Really lovely ambiance. Tables well set. Wait staff really attentive. Nothing too much trouble. We didn't wait long for drink service. The waiter remembered what we ordered. Food served quickly. All meals deliciously hot and the serves are large. Salads were tasty and crisp. 1 meal was forgotten, but was rectified quickly. Ample leg room under the table, the chairs are easy to sit on. I can't wait to go again.

Venue is excellent. Been there a few times now and the steaks are always 👌 the chimichurri sauce is amazing, used to come in a bottle to the table but I assume covid ruined that for everyone. Was still nice but could have used way more for my steak. Took corkage @ $25per bottle and the tapas starters came out on a nice big platter to share which was nice. Overall everything was fantastic

Located in the heart of Rundle Street this is a very nice steak house. Good atmosphere and very nice and modern decor. Tables well served and bathrooms were clean. I had a Tbone and it was very good and juicy not too much fat. The dishes comes with potatoes but we order salad and greens on side and it was perfect for 4 people. The appetizers were large so I recommend 1 order per couple. Chimichuri sauce is not the green original that we know from south America but is very good too! Vast wine list with good Argentinian wines too. Service was fast and friendly. Just wish they had some parking deals....but overall a great place.

Lovely ambience. Everything neatly placed and managed. The food was good and came in time. The staff were not so good. It felt as if they were forcing us to order more. It was really awkward and inconvenient. The drink serving lady was cold as well. Would be my first and last experience there.

A very busy cheerful restaurant. Staff very competent in dealing with a "packed to the rafters" vibe, literally, with upstairs dining as well as ground level. The food was delicious, delivered in a timely manner, was hot and hearty. Staff very attentive. Wine list reasonable and had international alternatives to chose from. It is is a place for really good steaks and surprisingly, the vegetables were excellent. Its easy walking from Majestic Room Gardens Hotel and other East End attractions. The East End is also worth checking out, full of Vibrant places to eat and drink. Spoiled for choice.

Friendly waiters that never let your drinks go dry, nicely cooked steak & ok sized portions. Being south American and from the Argentine & Uruguayan region the chimichirri tasted less like chimichurri & more like a Dijon mustard for some reason or another, maybe it was the batch. But ideally that was the only thing I wasn't satisfied by. The cocktails my partner and I had were nice & refreshing! I'd suggest this place to go to and try out.

Wow, what a night we had recently at sostas. Probably the best seafood I’ve had in Adelaide in a long time. Cooked to perfection, paella was amazing, the seafood platters were sensational. Not one thing on them that wasn’t cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The meat platters and beef ribs were incredible, the chimichurri sauce is like liquid gold on your lips. Great wine selection at a reasonable price and the staff were awesome. Attentive, knowledgeable and also enjoyed a good laugh. A great night was had by all and I can’t wait to go back for another feast!

Entrees was not good (specially empanadas), steak was amazing but the service was bad. We felt bad that there is only 1 waiter on the floor looking after all the tables probably until 6:30pm. We have to wait for long to get our order taken, refilled water, table cleared. We wanted to have desserts but our main plates has been on our table for maybe 1 hour and no one clearing it. I understand with this covid but then should have manage the booking as per how you can serve them.. We were so excited to come here but felt very much neglected and not taken care of for $600 spending.

Sosta’s is a lovely restaurant for a intimate catch up with loved ones or a group of friends. Plenty of options to share or have to yourself with friendly service suggesting complimentary wines. The meat is served by itself so expect to add on items for a complete meal

My wife and had the Mixed Grill for 2. Wow! So beautifully cooked. Great selection of meats. Extremely generous quantity. You will walk/roll away, well fed and loving it. The friendly and efficient staff, even at full capacity was commendable. Will return when we next visit from Melbourne.

We were a group of 6, with 5 of us having the same meat. After waiting for over an hour for our meal we found the consistency of the cooking was definately not the same. Ranging from blue to well done. We passed our feedback to the staff who didn't seem to be concerned, nor did management offer any apology or acknowledgement. One waiter was brilliant, if it wasn't for him this would have been only 2 stars. All in all we had a very disappointing and expensive experience which we won't be doing again.

