We chose Bella Tiarne for our daughter’s 21st birthday celebration dinner. It was close to the valley nightclubs they were heading off to afterwards. Everyone had such a great time. The owner Leo told me he’d take care of the menu and it was all delicious. The kids were fed very soon after they sat down. The food was all fabulous with so many different options of pizza, pasta and breads for everyone. Leo’s hospitality was even more so. This is the perfect place for a group dinner. Without a doubt the best place we could've chosen for a get together. Get in there and trust Leo to feed you.

Great food and excellent service generally still only gets four stars for me. I only give 5 stars when my kids (9 and 7) give it the tick of approval. They liked being able to draw on the tablecloth, but more importantly, they liked the fact that the staff showed them every curtesy they showed me. And I liked that too...

This establishment is situated in the heart of New Farm on Brunswick Street. The decor is a stunning mix of Italian history with charming images of famous Italians on the walls, luxury, and modernity. My table provided a clear view of the workings on the restaurant but I couldn’t help but feel like I was in a relaxing private space whilst I enjoyed the dinning experience. The thematic artwork, music and old world sensibilities of the Chef created the experience that prompted me to write this lengthy review. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses (and deserts if you you have a sweet tooth like myself). I had Etna Di Mare as my main, Anti Pasto on crisp fresh as a starter with a lovely bottle of Casella. The cherry on top was the Tiramisu for desert, my Lordy it was delightful. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The award-winning establishment clearly uses the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are memorable. The service was charming and of the highest quality (and I can be tricky to please, or so I have been told…). It was enjoyable to experience dining the way it once was and the way it is meant to be. The attentive waiters have a genuine and thoughtful vestment in your experience. The owner was very warm and thoughtful and checked in on our experience twice and was authentically engaged. At Bella Tiarnie the food is delicious and the atmosphere is brilliant. 5 stars!

If I could describe my visit to Bella Tiarnie in one word only it would be - perfection. Upon entry to the restaurant, a delightful waitress offered me a table in a cosy corner, and without overwhelming me she was there for my every need. The standout attribute about Bella Tiarnie on Brunswick Street is diners are spoilt for seating – every table is perfect for its ambience, cosiness and privacy. Dimly lit lights, and perfect acoustics make it the ideal venue for a solo diner, a romantic date for two, or a larger gathering without the amplified banter. I chose the garlic prawns and the dish was assembled with love, care and perfection. I have never tasted such culinary flawlessness – sincere compliments to the chef. The flavours of garlic, prawns, parmesan, wine and cream coalesced in a tower of luscious deliciousness, accompanied with a generous side of toasted sourdough and avocado, and finished with a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds. The attention to detail makes this their most magnificent signature dish. The garlic cream sauce was silken and rich, but not overwhelming, the prawns were succulent and tender. I could not fault this impeccable dish, the restaurant or its staff, and I am grateful to chosen to dine there. For great Italian food in a relaxed and cosy Newfarm nook, and I couldn’t recommend Bella Tiarnie highly enough.

This is my second time here at this place and it was just amazing. The staff were nice and polite and the chef Leo is such a great cook and person. He would usually go around all the tables and personally greet the guests which is great to see and is rare in a restaurant these days. I’ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants in my life and after reading about Bella Tiarnies I was keen to go and try it. We went on a Saturday night where it was busy but not busy enough to wait over 45 minutes for our mains which was 3 pizzas and two pasta dishes. At one stage we were asked are we waiting for desert, while still waiting for our mains! It was only when we complained to one of the waitresses were we told one of the pizza ovens were broken.. Then the mains showed up 5 minutes later as though our mains had been misplaced or something.. Will happily return again, but the customers must be informed when there are delays like this..

This Australian/Sicilian would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Sicilian food. I think it is a nice touch that the Italian chef comes out and meets the people he feeds. Visited Bella Tiarne (for the 3rd time) on New Year's Eve 2019... and it was busy! But we booked, so we got a table. Service was, as usual, pleasant and helpful, but you could tell they were under the gun. But, this isn't a big place, so you just gotta accept the little extra wait on a night like NYE. We started with a pizza... a frankenstein build-your-own variety. It was superb! Chef balanced the selected ingredients perfectly, and cooked it perfectly as well. Crisp base and just the right amount of toppings. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had. (And I've had a few!) For mains, I had a traditional pasta - Tortellini Alla Panna. Delicious little parcels of minced veal in a creamy mushroom sauce. My only complaint came when it was gone. I really wanted to lick the plate!!! My dining companion chose the Scallopini Al Lemone. Looking at it, I wondered if I should offer to swap. Generous scallops of veal and freshly steamed veges in a lite sauce, and scattered with pomegranate seeds. It looked great, and apparently tasted better. I did get to try a little of the sauce... "Wow!" was all I could say. It's only a little thing, but I really like that your main is served with a couple of small pieces of bread. Very Italian, and very nice! Also as usual, chef Leo checked to see if we had enjoyed our meals. He really takes care that everything served at Bella Tiarne is high quality. Thoroughly recommended! We'll be back for more.

Returned last night to Bella Tiarnie in Brunswick St after an absence. Last time I was visiting Brisbane, this time resident for a year or so. Leonardo did not disappoint and proved that my memory of this little owner operated Italian restaurant is perfecto. Just for the Bolognese sauce, this place deserves the 5 stars. Chef Leonardo said that this is a recipe from his grandmother and that he slow cooks it for 10 hours. It tastes just like that. Do yourself a favour: order the gnocchi Bolognese and you won't be disappointed. It's a shame we don't live in Brisbane. If we did we would be coming here every week.

I took my partner there for his birthday and it was by far the best dining experience we have ever had. The food is incredible-the best authentic italian in Brisbane. The service was great and the waitresses were extremely courtesous and professional. It only cost $78 for an entree, two mains and two desserts- every meal was top quality. Finally found a Bella Tiarnie Best Authentic Italian cuisine experience since we moving up here 6 1/2 years ago. We started with a bruschetta and a supreme pizza i can't describe how tasty and complex and satisfying the flavors were the spaghetti marinara was sensational whole tiger prawns, calamari and other succulent sea morsels a statement dish , manager Leonard is great host, socializing and greet all his patrons, a real Italian affair like, a family and friends atmosphere. the waiting staff are excellent, the price's are exceptional for the food quality.we'll be keeping up our patronage up here. A mix up on behalf of Deliveroo resulted in us getting the wrong pizzas. Phone Bella Tiarnie, Leo was more than accommodating offering to make us the correct pizza straight. We drove down to drop off the incorrect pizza and pick up the correct one, to save having to wait for another Deliveroo delivery. Leo was friendly and apologetic, he offered great service, and was willing to fix an error caused by someone else. The pizza was by far the best pizza I have had in Brisbane, I will 100% be coming back for pizza again, but I won't be using Deliveroo for it. Thanks Leo, you are incredible.

After a lovely day with friends going to the movies, City Cat to Southbank and drinks, my husband was hanging out for a pizza. We googled for a venue and Bella Tiarnie came up. As soon as you stepped inside we knew we made a great decision. The smell was devine and the decor made it the perfect setting. Such friendly staff. Guests at an adjoining table were commenting how delicious their meal was. Pizzas were ordered but I went with the recommendation of people at our adjoining table penne carbonara with prawns. Superb!
