We had a pleasant evening here on a quiet Tues night and everything ran smoothly. We booked through The Fork, to take advantage of the 30% discount on food. But generally, apart from the discount, I would say that bookings aren’t necessary, as there are plenty of tables available both inside and outside. It being a balmy late summer eve, we chose to sit outdoors, which worked well for us. There were only a handful of other diners, some sitting inside, others sitting outside, and I found the ambience to be cool, casual and laid back. It was pleasant and relaxing to be sitting outdoors on a warm night. Park Rd is a fairly busy little restaurant precinct with numerous eateries on both sides of the road, so it has a lively and energetic vibe. DECOR: The decor at Cedars is stylish and elegant with classic wooden furniture, comfortable upholstered chairs, dark timber panels and good lighting throughout the venue. SERVICE: There were a bunch of Lebanese guys working here, and there were all super friendly, polite and helpful. Service was a pleasure. Our order was quickly taken and drinks and food came out at a steady clip and in the correct order. FOOD: Being just my wife and I, we stuck to a fairly simple ordering protocol. A corona for me and a glass of prosecco for my wife, followed by a fattoush salad for a starter ($15), two main meals and a shared dessert. The fattoush salad was beautifully prepared with lashings of lettuce, tomato and cucumber, smothered in a tangy lemon sauce and topped off with crispy croutons. A great way to start the meal. For my main course, I chose the Chicken Moussakhan ($28), which was an interesting dish with four portions of soft pita bread filled with succulent grilled chicken, onions, mixed nuts and served with yellow rice and a bowl of garlic and pomegranate sauce. My wife went for the chargrilled lamb skewers with spicy bread, rice and salad ($25). The meat was melt-in-your mouth tender and perfectly complemented by the fluffy yellow rice, roasted tomato, chilis and fresh salad. We both enjoyed our meals. To finish, what else, but our fav baklava ($10). Four pieces of pastry in a bird's nest configuration with mixed nuts in the middle and soaked in a sweet syrupy sauce. Perfect way to end the meal. TOILETS: There are clean and well provisioned toilets, inside the restaurant, with ample male and female cubicles. PARKING: Parking was a breeze in nearby Douglas Street, a short walk from the restaurants, but there are plenty of spaces in any of the nearby side streets, with no after hours or weekend restrictions. COST: After our 30% discount with our Fork booking, we paid $69 for the two drinks, a salad, two main meals and a shared dessert. That was decent value for money, given all the positives i.e. a super nice and comfy ambience, fast, friendly and efficient service and first rate food served in generous portions. Add to that clean and well stocked toilets and easy parking and you have all the ingredients for a relaxed and pleasant night out with fam or friends. I’m sure that we’ll be back soon.

Delicious food and great price. It was a special belly dance performance from a variety of schools. Unfortunately the music was far too loud. They need to invest in surround sound and not rely on one large PA inside the restaurant to project to the dancers outside of the restaurant. It definitely exceeded the legal db rating.

Good food but really slow service on Weekday afternoon. It wasn't overly busy but took about 30-40 mins for food to arrive - too long to wait for a lunch break. The slow service could be due to staff shortages industry-wide though so my experience may not reflect their normal service. Make sure you have enough time if you plan to eat at this restaurant.

When I heard this place has Knafeh I was already sold. This new restaurant has a great ambience about it. They offer sheesha and live bands on weekends. There was nothing wrong with their service and food came in a timely manner. Both Knafeh was amazing. Will be coming back with my family. Edit: Did end up going back with my family and these guys pick and choose who they want to be hospitable to. We got dumped in a corner and forgotten about, trying to get any staff members attention was a mission on its own. Won’t be back and prices for meals are quite steep.

Fabulous restaurant, an absolute MUST to go there. Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, bursting with flavours and hearty. Portions were very generous. When we first when there a waiter approached us and recommended what to eat, fantastic for 1st timers as you often don’t know what to order, he put together a complementing selection of food that was absolutely brilliant. 110% food + 110% service!!

Wonderful evening here. Helpful friendly staff suggested a banquet. $35 a head and most of us were full after the starters. The food is cooked fresh there, some Middle Eastern standards, some new, but most better than other places I have been to. Old style hospitality and good food. The Knafeh is Lebanese, I prefer the sweeter Jordanian version. The man was a huge stunning pie with beautiful tasting kebabs in it.

We celebrated my brother's birthday here and had a nice evening. We ordered the banquet and the they were very generous is serving portions. There was 8 of us and there was probably enough to feed 12. The food was delicious and the team were happy to sort out any issues we had (see below). Just one small feedback to the establishment... We had communicated dietary requirements when making the booking (some people were vegetarians) and the entrees, pastries, came out all together (on one plate) so we didn't know what was vegetarian and what had meat. We had to ask a staff member. It would be great to have meat and vegetarian dishes come out on seperate dishes. For our main meals, we got two large portions of meat dishes and had to ask one of the heads before it was sorted. It's like the dietary requirements were not communicated to the kitchen, or they weren't looked at by the kitchen staff during service.

