I am of Spanish origin and have large amounts of chest hair I approved of the green chicken breast thing. I like chicken and this chicken was great. Please I would love to know the recipe for this (I don’t think this was Spanish though just an FYI). The other tapas was not like Abuela’s but I expected this since I am in Adelaide. All good and all is forgiven. Keep up the good work!

We've been wanting to come to Udaberri for a long time! Finally made it. We cannot complain about anything really. All the food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. . Bread and butter: great tasting butter. . Crispy pigs ears: such crunchy goodness! . Stuffed baby squid: sooooo good 🤤🤤🤤. . Sauteed portobello mushroom with fried enoki, espellete, and egg yolk: sooooo fantastic!! Amazing 😍😍. . Roasted pumpkin with cauliflower: really great dish. . Buttermilk fried deep sea cod: super tender fish! . Mussels and chorizo: wow the sauce was sooooo amazing! Loved used the bread to dip the sauce haha. . Porcini paté: super tasty! . Crispy pork belly: the crackling was great, the pork was tender, and the sauce was amazing. . Rum baba with sourdough ice cream: the rum was super strong, but it worked well. . Basque cheesecake: very good and creamy, but not as good as the torta de queso from San Sebastian 😉.

Loved it here. Stumbled on Udaberri after it was recommended to us by staff from another venue and were pleasantly surprised with our experience at this sexy little joint. The pintxos are truly authentic and very tasty, the txakoli is crisp, refreshing and poured in the true Basque style.. A fitting ode to the old bars of San Sebastian.

We ordered the porcini pate, scallops, portobello and oyster mushrooms, patatas bravas and chorizo. Almost all of it was out of this world, especially the pate and scallops!! But the chorizo was underwhelming so I wouldn't order that again. I think the waitress forgot we ordered chorizo, as she tried to remember it all without writing it down, and we had to ask where it was after all the other food arrived. It arrived 10ish mins later but fortunately the rest of the food was unbelievable! Would visit again

Great (especially during Covid times) to temporarily feel like you're somewhere in Spain or Europe to sit and watch the world go by with a wine, gin, cocktail and a plate of deliciousness. But been basque myself I have to say that food is very adapted to aussie standards and only a couple of options will be considered traditional pintxos. I would recommend as food is pretty good, but don't expect to find traditional basque pintxos.

I thought the pintxos, if not as elaborate as you'd get in San Sebastien, were fine, and the waiters were smart and helpful. The bar makes a point of its range of gins, but they are presented with so much fuss and tonic that it is not easy to taste the actual product - we three each had a different gin and were hard-pressed to tell them apart. The seating, being wooden stools, didn't invite me to stay and try the full, rather interesting, food menu.

I First found Udaberri when exploring the laneways of Adelaide. It reminded me of my favourite Pintxos Bar in Poble Sec, Barcelona. The food choice, at first glance seems a little confusing to anyone not accustomed to tapas. Sizes don't always relate to plate size, however we found that all items that we ordered were flavoursome and we'll portioned. This is true Basque cuisine in the heart of Adelaide.
