Great customer service - the staff are super friendly! The only downside is that pretty much everything is deep fried, but this seems to be a common theme in many vegan/vegetarian dishes based on my experiences. I ordered the Vegetarian BBQ Rice - I like that we are given the choice of salad or rice. I was happy with the salad and vegetables but the imitation BBQ pork was drenched in oil so I didn't want to eat it. Also ordered the iced mango tea but didn't expect it to be so sweet. The pricing of food is fair. The portions are quite large - the dish I ordered could have fed 2 people. The little shop downstairs was really cool! There was a great collection of teas and tea sets, as well as a wide range of vegan/vegetarian snacks and ingredients. I would come again, but only just to buy tea leaves or something.

Thea tea shop is my absolute go to in the city, for yummy, wholesome vegan food. I have never had a bad meal here and always leave feeling full but light. The atmosphere is very peaceful as well. My favourite dishes are the crispy vegan Hainan, sweet and sour thing, Thea cold noodles and passionate fruit tea :)

Wow this is some of the most amazing food I have ever eaten 🤯. I’ve been working my way through the menu over the last month and still have a long way to go! Also they prepare it quickly, it’s affordable and it doesn’t contain any onion or garlic (which many people with fructan intolerance will appreciate). New favourite restaurant!

Yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy food. My favourite meal is “thea’s marinated rice”. You have the option with rice or with salad. I get it with rice. Then, and this is the secret, ask for peanut sauce, and then pour that over the top. Soooo good AND healthy!

This place is honestly a hidden gem tucked away in the city and even amongst the hustle it has such a calming atmosphere. 5 stars to the staff always so friendly and helpful always feel comfortable. Now to the best part and my favourite when i can give a 5 out of 5 for food and price. I have been coming here for years and my go to have always been the cripsy hainin or the bbq rice but last Monday i tried the day special of curry fried rice and i must say it's the best fried rice i have ever had the pleasure of consuming!! Also the iced pineapple tea was top notch!! Thanks so much everyone that works here your food is amazing and your passion shows in the consistency of every meal!! To everyone reading this do yourselves a favour and go in for a meal😀

I was surprised with this set up, beyond the front takeaway coffee stand is a ambient eatery. They offer an Asian vegetarian / vegan ONLY Menu. As a meat lover, I am amazed at how flavoursome the (non meat) dishes are here. One of the best quality vegetarian places in Adelaide. The drinks selection has a wonderful selection of specialty teas to try. The staff are so polite here.

Super healthy stuff with some vegan Dish that could make you feel that your are having chicken or meat. I wasn't been told before that this is not chicken and I didn't come to know untill I was told. But their everyday special is must to try for the Tom yum soup and fish fillets is something that I love. Also the barbeque rice. Along with that this was the place I tried the bubble tea.I would highly recommand peach mango drink

One of the better fake meat places I have been too. A good time to go would be a Tuesday for their soy fillet in Tom yum sauce. However it's a Tuesday special. And while this is something I look forward too, most of the other dishes on the menu are pretty good as well. And the quantity is nothing to complain about as well. However the only negative is that they do tend to ice up your drink even if u specifically mention not to in your order. And this has happened on more than one occasion.

I’ve been coming to this amazing restaurant for close to 17 years, the food is so carefully prepared and beautifully presented. It is always spot on! The Teas are out of this world! I've been coming here for years. Always love the favorites like spicy cold noodles or curry laksa. The bubble teas and hot green teas are great also. The staff are friendly and accommodating too. Just recently the consistency of the food and service has been an issue with multiple wrong orders for take aways or some changes to signature dishes. Not sure if it's new waiting staff or kitchen staff but hope it gets resolved soon. 🙂

Such a cute little place. I searched for bubble tea and decided to go in based on the good reviews, so glad I did. Ordered a lavender milk tea which was so delicious. (Also never seen that flavour before) The staff were so cute and friendly I felt appreciated just being there. This is my favourite place in Adelaide ... and by the number of familiar faces among the customers ... it is for lots of other people too. Also it is one of the place I bring non vegetarian friends ... a lot of them never realise it is vegetarian .. it breaks the "rule" that vego food is boring. There is a good selection of Vegan and Vego meals, delicious bubble tea. They also sell tea pots and cups and sometimes artwork. Cool place to hang on a long afternoon. The soup is rich and not greasy, and it is not too spicy, with rice noodles in it. It has two textures and noodles. It is also delicious with fried rice cakes. There are a lot of vegetables and tofu. The serving size is bigger than I expected. If you want to drink hot soup, don’t miss the bowl of laksa noodles. It’s so delicious 👍( Laksa noodles are not on the menu, it is written in front of the counter, just order it at the cashier) I ordered the Shiitake Mushroom Xiaolongbao, which was delicious, and I will bring my husband to eat it next time. 🌸 "Thea Tea Shop" downstairs is a vegetarian supermarket, the price is very affordable, a variety of vegetarian materials, curry instant buns, noodles, rice noodles, instant noodles everything, friends who love vegetarian food, don't miss a stroll.
