Staff are super friendly and when I protest was walking past the staff went out of their way to make sure we stayed safe and was still having a good experience. Depot sauce was a bit spicy, if that could be added to the menu it's spicy that would make the experience much better, overall a great burger place.

I leave too many 5 star reviews, maybe I'm just not picky enough. But hot dang the buffalo chicken burger was good, good enough to make the extra gym session worth it. Creamy blue cheese sauce, cheese, moist coleslaw and a lovely soft buttery bun with the cutting tang of buffalo sauce. The deep fried lasagne (yes) changed my friends mind about deep mac n cheese balls, they're a whole level above. Ok range of beers, with a select few crafty options too. Staff were super friendly and helpful, found us a table at a busy time, and service was about as prompt as it can be given the place was packed. The food took a little but that's why beer exists.

I'm a burger lover and I've been craving for decent burger for awhile. My partner's work colleague suggested this place. I was a bit weary at first, but hands down the burgers are so worth my money. I also would like to point out their starter dish for Mac and Cheese was faultless in my eyes. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good service, strong drinks and delicious food.

Great service and easy check in out front. Great set out for small groups in booths and outside but very hot inside, especially for large group bookings. Huge food servings and range, but sadly all foods including entrees served at once, would have been better to have starters come out first...

Ordered a chicken burger. Was sceptical about the maple syrup sauce but the combination of flavours was incredible. The chicken was cooked to perfection and seasoned brilliantly. It was full of flavour and tore apart so easily. Definitely one of my favourite burgers around! Also ordered Lemon Lime and Bitters and they sure know how to make a drink because they used the perfect ratio for a perfect LLB! Staff was really friendly, we were served quickly and received our meals quickly too! Nothing wrong at all with this place, a brilliant experience and I would definitely come back again!

The food and drinks were all good, the whole family enjoyed their meals The waiter was very nice and friendly. Ordering and paying is done by mobile phone at the table, however if you are not able to do this, you can order with the waiter and pay as normal at the register. ☺

Dayum! Probably one of the better burgers I have eaten in a long time. Very tasty, good quality meat, well cooked bacon and delicious cheese! One small gripe was my son had the loaded fries which came in a wire basket which made it difficult to eat without making a mess on the table.. apart from that.. would highly recommend a visit!

I've been to Brooklyn Depot a fair few times having been located in the area for several years and I think they're one of the most consistently solid places to grab a burger in Brisbane. The variety of burgers offered can be a bit confusing, but sticking with the basics like their Royale (a cheeseburger with a special sauce made in house) and a side of share fries is a safe bet. Their milkshakes are great as well. Their service has always been polite enough and their speed of service is definitely above average for the quality being provided.

Greeted at the entrance to be seated. Had waffles and chicken, brought it mainly for the novelty, it got a bit sickly after a while, but overall was cooked well. Friend got the depot burger. Staff were lovely and attentive. Not many tap beer options.

Bit too salty side for us. Coleslaw was average. Probably woolie coleslaw has more flavor. I would go back for burger and chips but not for the ribs. Waiters were quite friendly.

The burger menu has a variety of vegetarian friendly and gluten free options. It also has a wide selection of fried, ribs and other American -style inspired food. Conveniently located across the movies, perfect for a pre or post lunch/dinner. Staff were attentive and the service was great. Ordered the fugAzy burger, which was very filling for a vegetarian burger. -takeaway also available

Just leaving some feedback I know hospitality can be brutal on the weekends and the waiter’s/waitresses don’t get praised enough for their service. I went into Brooklyn depot on grey street after the river fire festival and I absolutely loved the energy from Samuel, the whole restaurant was under the pump and busy AF and Samuel still smiled and gave the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time, I was more than happy to wait in the line after seeing this ball of energy shoot around the restaurant pumping out orders and tending to each customer, very impressed I must say, always happy but never distracted, keep up the good work Samuel, it doesn’t go unnoticed :) From your number one fans, Deanne & pauline x

Staff were frendly but rushed which lead to a milkshake being spilled on our table and a little on one of our party. Of the 6 of us 5 really enjoyed the main, the only disappointment was the veggie burger that was cold and just tasted bad but the staff did offer to change the item. The chips were a bit rushed and so, not crispy, and when you are paying $15ish dollars for a loaded fries that is only really 4 ingredients the chips should really be done right. All in all I'm sure it would be better on a week night but was still a good night out, the ordering system through the app was easy and the drink selection was vast.