Ordered a dish with lamb, veggies and some pickles... unfortunately the amount of vegetables and pickles was minimal ( received a half of cucumber pickle and few pieces of lettuce) so all meal was pretty dry ( basically I eat bread and meat 🙃). Meat wasn’t bad just really dry.

Ten of us had the most delicious lunch at Cedars yesterday. The food was delicious, very good value and plentiful. The staff were very obliging. I was introduced to Cedars by a family member who is of Lebanese descent and an excellent cook herself. It is her favourite Lebanese restaurant in Brisbane and I can see why. I will be back.

Best Lebanese restaurant in Brisbane. We were a group of 13 adult and one child, We had a $45.00PP banquette (more like a feast) food could have been enough to feed an extra 8 people. We also had four staff members serving us to make sure that every member in the group with their every different cuisine requirement (Vegetarians, Vegans and Gluten free, is met to their best ability. Everyone ended the night extremely satisfied with the food quality, quantity and most of all the very quick and pleasant services we got. . I am very disappointed by that GF person from our group, who wrote that sad and unnecessary review, Cedars restaurant nor their generous and kind staff deserve this, they were very accommodating our GF needs,. they went overboard to especially satisfy the GF person. Dear GF person, I assure you couldn't go anywhere in the whole of Australia or Lebanon and get this top quality or quantity of food for $45.00. Most people have had hard time for the last two years with COVID but especially our hospitality, give them a break. God has forgiven you surely you can do the same. The best lamb kebabs(square meat on a stick) I have ever had. Awesome service that are very friendly, however I would say the main reason it is visited is because of the shisha's. Shishas are pretty much non portable, flavoured vapes that are constantly used at the table while eating dinner.

As this is the only Lebanese restaurant I have ever been to, I can't compare it with other Lebanese places but thanks to Cedars I have now fallen in love with Lebanese food. I have not yet had a dish at Cedars that I haven't loved. I often get the owners to recommend dishes as I am unfamiliar with the options and I have never once been disappointed. The serving sizes are generous as well, I usually need to ask for a container to take the leftovers home. Because Cedars is so close to my home (5 minute walk) I am lucky to be able to enjoy this place many times a week, sometimes even a few times on the same day.

Cedars has dared to open its doors amidst a sad number of closures in the Park Road precinct. It’s arrival is most welcome as the food is delicious! Really delicious! The Lebanese menu is extensive and original and includes some of the tastiest dishes I’ve had from this cuisine. After a slow start where meals were slow to arrive, service times improved and the quality of the food was excellent. Go along to Cedars to ensure we don’t lose another good restaurant in Milton.

Came here for dinner and shisha on Saturday night. I was able to obtain a 930 pm booking and staff were very gracious and held the table as we were running a few min late due to traffic. We were seated outside as requested and ordered lahme bi’ajeen, as well as a cheese bread and mint lemonade. Food was made fresh to order and everything we had was delicious. Afterwards we decided on Knafeh, tea and double apple shisha. I ordered a cappuccino which was prepared to my liking. Overall wonderful experience, will definitely be returning for dinner. Service was good and the place was busy.

The food is beyond delicious. I highly recommend the lamb shawerma as it tastes like home and their breakfast (mana'ish) is very flavoursome ❤. The people who are running the restaurant are very nice and always welcoming and trying their best to accommodate everyone's needs. If you are a shisha head, I recommend going with the fresh head double apple. The cedars tea is also very unique and tasty.

The best Lebanese food in Brisbane. We ordered and went to Kangaroo point. We ordered Shawarma wrap the meat was perfectly cooked. We had fried stuffed Kebbi so juicy. Our favorite was the sambusek and Rkakat cheese perfect pastry and the fillings were perfectly balanced. We order fattoush and chips which was the also fresh and full of flavour. Great food and vibe, loved the menu specially the menu page “ Fresh from the oven “ which Man’oush Lebnah and Lahme. But there is some confusion with the meal in the menu and the Mezza menu is expensive! Normal Hummos you can buy it from any convenience store for $5 where they double the price as an example. However the one of the waiters rude! did not bring the water and the appetizer, they started ti bring and serve the other ppl give them their food before we had our!

The manager Zae has surprised me with a Bday music and a lovely sweet with a candle, soooo sweet and kind for him to do that. New to Brisbane staying for a work trip, ordered vegetarian options a cheese puff dish and vegetarian falafel dish. Was charged $10 for a soft drink and extra $5 for table water and sides. This wasn't explained to me at the time. Not something I'm use to in Melbourne. My falafel dish was worth returning for. I have since updated my review to a 4 star, only as the owner called me and listened to my options from the night. Every place/people need a second chance.

Literally the best Arab restaurant in Brisbane and in such a beautiful location!! The customer service is exceptional and the food just leaves you wanting more. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.

Food is average and similar to many other Lebanese / Arabic restaurants. What surprised me is a charge for table service where they give a bottle of water and some mixed nuts and called it table service charge and the reason given was that apparently all “5 star” Restaurants are not allowed to serve at the table due to covid. 😕 I thought brissy didn’t have any such Covid regulations 🤷🏼
