K. O.A bit disappointing. Ordered a bún (noodle salad) with prawn and spring roll and a 'young coconut' house made drink and my partner ordered a deep fried soy chicken bahn mi. My salad was good, the bahn mi was ok but the young coconut drink was terrible. I was hoping to avoid buying single use plastic but as you can see by my photo it came in a plastic cup with plastic lid, plastic straw and straw wrapper. I also found it much too sweet for my liking, not sure what sweetener was added. I really only wanted coconut water :(

R. B.The BEST Vietnamese joint in town. Love their Bahn mi and soups!! I've been going there since it opened and its still my favourite place to eat out! Always fresh and full of flavour! The owner is always so friendly! Couldn't recommend more!
N. Y.Standard Vietnamese food that you see at almost all Vietnamese restaurants; noodles, sandwiches and rice dishes. Nothing spectacular that makes this place stand out but food is good. We had their beef brisket pho, crispy chicken rice dish and pork chop rice dish. Service is okay but staff spent more time talking among themselves versus the customers. Safe bet if you want to be introduced into Vietnamese food or need a quick healthy bite to eat. Price is okay. But if you want something authentic and outside the norm, look elsewhere. Conveniently located and restrooms are less than a minute walk to the right as you leave the restaurant. No restrooms available at the restaurant and seating is open air (no enclosed area with AC). Knocked one star for not focusing on customers and lack of branding/dishes to make them stand out of the crowd.

P. M.Stoked to have such quality Vietnamese food so close to my work. I eat here at least twice a week. Their banh mi is authentic and delicious. My 'go to' is the grilled chicken noodle salad (with extra chilli for me) which is so fresh and full of flavour.
C. O.(Edited due to reply) I've ordered in from here a few times now and the food is exactly what you would expect, it's good, French inspired Vietnamese sandwich. The downside is that Banh Mi are usually an incredibly cheap simple sandwich, and they're delicious and have a consistent flavour no matter where you go. While I understand the rent in Southbank is probably pretty steep, 9 dollars for a sandwich that would usually cost 4 (the price in Melbourne 10 years ago) to 6 dollars (near where I work in Darra but it's been a while so they might be more now) is a significant premium even though it's just like any Banh Mi. The pickup price looks spot-on, but the premium on delivery makes it comparable with high protein sandwiches like burgers and Philadelphia cheese steaks which would be 3 to 5 dollars more, but potentially offer better value?

S. V.Yes most of Southbank is “tourist food” but BMT is up there with the better Bahn Mi places in Brisbane! Soy chicken is delish, be nice if they offered an egg version for vegetarians. Enjoy!
