Wow Wow Wow!! What a fabulous experience. We went out of our way to try this restaurant and were definately NOT disappointed. From the friendly hospitality on entrance to the out of this world yummy food it was all wonderful. The lamb ribs were just divine, the brisket so butter soft and The New York strip with peppercorn sauce to die for. We were greeted with a very lovely waitress called Chelsea who looked after us and nothing was too hard. If youre looking for a great relaxing atmosphere with good food good music friendly staff then this is the place. we're going again ;)

Our family had a great lunch at your restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday. All staffs were super friendly and food were amazing🙌 Especially the American spring roll brought whole new flavour which was really good. Thanks for the birthday cake. Hope you guys are doing well during lockdown🥰

Dropped in for a quick burger, looking at the menu I knew they would punch out a good burger. I was wrong it was the best burger I've had since I can remember. The brisket loaded fries to match. Yes I conquered it, no I didn't need dinner. This place is fantastic, the staff were absolutely on the top of their game. Hands down a 10 out of 5. 🥳🚨😎

Really friendly and polite staff. I've eaten at and worked in American BBQ restaurants, and these folks have perfectly executed american cuisine. There's no trace of the "cheapness" you get with western style burger/wing joints. The helpings are generous; we got the Cue For Two, and had some fries, pulled pork and brisket left over. The salad/slaw/celery/picked onions/salsa and pickles were all very flavourful (no lettuce in sight!) and welcome additions to the heavy portions of meat. I loved scooping up pieces of slaw or pickled onions then stabbing a fry and eating them together. The cornbread was like a savoury dessert, really buttery and sweet. Also those buffalo wings are the best I've ever had, especially with the blue cheese sauce. Message to the owners: however you prepared the Cue For Two at around 7:45pm on Dec 31st, keep it up!

My husband and I have just had a really great date night tonight. Firstly the staff were so friendly, in particular a really lovely young lady by the name of Chelsea. She was just super helpful, very thorough on all the menu options etc. The food was really tasty and exactly as we ordered. Highly recommend this restaurant and its staff. If you're looking for a decent feed of meat, this is definitely the place to go! We shared a platter which included chicken wings, beef brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chips and cornbread!

Very popular local restaurant. It was packed when we came here but obviously within the parameters of COVID compliance. Friendly and efficient customer service. Finger licking food. We had the Kansas Buffalo wings . It was delicious. We also had the Pulled pork plate and Memphis rub pork belly. All main course meals came with salad and chips. Great servings and will definitely return.⭐⭐⭐

Been here twice and absolutely loved it! The food was mouth watering and delicious. The coleslaw is amazing and I don’t even like coleslaw! The service was wonderful and the staff were welcoming, friendly and funny! I’ll definitely be coming back, and bringing more friends 🥰

Went as a group of 7 and spent ages trying to decide between everyone getting their own meals or platters. Got two platters and was a heap of food that tasted amazing. Service was awesome as well and very fast. Definitely coming back again!

What a enjoyable meal . Great for a group to meet at. Plenty of room What a menu - huge. Best read at home before arriving. Everyone can have a choice from a light meals to “”big boy “ barbecue. Very well priced. And happy to supply doggie bag. The item I enjoyed most was the fresh homemade coleslaw. What makes a great eatery is the trouble they go to for a side salad. .

Amazing place - the food was perfectly flavoured and cooked. The people serving were all friendly and accommodating. And the ambiance of the place is just amazing. You can feel the authenticity of the place like they just want to serve you some awesome food and make your day the best. Would come back again and again.

Its located in Merthyr Village so parking wasn't too hard to find. There is an entrance by the road but we came through the car park around the back. Not too busy so we picked a table and were given menus. Quite a few items looked tasty but we ended up getting the big rib platter to share. We weren't sure if it came with sides but got chips and coleslaw but we didn't get to choose. The Memphis pork belly was amazing. Crispy, flavoursome and simply delicious. The pulled pork and beef ribs were also nice. Huge servings but we did manage to eat all the meat. Nice food and not too bad of a location to get there.

The smoke is a true American Bbq restaurant offering all manner of smoked and slow cooked meals. Prices are a little high but the food is ohh so good. They do booking due to Covid. Please call ahead.

My favourite restaurant in Brisbane! The best pork ribs I have had in my life. The negative of the Smoke is that they have spoiled ribs for me anywhere else I go. Their service is also really quick! Do yourself a favour and eat here.

A wide variety of Americana food options from barbeque to subs and wings and not a bad drinks selection either. I had the ranch fries and the Texan reaper which while not as outlandishly hot as I typically prefer it was easily one of the best burgers I've had ever. Would come back again soon.

OMG this place is a must visit. Awesome friendly service, cold beer, and the best slow cooked meat I have ever had. Ordered the platter for two and it nearly beat us but we were determined not to lose the fight. Best restaurant in New Farm.

Had a shared platter. Most of the meat seemed seriously over cooked and dry though quite tasty. Especially impressed by the strawberry and candied pecan salad. Staff were friendly attentive and polite.

Great location and friendly staff here. Would've loved to make this a 5 star review but unfortunately my brisket wasn't as tender as I would've liked. The salad my partner had was spectacular though, a bit unexpected for a BBQ restaurant! Keen to try some of their other menu items on our next visit.

Considered one of the best places for ribs and all things BBQ; but yesterday's visit was a disappointment, beef ribs were dry and stringy and appeared to have been left in the smoker too long, a far cry from the juicy succulent dish which I have come to expect from the The Smoke. We were also not allowed to order the 2 rib portion at $59 but asked to order 2 single Rib portion at $44 each, citing supply issues 😏