Good burgers and awesome milkshakes! The only minus is I ordered fries with cheese and gravy and I expected to be actual cheese melted on top of the fries... but it was a cheese sauce. Very disappointing! It's not worth the 8$. I recommend you to stick with the normal fries as a side which is way cheaper.

Awesome food. Came in at 6.30pm on a Saturday night and got seated right away for my family of 4. Staff were very friendly. Kids meal came out very fast (around 5 minutes) and the other main meals came about in around 15-20 minutes which was reasonable given the busyness of the night

Fantastic food, some of the best burgers while still having a great range of other foods to choose from. American styled food and setting which is a nice change compared to most other food places in the area. Really enjoyed this place and will definitely come again when I'm in the area.

Saturday night very busy. Luckily there was a vacant spot at the bar so I did not have long to wait. The staff where very professional and friendly. The onion rings are the best every. Crunchy but sweet and the dipping sauce is a great accomplment to the rings. The brisket roll and dipping gravy full of flavour. Would definitely recommend the food and service ten out of ten

The place is well suited close to the south bank city beach and the cinema to get lunch or dinner after or before hitting either one of the above. While the fries are delicious and so are their empanadas, the burger was rather average. The patty was unfortunately dry. The service is ok, the waiter was neither unfriendly nor friendly, very neutral attitude, which doesn’t make you feel welcome.

Enjoyed a very special mother/daughter night out and chose Brooklyn Depot to enjoy dinner. The crowd was noticeably happy as we arrived, people smiling and having thoughtful conversations. We were quick to be seated and after 5 minutes was able to order after asking the ladies beside us what they had ordered. Wait staff were exceptional and catered to all our needs. Would definitely return knowing that for under $50 we could have a delicious meal, drinks and sit amongst a very warm atmosphere. Bliss.

Wide range of indulgent food and drinks, friendly and attentive staff, and even little things like telling us it's easy to split the bill (even before we asked). This is a great place for lunch or dinner, and we'll definitely be back. (I haven't had a chance to try their milk shakes yet!) Oh yeah, and they also put on a great Canada Day celebration with REAL poutine and proper Ceasar drinks with Mott's Clamato! They even painted maple leaves (leafs!) on my kids cheeks, just like the staff had.

Okay place to come and have a hotdog or burger. The food taste pretty good however the prices a little mixed. Presentation is good however is not efficient for eating, such as hotdog with ingredients stacked above the bun rather than cuddling the meat stick. The environment is nice, it’s pretty laid back and is comfortable for small and large groups. Staff while friendly and not that good, very slow and seem to want the customer to make the first move. Service time for food was around 30-45mons for a hotdog and burger, so don’t go here for something quick. Overall food is good and unique compared to other American themed places. Environment is fun and spacious. Staff will smile but won’t service you and food will take a long time to come out.

A very aussie version of a American burger bar. It seems only to be a pretty mess on the plate. Upon your first sloppy bite you find that the amazing flavor you have come to expect from a beautiful messy burger from the USA.. Is instead filled with Australian sweet subdued, and altogether forgetable flavor... Sadly the furggetaboutit burger helped me do just that.

Boy was I impressed with how this place actually exceeded my expectations. I got the farmhouse burger which has chicken, beef and brisket, pickles, egg, onion and mozzarella sticks all in one delicious burger. They should call it the hero burger because I was astounded! The chicken is really the leader here as it can be eaten on its own as a delicious juicy and well seasoned piece of meat. The beef was a smashed patty with melted american cheese. Super crispy and juicy. And dont even start me on the brisket. Would recommend every time. Only downer is that they give u these thin serviettes for mess that are like throwing a towel in the ocean. Went for a birthday dinner (group of 10) and as you can not book a table we had a 25 min wait to be seated, we had to sit at two different tables at first they were in different sections of the restaurant but they were able to move us to have two tables next to each other. We wish that they have a communal table so that this would not happen again. The food was great, burgers were cooked great, reasonable prices and reasonable service. Very busy on a Saturday night.

Ordered ribs and the portion was good for the price. The flavour was alright. The cleanliness of the place could be improved. The plastic plants next to tables are so dusty and dirty. I think the cleaning table procedure needs to be improved as not to spray chemicals straight to the table as it sprayed onto customer (me) at the next table. It should be sprayed onto the cloth to prevent spraying to customers.

