Great place to grab a coffee or cold drink. Just one block from the waterfront you can get a takeaway and go sit on a bench and enjoy the water vista. Seem popular for their fish send chips. We had a cappuccino plus a large caramel milkshake. Milkshake made with 2 scoops of ice cream was very rich and yummo. The cappuccino was initially very hot , once cooked down a bit tasted good. Definitely stop by for a try.

Our pieces of barra were so huge we couldn't finish, fresh, moist and perfectly cooked fish, batter crisp and not overly greasy (remember, this is fried food). A lovely family working hard in the community have been here nearly 1 year and deserve support. Previous poor reviews made me hesitate and I'm happy to report they are wrong!

If I didn't purchase land at Toogoom first ..then I would b living at burrum Nice and Relaxed....Friendly I'm a Carer for my Elderly Mother who lives with me .. Burrum Heads is an easy access point for some exercise for her stroll on Firm level sand Excellent boat Ramp to launch the boat too🙂... I also picked up a very nice Well looked after Old canoe.. Sweet!!

Amazing food, had battered Barramundi last night and it was the best fish and chips I’ve had in the 11 years that I’ve been living in Australia having moved her from the UK! The burger was fantastic and homemade, so good we are all having in the having the same again tonight, I could move here and live off it it was so good. Ice Cream is fabulous too!!!

Excellent Fish and Chips, fresh Australian Barramundi, Red Emperor plus other fish, served with a light salad. Great coffee and very friendly, attentive service. Centrally located, easy walk from Caravan Parks, beach and boat ramps. Highly recommended.

I recommend doing yourself a favour and getting the wedges over the chips. Chips were disgusting, unfortunately, and I don't use that word lightly. Hollow and very oily. Wedges are much better and plenty of them in a serve. I was warned about the chips a week before, so it doesn't seem to be a one-off thing. Cod was nice, just a little small.

What an amazing find! Very popular place and once you try you'll understand why! Fresh ingredients used on their delicious burgers, great chips and impressive thickshakes.

Always an amazing experience, Their food is amazing and tasty, and inexpensive. (Two Bacon and Egg Rolls and two cups of their amazing Retro coffee (Which is one of the best cups I've ever had) cost me around $21.50). I absolutely adore this place and if I didn't live so far away, I'd definitely be a regular.

Absolutely fantastic feed. The Barra was delicious and the offer of sweet potato chips was a refreshing change from the standard fare. Prices are extremely reasonable and the store is a short walk from the waterfront where you can sit and watch the Pelicans while enjoying your meal.

Pretty good value for money. If you can judge a fish and chipperie by anything it's how they do with calamari and chips. These guys nail both. Just bumped this to five stars. The coffee is surprisingly good and completely unexpected for a place like Burrum Heads — An addition from a few years later. This review still holds up. Really good fish and chips and the calamari was some of the best I’ve had.

This place has fantastic fish and chips. We dined in and had the seafood basket. Unfortunately scallops were not available due to current shortages, but we got extra prawns and calamari. The calamari was superb. The chips just enough crunch. The fish, yum. The amount on the plate more than enough. Very friendly staff and the price very reasonable. Highly recommend this place for lunch.

Went for a Sunday drive and stopped in to Burrum. Saw the Cafe and decided to stop for some coffee, fish and chips. The service was great, staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee was really good and fish cooked beautifully. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
