I have had many wonderful experiences at 1889 Enoteca and felt it was about time to publicly post that and share some photos from those visits. Before anyone is put off by the T-bone though, I thoroughly enjoy blue steak, but know it may not be to everyones liking. They can cook it however you like.

The best gnocchi ever. I like how they decorate the interior. I think that makes customers to enjoy their meals better. I never drink but the atmosphere made me wanted to enjoy all menu with a glass of wine. Staffs were friendly. I will go visit again soon for the gnocchi.

We had a superb evening at Enoteca, where we felt like we could have been in Italy. The service, food, wine and atmosphere was flawless. The staff were wonderful - very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the wines and food on the menu. We will definitely go again!

The food and wine were so authentic, I felt like I was in Italy. I love the decor and ambiance, and the service is exceptional. I think this is definitely one of the best restaurants in Brisbane because they are so consistent year after year. Well done.

5 star service, food and ambience! Wine list is extensive (the orange wine was omg so yummy), food done well, great wait staff and lovely restaurant in general! Perfect date night venue or an intimate birthday party (they have a whole basement that can be cordoned off for private parties).

My company held a celebration lunch in the private dining room downstairs. What a lovely location, surrounded by wine racks and the original cellar brickwork. That was just the start of an amazing lunch. An array of delectable dishes prepared by talented chefs. It's difficult to choose a favourite. Attentive and efficient wait staff looked after us for the afternoon. 10/10

Great Italian food, the selection of dishes is definitely not your ordinary Italian restaurant menu. We had zucchini flowers, Vitello tonnato, two pastas and two deserts, really great meal! The staff was super helpful as well. Maybe a bit pricy for the size of the dishes, but worth it if you want to be taken back to Italy…

Get the gnocchi. It is without any shred of exaggeration, utterly fantastic. The textural contrast between the gnocchi and the pork and fennel sausages is delightful, and each bite of gnocchi melts apart in your mouth like a cloud parting. Drawing it all together is a truffle sauce. For very good reason, this dish hasn't left the menu in 13 years since the restaurant opened. Our evening was made all the more memorable thanks to our waiter Lorenzo's attentiveness, genuine interest in our experience, and excellent knowledge of the wine menu. He picked the perfect wine pairing for my wife's carbonara, never let our glasses even get close to empty, and provided us with the perfect balance of engaged conversation and space to enjoy our meal. Well done Enoteca. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

What a wonderful evening we had at Enoteca! Staff were super friendly and helpful but not over the top. Food was amazing! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Beautiful wine! We explained what we were looking for and left it for the waiter to decide for us. He matched what we wanted to perfection. Overall it was definitely a night we will remember for a long time!

I would say the best gnocchi in town. The main fish is impressive, very well cooked. The grilled bug is really nice as well. A few downs: the crab pasta wasn’t seasoned properly, disappointed. The seasoning along the meal is so random. Some is well seasoned. Some just like the cook forgot to add salt during the cooking. Which is a bit unacceptable for a restaurant which has 13 stars. Service is good. Overall, It’s a good experience but didn’t meet my expectation.

Absolutely speechless! The food, staff and ambience just keeps me coming back for more. Every time I dine at Enoteca I tell myself I will order something other than the gnocchi; but I can't help myself, it is so delicious. The texture of the gnocchi is spot on, and with the added flavour of the creamy truffle tapenade sauce with pork sausage - I am obsessed. The staff at Enoteca are very attentive and very clearly know their stuff, providing great wine suggestion pairings based on the dish and my own personal taste. An amazing place for date night, special events or if you just want to treat yourself.

Whether you're looking to host an intimate wedding reception or just wanting to have an exceptional night out, I couldn't recommend Enoteca more as the place to celebrate good food and a good time. I have had the pleasure of enjoying both a delicious dinner and just recently, my own wedding reception here and the experience was outstanding. Lorenzo and his team were amazing as every detail was perfectly organised on their part. The food was exquisite, with all of our guests falling in love with the truffle gnocchi in particular. The atmosphere of the private dining room was positively beautiful and the service was second to none. Enoteca was absolutely perfect and we're very thankful to all the staff for making our night extra special.

Greeted at the door and welcomed in by super friendly staff, the immediate feel as we stepped into this restaurant was an intimate, dimly lit experience. There are bottles of wine every where you look and i love the rustic brick finished interior 👍🏼👍🏼 . We ordered the Insalata Di Pesche (a peach Salad dish) to start. The peach wedges combined with the buffalo mozzarella was refreshing and tasted great! I didn't know i loved buffalo mozzarella so much 🤭 . Then for mains I got the Pappardelle Pasta which had tonnes of braised pork & beef loaded on top of the large, very broad flat pasta. It tasted amazing, not super heavy and was rich and very flavoursome👌🏼 Wifey got the Sandcrab Tagliatelle which also had generous amounts of crab meat and a zesty lemon taste to accompany the pasta. This too tasted super yummy!!! 🤤🤤🤤 . We also got some Roasted Potatoes to share which had whole roasted cloves of garlic and oodles of rosemary in there as well. The potatoes had a nice crunchy outer jacket and a soft inside 🔥🔥 . Aaand to finish off a great evening of food, we got the Tiramisu to share. Strong but not overpowering espresso flavours and enough chocolate to keep it all balanced out 🥰 . An amazing evening of food and very happy we got to try this place out. Would highly recommend it and we'll definitely have to go back for another visit 🔥🔥🤩🤩💯

Dinner Saturday night Was an enjoyable evening. From cocktails and through to desert, the main standout for me was there spaghetti Carbonara(delicious). All in all if you love Italian this place is a must. Beautiful suburban restaurant.

Came here on a whim and it was an incredible decision. Lorenzo served us from beginning to end and gave us an absolutely wonderful experience. He recommended us a tremendous wine to our needs. As a vegan, he offered me an eggless and gluten free pasta that was specially made and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning. Went with a few mates who ordered the carbonara and the sand crab tagliatelle and they were raving about the quality and taste. 100% would recommend. Thank you to Lorenzo!

This is our absolute favorite place to dine in brisbane. We have visited as a couple and a family many times and always feel welcome, relaxed and valued. The service is warm and responsive and food is sensational. My favorites are the stuffed zucchini flowers, gnocchi, huge T-bone and side of veggies. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Brisbane! Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all wonderful. The stand out dishes were the gnocchi and the truffle pasta. I could eat the gnocchi dish every week. Service was quick and friendly. We luckily found a parking stall fairly close the restaurant, but it's limited so be sure to allot extra time to find parking. Reservations are highly recommended...you can make online reservations thru their website.
