Extremely friendly owners with very clean rooms comfortable beds and great swimming pool. To top it off amazing meals. Best cooked rare steak I've had in a long time. Highly recommend staying here

Lovely little motel for an overnight stopover (this was our second stay here). The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the owners were friendly and welcoming. We pre ordered dinner, which was brought to our room at the time we had arranged. The food was very nice. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

Stayed overnight on a whistlestop trip & super impressed with Joanne & the gang. Rooms, beds & bathroom were super clean & comfortable. As the nearest place to get dinner is 10km away, we opted for their menu & weren't disappointed. The chicken goulash with garlic mash & sour cream was restaurant quality & delivered to the room. You can't get better than that!

This is an absolutely delightful place to stay. Stefan and Joan were incredibly welcoming. The room is large, well furnished and a warm heater. We ordered dinner (kindly delivered to our room),cooked by Joan and it was very delicious. This couple deserve to do well running this Motel. We will be back.

Last minute booking. Owners so helpful and friendly. Bed incredibly comfortable. Impeccably clean. The extra touches of tea and coffee and milk was so appreciated. There was even shampoo and tissues available Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely staff, yummy food, clean room! I always make it a habit to stay at this motel when we are in the area. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to the chef for the great conversation and the amazing authentic goulash, and to his wife for making sure we are comfortable and our room is always clean and tidy.

Wonderful scenery, the most comfortable rooms in a motel/hotel I can ever remember staying in. Fast reliable internet, plently of movie subscription. Good beds with good pillows, clean room, well kept bathrooms, everything from the soap to thebeds was wonderful. Friendly environment, good staff. 10/10 Definitely recommend

What can I say ! As a single female on the road I was well and truly safe and looked after. I only stayed the one night but could've stayed 3 just for the comfort and excellent food. You would be crazy to by-pass this as a stop-over on your travels north or coming back south. Stefan and Joan are excellent hosts and Stefan is Hungarian so do yourself a favour and have the goulash (lamb I recommend) for dinner, delivered to your room so you can make a mess of yourself whilst eating at the well positioned counter in your room. My bed and pillows were like angels after my drive AND there is a great reading light above the bed x Enjoy. Oh and the pool looked gorgeous for those summer stop-overs. Beautiful gounds to wander and get the drive out of your legs.

Friendly people, clean rooms, good to have extra channels on Foxtel, black out curtains work well, trailer parking very appreciated, thoughtful space and service with a courtesy phone call the week before to confirm our booking. Sad it's for sale after years of return visits, appreciate the current owners and hope the new ones are just as lovely and accommodating.

Great place to stay. As I travel from Bowen to Brisbane/Wynnum manly . It's a great halfway place for a stop over. Not from family in Rockhampton/Boyenn island.