Been here on a few occasions, it is my go to when I am with my friend group. Food is delicious and super fresh. Bar staff are always happy to assist and make off menu cocktails if they have the ingredents (love a lychee mojito!). The booths inside a perfect for groups and I have seen a few people having birthday parties in the outside seating areas!

Arrived, wanted to sit inside, the staff member tried to seat us outside but we insisted on inside, so we did. Waitress was coughing and crouching next to the table, very unprofessional, had a lack of knowledge to do with any alcohols they offered. Ceiling fans are fantastic and make you feel cool. The surfaces in the joint were reasonably clean, although from where we were seated, near the bar; I could see an array of cleaning products and dirty rags just lying around beside the bar. This is not a nice sight to see. Drinks came out first, then Burgers came out soon after. We were told the plates are stacked at the end of the table. 1 of the plates was dirty, and another one had water on it. A man walked past towards the kitchen with an empty trolley, few minutes later came back out, passed the table again with a pile of rubbish on his trolley, which was very unpleasant to see and smell while drinking/ eating. Burger (The Depot Burger) was good, chips were hot, but dry. Needed to drink a lot of water to counter the dryness of the chips. They tasted alright though. The serviettes at the table are handy, but also way too small and thin; had to use approximately 10 of them to get the burger sauce off my hands. The shop had nice decor and overall atmosphere besides the noted drawbacks. Above average for a burger joint but all the issues are easily fixable. I wouldn't recommend this place, but I also wouldn't say it is bad.

Food was excellent and quick, there were 7 in our group, we were attended to very quickly, staff have been well trained, everyone enjoyed their meal, I had the Nashville burger, it was a delight but make sure you like hot sauce. Brooklyn depot review The Brooklyn depot in south bank is a nice place with a chill atmosphere. They give you a lot of food, so it’s good value for money. The staff were happy, friendly and helpful. Everyone around us was having a good time, children and adults alike. They have good indoor and outdoor seating, although the outdoor seating may get a bit loud at certain times due to other businesses and adjacent customers. They have a large selection of good alcohol, including wine, beer and spirits. The only criticisms I have are that the chicken breast in the burgers are thick and hard to finish. Also their alcohol is a bit pricey, average bottled beer being $12 and average spirit being $12. That being said, they are an excellent establishment and are very deserving of your time and money.

The decorum is awesome, with a very warm city vibe, very cramped outdoors but spaced just enough that others won't be a problem. It's worth the visit if you're a fan of greasy street food done mostly right.

I give it a healthy average rating. When the brand changed from southside diner to brooklyn depot, the menu slowly changed over. Unfortunately it meant some favourites were either listed but were always told were not available, or were phased out conpletely. It's too small for southbank and is either packed or they close off half the seating and put me at the bar which is awkward for eating, so I favour takeaway or delivery. More often than not I get a call if there's an issue with my order. It's great to get a call about it but they alternatives suggested normally sneak by the fact that the original items were worth more. You have to be switched on about it because I was told they'd credit me through the payment service one time (they didn't) then just put the difference in the bag another time. The staff chop and change. When dining in they're friendly and lively but more with eachother than with patrons. On the flipside there's a manager or supervisor there that almost negs you for not drinking or for wanting takeaway With a group it's still tricky getting service. We made a joke about leaning out of the booth and calling TAXI! And hey, it worked. You'd think that by reserving a spot it would ensure attentive service. I love the food, but they have changed a lot and the menu seems to be shrinking. No Nashville burger (RIP sniff), no truffle mac n cheese, only fried macaroni balls and a seafood version I can't eat. No shakes, no cherry pie. I'm still a regular customer, but for this review I have to say it's dressed up but nothing flashy. It might be a staffing issue, a management issue, or ongoing challenges since they replaced Southside Diner. Don't be too expectant or disappointed. Still good for a start to the evening.

Good service, nice environment and very awesome food! I didn't like the fact of not being allowed to eat in the restaurant for bringing some food from another restaurant. Since we all were eating there it shouldn't had been a problem.

Friday night, South Bank precinct was pumping, got a table straight away, Staff introduced themselves, drinks and meal orders delivered in good time. We had a Filthy Pilgrim (Shunned the Bun) and an Outta Towner - delicious. Tried a beer from Boston, only so so but, overall glad we went. We went prior to a show at QPAC so being there by 6.30 probably helped. Thank-you Sandy and Lucas - wonderful attention.
