On our final night in Adelaide we went to Sunny’s Pizza and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was laid back, service was super friendly and energetic and the food was delicious. I really appreciated that they had house made chilli oil that you could ask for to add to your pizza (a rarity in Melbourne) I liked the location and design of Sunny’s, down an alleyway. With neon lights and a bar feel with the tiniest twist of classy sports it really made for a great night. I am not sure when I’ll be back in SA but when I am I will visit Sunny’s for sure. 5/5

Kudos to the team! We had a 45 minute minute intermission at a nearby theatre and the team managed to find us a seat, take our order and get the food out so we could get back on time! Funky venue, lovely service and nice food.

Truly delicious, top class pizza. You can tell that these people are serious about perfecting their craft. The dough is fresh and light, perfectly cooked, and the variations on the menu are sufficient. We had the #5 and #7. The #5 was great, but the meat fans shouldn’t sleep on the #7. Fried squid, naduja romesco: super tasty! Crunchy and tender 🤤🤤. . Burnt cauliflower, cauliflower puree, pickled garlic: nicely done dish! Love the burnt flavours 😍. . Pork and fennel sausage pizza, eggplant parmigiana pizza, and mushroom and pecorino pizza. Overall the pizzas were excellent! The crusts were fluffy and soft, and not heavy at all. The toppings were delicious 😍😍🤤🤤. Not the best best pizzas I've had before, but they're pretty darn close!

We had dinner at Sunny's on Saturday night and the staff were so accomodating! They managed to squeeze our large group in and had food options that catered to the vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters in our group. Big shout out to our server Maddie. She was super friendly and went above and beyond with her service. We had a slight misunderstanding about the menu and Maddie was so quick in sorting it out and taking our order.

Sunny's pizza is located in a quite laneway next to “Cry Baby” and has a brilliant vibe. Being in the city, access is quite easy with it being comfortable walking distance from most popular locations in the CBD. Paid car parking is available less than 50m from the bar as well. Straight from walking in, I was met with a smile and some great energy! Everyone working there had a smile and appeared enthused working in a place where the culture they built can be enjoyed by customers as well. Service was efficient and well managed with only a few check in’s to ensure everything was up to standard. The pizza choices are kept relatively simple so you can work your way through the menu easily. The entrees/sides are perfectly themed to the appeal of the place and the temptation is very high so prepare to leave feeling absolutely stuffed! Costings of the menu is in line with other places and certainly manageable. The ambience was great albeit rather loud. A long narrow design will always generate more noise bouncing off each table but that is supressed by some great music and over dinner, the lights dim to create a nice feel as you transition into your night.

Such yummy pizza here! We got the sausage pizza (number 5) and it was amazing. The crust is the perfect thickness and the sauce doesn’t overpower. The only negative feedback I would give is the serving size of gnocchi is quite small for the price you pay but it also is very delicious. We loved that Sunny’s was hidden away in a back alley away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Also Mondays they do $15 margaritas and margaritas 😉🍹🍕

Scared to review this Gem of spot tucked away just off Currie street in fear that it'll be even harder to get a table! I have been craving an authentic experience like this for a while. Quality pizza spots are few and far between in Adelaide but Sunny's takes the cake for me. Delicious flavour filled meals cover the entire menu, friendly staff, great vibes for all ages. Sunny's brings the goods!!! Before I rave about the food, I have to rave about our waitress Ella who took customer service to a whole other level. We took my 7yr old daughter with us (yep no pizza hutt or domino slop for my kid) and Ella made her feel so incredibly welcomed that, well let's just say you know who featured prominently in her conversation during the car trip home hahaha. Tucked away down a lane, sunny's eclectic decor frames it's minimal yet funky furniture, with an array of seating options. The menu had the perfect mix of "pizza" and "not pizza" options. *note* definitely grab the brussel sprouts. The pizza toppings we're high quality and the flavour combinations on point. Will definitely be back, this time without the human child, to sample the cocktails we saw being delivered to neighbouring tables.

A casual place that's a little bit fancy. A slight retro vibe with disco balls. Hidden away in an unsuspecting alleyway. The service is excellent. Good food and wine. Vegan and vegetarian options available. The only thing that's hard to stomach is the cost of the pizzas at $25 a pop. If you generally eat a lot, then 1 pizza may not be enough for you...

The best vibes!! Came here with a group of friends, we had the Feed Me option and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were also super lovely and helpful, they definitely made our night. The vegetarian pizza options are amazing and well thought out, plus they can all be made vegan! The pizzas are always great! This is a very popular place for after-work/after-school hang out and a feed. The non-pizza items on the menu were so scrumptious! I was not expecting that but it's an absolute delight. Forgot to take photos because everyone at our table just couldn't get enough of the fabulous food. This had to be the BEST calamari/fried squid my bf and I EVER had! It took a while to come out and we asked the bartender if it was coming soon cause we wanted to cancel it. He said it took a while cause they had to cut it. Thank goodness we didn’t cancel that order!!! When it came out, it didn’t look that great and we were getting full. We normally like the rings and tentacles but this one was a steak cut into strips. As soon as I ate it, I told my bf OMG this is sooooo good! He tried and agreed. It was sooo tender and the seasoned batter fried crispy with some kinda spicy sauce on the bottom. We were so thankful we didn’t cancel that order. We also had the special mushroom pizza which was amazing. Even the Brussels sprouts were done perfectly! I had the special watermelon cocktail. I was feeling a bit sick but am a watermelon-aholic so I needed to order it and it did not disappoint. Place was kinda like a club on Friday night. They had a DJ and the place was packed! I didn’t care for the ambience much but the food was spectacular. Will definitely go back but maybe on a quieter night.

Tucked in the alleyways of the CBD you will find one of the most amazing and delicious eatery’s in town! The chilled vibes instantly make you feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your evening. Some of the staff seem a bit stand offish, but once you get talking they are friendly enough. The menu is kept short and sweet, but not simple to read. The only reason I don’t give these guys 5 stars is because I had to google ingredients. If they could add a funky glossary to their menu it would be well received! No one wants to feel like a dum dum and have to ask what half the ingredients are on the menu. It takes away from the relaxed experience. Once the shame of ordering and asking questions was over, the food was promptly served and very delicious! It is obvious that only fresh produce is used and the favour combinations are well thought out. You could easily order one of everything off the menu and be very satisfied with all of the choices. The space was neat, tidy and clean. The restrooms were also nice and clean. There was a DJ playing while we were there which was cool. Overall a great place to visit and would come again!

Amazingly efficient service on a very hot and busy night; a good drinks list; a buzz-ey, friendly space. For starters we had two excellent dishes: crispy fried potatoes; and baby 'heirloom' tomatoes. (I don't think the heirloom varieties actually ever used to come in baby sizes - Black Russians the size of marbles?) The pizza bases were authentic - soft not floppy - and the toppings, if nothing like authentic Italian were in fact fantastic. One with squid ink, one with sausage. If obsession with authenticity denies us food this delicious, then to Hell with it! I'm coming back for more.

I feel like I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life, but I spose so have most people cos pizza is the most hella good food there is. But last night, on my first visit to Sunny's I had without doubt the best pizza of my life. I was pretty surprised to find that ham and pinaple could or would be the best of my life, but it was. I don't know if it was pizza alone, maybe it was the great beer on tap, or the cool funk on the stereo, but it all just clicked, and that pizza from the dough up, was the one .
