This could become the go to place for fine dining and wine. Great evening with very attentive service. The wine list, the ambience and the fresh complex flavours create a wonderful evening. Highly recommended and will be taking Ms Boo there again soon.

My new favourite venue in Brisbane! My friends and I attended a baby shower at Banc over the weekend and couldn’t have dreamed up a more special day. The food, the drinks, the wine list and the set-up for a private function was all perfect. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to cater for our group, helping us to set up a paint and sip afternoon, which was so much fun! We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Banc Brasserie and Wine Bar!

Beautiful building with an old world charm. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The lions mane mushroom is highly recommended! An extensive alcohol list, the sommelier suggested some amazing wines that made the evening perfect. Would love to come back again soon.

Recently opened, located in the Brisbane Heritage building : this restaurant has location, good atmosphere, romantic music, beautiful wine list and most importantly delicious dish at reasonable price. The only negative aspect I noticed was smell, not sure whether ventilation is the issue: there was sewage smell most siginficant at the entrance. Smell kinda lingers around inside the restaurant too which is a shame for such a nice atmosphere. Hope this is a temporary issue and can be fixed. Will be back.

Amazing 👏🏻 Excellent, friendly and very thoughtful service. The restaurant looks beautifully French and they have a long list of wine. We went for dinner and had the gougères (French cheese puffs) for canapé; the duck parfait with brioche and muscat, the bug tagliatelle and the crab with prawn and gazpacho for entrés; the lamb rack for main and; the buttermilk panna cotta for dessert to share. All delicious and refined! The cocktails were yum too ~ we had the Leverage and Clerk's Cup 🍹🍸 Definitely will be back.

Had a great dinner on Saturday night at Banc. Food was fantastic and so was the service. We were greeted by the owners for their 1st night and were made to feel so welcomed with a glass of Champagne on arrival. The service from Taylor and Mathew was excellence. Huge wine list too. My wife had two espresso martinis while I had some malt whisky. We had a dozen oysters to start and were recommended a glass of white to compliment the oysters. Then for entree we had Pork belly and scallops which was so flavoursome. For mains we had Duck breast along with Lamb which also looked and tasted perfect. Taylor then sold us Brulee and Blue cheese. Perfect Way to finish a great night. A big thank you to the team at Banc for the perfect dinning experience we will be back

Beautiful, but it's more a very formal restaurant than a wine bar. We went for after work drinks. There was some very nice couches but we were told to sit at a tall table with stools. Drinks & service faultless, but felt like we had to be on best behaviour & few people under 50 there. More ladies who lunch than 30s-40s professionals that you usually find in a wine bar.

We had a group of 12 blokes, big eaters, for corporate Xmas lunch. It was fantastic. The food was excellent and we couldn't finish the banquet they provided for us. Wine options are numerous, from mid range up to top shelf, and then there is the service which was highly attentive form the moment we arrived at the bar. These professionals know what they are doing, in all areas of the dining experience.

Superb restaurant with old world feel. We had our Christmas party here in late December and it was fantastic. Taylor & Matt looked after us extremely well with excellent food & wine recommendations. Food was terrific and the wine list extensive. Will be back.

Banc is located in a charming character building that provides a luxurious and welcoming ambience. On arrival we were delighted to see that COVID protocols are enforced, however, we were still seated quickly and without fuss. Three menus were handed to us without any explanation and the server vanished very quickly. We noted that the same server explained the menu to some tables in full without being requested, yet not in our case. It was a very long time before we were approached for our drinks order, and even longer for our food. When our food did arrive, both courses were tepid from being left out in the kitchen for delivery. I will say that temperature aside, the food was fresh and made from quality ingredients. The rest of our evening passed in the same manner - a bit hot and cold. We were left trying hail a server down akin to flagging a taxi in peak hour. When the server did attend to us, items were handed to us by reaching in front one of us, despite the ease of travel around the table. It was not a bad experience, just not one that you expect from a fine dining establishment.

Amazing food, beautiful use of a beautiful heritage building and the cocktail list is something special! Indregients are far from the normal combos but the super knowledgeable staff are really helpful is recommending something.

Stunning restaurant! Absolutely beautiful with fresh flowers, high ceilings and classy features. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Wine list is very extensive - I was excited to find a gewertz-traminer which is always a winner for me. The menu has a small but perfect offering of various European dishes.. The raspberry oysters were beautiful and the steak ftites was just perfect. Theis is definitely a date night spot or a place to entertain clients. Can't wait to come back!

We went here for a very special occasion with little expectation as we booked last minute after our booking was canceled somewhere else. We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality, food and wine. It reminded us of the classic dining experience that has been missing in the Brisbane Scene - We let the manager order for us (Jordan?) and she delivered with the salmon entree and their signature Steak Frites - Paired with a French red that we would never usually order. So excited that we have this in Brisbane now! We are going to take our family when they can come across the boarder.

We enjoyed a great early dinner at Banc.The decor is very stylish and elegant without being too formal. The Coral Trout with finger limes, roasted pumpkin and braised fennel were superb. Then we followed this by an excellent creme brûlée.Taylor was our friendly waitress and all the staff are very efficient. They have an extensive wine list. Would highly recommend Banc French brasserie.

Wow what a night! My husband and I found ourselves at this gorgeous restaurant last weekend and absolutely loved it. As soon as you walk in you are captivated by the high ceilings and fit out. We were shown to our tables and the staff were super friendly. We started with oysters, cured salmon and the pork belly and then were recommended the steak and frites that lived up to expectation and more, reminding us of our last trip to Paris! Not needing anymore but interested in the creme brûlée we ordered one to share and what a way to finish! Super lucky to have this spot in town and can’t wait to be back again, have already recommended to a few work colleagues in my industry for a weekday long lunch! Banc has nailed French simplicity here, c'est à la mode but remains minimalist, you walk through the doors and could instantly be in Paris 16th district. The baguettes resemble a real French baguette and the butter is actual French butter. Something that seems so hard to get right for so many but has been mastered by Banc brasserie. Steak frites was exquisite,the salad on the side had the correct dressing. It these small things that make it what it is. My only only heart ache moment was that there were no crepes but the creme brulee was great. Wine list was great we went for Henschke Shiraz, highly recommended 👌