Had dinner at Sosta on Sat night after seeing a show at the Fringe. Got a great table on the street (which was closed off for the Fringe) and the waiter (Dallas) was an absolute professional and a bit of a funny fellow as well. Attentive server gave me the best seafood combo ever. Fresh superbly grilled salmon, lobster, shrimp, squid, octopus, scallops, mussels and oysters in a buttery seafood broth with a nice green salad and lemon infused toasted sour dough. More than I could eat. And washed down with a good aussie riesling and a great Tasi sparkler. Do it!

I have visited this restaurant few times. It never disappoint me. All charcoal bbq I have tasted are outstanding and juicy. Wine menu offer some unique varieties you can't find in the market. Also the service is really good. If you are planning dinner at weekend, I recommend to reserve a table. Enjoy!

It was ok, but was no where near my expectations given a high number of good reviews. It seemed as though the service you get highly depends on the staff member you get. Some are amazing, some not so friendly. The platter is a good size so no complaints there and everything was alright, but just seemed to be missing something to lift it beyond "a decent pub meal". For the price of it though I would have thought it would be far better than a decent pub meal so wouldn't rush back based on that.

We were there for my sons 21st 29/8/20 and had an amazing experience. From the initial conversation with anna to the professional warm and friendly staff to the amazing food and plenty of it even the cocktails everything was perfect . Hospitality: We arrived at 6:10, while the first dish was served at 7:40. The restaurant was extremely understaffed. Nobody gave us menus or served drinks until 15min after we sat. Staffs were not friendly. Food: food was okay. T-bone steak was over cooked. The paella was delicious, highly recommended. The cream puff dessert was yummy, but the churros were not stunning. In General: the only possible reason for me to go back again is the paella. Hospitality is very disappointing.

Ate here with a coworker on a cold Sunday night. Was quickly greeted and offered a seat by a quirky hostess. The quail entree was a good size (3 1/2 quail portions) and seasoned with their chimichurri sauce. Delicious and cooked to perfection. We both ordered steaks which were cooked exactly as ordered. The house chimichurri marinade for the steaks was excellent. I ordered the 600g T-bone and it was a great cut of meat for $42. My co-dinner ordered the fillet and was equally impressed, though I think the T-bone the better purchase. I can't imagine how big the 1kg must be. Fried potatoes that come with the steak were seasoned with an addictive seasoning. Some pieces were so small they seemed to be burnt in the frying process, so I'd recommend larger pieces for my preference. A side salad was nicely done and prepared for sharing. Overall a pleasant, warm, inviting dining atmosphere offering fantastic Argentinian cuisine. Great steaks and the accompaniments meet the quality of the mains.

Dined there recently as part of a private function and it was fantastic. Both the entee and mains platters were so generous not one platter returned empty. Whilst the room setup was cosy that was purely due to the group numbers the organisers squeezed in. To ease the inconvenience of making trips to the bar the staff took orders while clearing and not busy. If you're looking for a generous meat based function menu this is the place.

We have been going to SOSTA for a few years now and we have always enjoyed the meals there. When ever I order the 1kg Tbone they have always cooked it to perfection. I have noticed that the lovely marinated olives that they serve to you when you arrived has halved in serving portions amount. So as a suggestion perhaps increase the portion amount of the olives.

I like Sosta and have been going there for years. We've been there twice this last month but I suddenly realise that they are getting lazy - the menu hardly ever changes, and its not very big to start with. I now understand its not the place where you can visit too often because the limited menu just doesn't change. I was asking why such simple things as their excellent meat empanadas have been taken off the menu. I was told that even though customers are always asking for them, that since the last menu change (for The Fringe), the kitchen isn't interested to bring them back. There were other examples of feedback to the kitchen / mgt that its not worth going into but it seems like there's not much interest in good old fashioned customer feedback. So much could be done with Sosta with a bit more dynamism.

My favorite Greek restaurant. I've been there a few times, including a private function. Fantastic staff on hand and amazing food! You will most likely ask for takeaway when your done because the portion sizes are very generous. Reccomend anything on the menu.
