m not sure why I was given a steak knife to eat it with. On the bright side the chicken main was very tasty. The vegetable sides although delicious when had on Good Friday for room service, in the restaurant lacked the natural buttery taste from the night before.

Fantastic. Entree dumplings were delicious, and flavoursome. Cutting the steak was like putting your knife through butter with amazing flavours. Yum. Staff were friendly, fast and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We went with a work group for a Christmas in July function, a well priced dinner drinks package (4 course), overall it was a very nice evening, the entertainment was spot on (singer/dance), the food was alternate drop & the steak was tender and cooked perfectly, the service was a little slow & disorganised. Although I understand the 3 hour drinks package deal, by 9.45pm the wait staff became almost invisable as they didn't want to bring any more alcohol out, instead telling everyone at 10.01pm that you could now buy your drinks (the room started to empty very quickly). Then at 10.45 the staff started taking the opened wine bottles from the tables even if you were still drinking. Then at 11.50pm we were forced to leave the restaurant by very aggressive restaurant management, who were very unpleasant to people that were upset at having to abruptly leave. Only 1 lift was working and not very well. Not a great end to what HAD been a pleasant evening!

Dining at Skyline Restaurant was pleasant, The staff and service polite, bubbly and knowledgeable. Food was enjoyable, pork ribs were juicy and a nice amount of stickiness to them, Sirlion cooked well and the relish accompanied well , The prawn dumpings were subtle on flavour but still enjoyable and the salmon cooked well and tasted lovely. View of the sunset over Adelaide was a nice add. Only real negative we found was the lift which was quite noisy throughout the evening.

After reading the advertising, I was disappointed. Food and service was fairly ordinary. There doesn't appear to be a dress code i.e. because it is a restaurant on the top of an apartment hotel, the residents attend as they chose - we had dressed casual but 2 tables away, there was one person dressed in footy shorts, t-shirt and sneakers. No female bar or waiting staff. Only female was the chef, and she didn't have her hair covered.

Not many places you can go to be cooked for by a celebrity TV chef without paying through the nose. The food was excellent whatever we each chose, and the restaurant has great views out towards Adelaide Hills. Try and get a window seat if you can!
