Very long wait time for our order. The curries we ordered were not cooked enough. Flavours & spice were all there, but most of the cauliflower in my aloo gobi were semi cooked, unfortunately ruining what could have been a good dish

Perfect place to eat!! Food is impeccable with the finest cuisine served by lovely staff. The chef in particular must be commended for the meal that was served to us, it was to die for..............you just cannot find better anywhere else. We were waited on by a beautiful young lady who had the most pleasant manners and made our evening even more enjoyable. Thank you for your excellent service and absolute divine authentic Indian food. Definitely lives upto the expectations. I went on my anniversary night in 2021 and had the time of my life! A night we would never forget. One year later I visited again for my father in law’s birthday dinner with a party of 7 and we had yet another great night. Exceptional cocktails and the food matched it. Everything was still up to par and he just loved the cricket theme of the inside of the restaurant. Perhaps this is the only place around that you get actual tandoor cooked naans. So scrumptious!! Let’s enjoy this 5 star restaurant !! ⭐️

Went as a family group and tried quite a few of the dishes - samosas, chicken, lamb, paneer to name a few - Portions are reasonable and food is sooooo flavoursome. Excellent customer service smiling and welcoming. We really enjoyed the food in the relaxed atmosphere of the cricket themed hall. Highly recommend the freshly cooked Naan breads which are rare to find these days. PS: The Indian table was very annoying. The poor girls had a difficult time. The place needs more publicity as the food is impeccable.

What a great restaurant!! We felt very welcome.Once seated, we were served by a friendly lady waiter. The service was subtle, knowledgeable and very kind. As we wanted to taste all the restaurant had to offer, we looked through online menu which had very original dish photos. All of the food made sense. Great fresh ingredients, fresh spices and a fantastic presentation. This Indian food is second to none. Balance is the major thing that stood out for me. Spicy food with great Naan breads. The restaurant has there own brand of elite wines which is matched well with the spicy curries and entrees. The kulfi with gulab jamun in dessert was one of the most awesome desserts that i have ever tasted. 10/10👌👌👌

The lady that greet me and sat me at my table was lovely and was very friendly and helpful for getting my order in quick. The food especially if your looking for a good Indian restaurant as a vegan is a 10/10. The tikka masala was full of flavour and delicious with the coconut rice. The garlic nann bread is one of the best I've had and fill of flavour. Definitely will be coming back to try the vegan korma. Thank you to the team at Eden Garden 🙂.

This was supposed to be a treat for us after a long and tiring trek, and this is self-explanatory how excited we were for our meal here. The interiors are done-up to remind you of a cricket (another Indian obsession) stadium in Kolkata. Our excitement after eating the chilly chicken had increased. Wow! Beautiful flavors coating cubes of very succulent and juicy chicken. But, what followed was a total disaster. Roghan Josh had died many deaths after tasting this one. Even though the meat was beautifully cooked, but, what killed it was Tomato? Tomato Ketchup? Sweetness? This was conveyed to the attendant.when she requested a feedback. Naan was nicely cooked, and no complains there. Portions are big, and pricing is inexpensive, and just for the sake of improving, which they can and will, we have tried to not be mean.

I've had Indian food many places around Australia and abroad and Eden Garden South Brisbane did well. If you are a cricket fan then you would definitely enjoy the ambience. I had butter chicken and butter nan. When I say butter nan, then I meant vey authentic naan with layers & layers of butter. The chicken was tender with smooth & silky sauce with a balance of sweetness. Another highlight was the fried fish. Evenly coated batter and crispy. I have not eaten fish like this in many years. So well done for that. Service was immaculate and staff was very friendly. I will be returning soon ! Give it a try you will not be disappointed

We were walking by this restaurant when the sticky notes on the wall piqued out interest. It looked amazing and the vibe was very positive so we decided to grab some dinner. We started with the chicken tikka and hara bara kebab, the flavours were so authentic and really embraced the flavours of India. After about 15 minutes the mains came through and we had butter chicken and the lamb saag. This was accompanied by some mouthwatering naans. The meal was delicious and the best Indian food in Brisbane. Would definitely definitely recommend.

We went to this meal as part of an anniversary celebration which when I booked, I requested a special table and mentioned the occasion. The restaurant is small but cozy. The decor is pretty, however due to the small size, it does seem like there's a constant flow of people passing our table and I'd prefer a more open space. We had the table for two hours. We ordered the Banquet menu (4 courses) which at glance $45pp seems rather expensive but it was well worth it and it proved great value for money. The staff were very attentive to when we finished each course. There was a small mistake where they brought out the wrong first course however they corrected themselves and gave the correct first course on the house. All the meat (tikka, seekh kebab and fish pakoda) were cooked to perfection - most succulent juicy pieces of meat I've ever eaten. When it came to the curry main, I did not expect the curries so big in size which made it well worth the value for money. (I'd recommend going on an empty stomach because you do get full and the time goes by really fast) The banquet menu was great to enjoy their signature dishes and you do end the meal feeling satisfied and happy. They even delivered a surprise dessert on the house to help us highlight our special occasion which was really sweet gesture.

I think I may have had too much of a high standard coming in to Eden Garden Indian. The reviews are all great and colourful in writing. Myself and my partner had a early evening dinner after work and had the Butter Chicken in Australian Mild and myself the Goat curry in Indian medium. The Butter chicken good. Not the best, nothing to write home about or to come back for. Was more sweet than medium spicy. I would try the Butter chicken again, though, to go Indian spicy, not Australian. The Goat curry was priced at a premium. The flavour was good, again, nothing to write home too. The amount of meat was well below what you expect as most of the weight is actually in the bone itself it is served up as. I would not recommend or try again. Service wise was very good. Wait staff were friendly and prompt. The venue itself has a lovely post it note wall with all the admirations of past customers which is a great site. However, I would not be inclined to leave such admirations with my personal take on the cuisine plated.

The best Indian food in Brisbane! They’re not like other Indian restaurants where you feel sick afterwards, Eden make perfect food, you can taste the love! The staff are so friendly you just want to hug them! Lovely! And their naan bread is heavenly, I normally don’t order it at other places, but here it’s incredible. This is the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane, perhaps just the best restaurant overall in Brisbane. All the curries are great but I would particularly recommend the kadhai paneer, or if you are into Dahl, the Dahl tadka. For desserts I would also highly recommend the gulab jamon. It was really very nice n great experience at Eden Garden Indian cuisine. I celebrated my baby shower function there n all my guests were very happy to have starters, main course and dessert. The main appeal of this place is that they have so many vegan and vegetarian choices. But for an Indian restaurant, that's not that special. The tastiness of the dishes is hit or miss depending on what you order. I've had some winners and some duds. I'd recommend the malai kofta. I would have given this place a higher score but it's just so expensive for what you get. $3 for rice? In the end, two people came to nearly $50. I guess it is West End though, so maybe I am just being cheap. 💁

Popped in here last night for a quick dinner, ended up having the banquet for 2, great value at $29.90 each which included an entree, 2 mains, rice, naan and 2 desserts. The quality and detail in the small things really made a difference, the coconut rice had toasted curry seeds, the naan had a decent amount of garlic and was toasted to perfection, the butter chicken and goat curries had a great balance of heat, texture and flavour. All in all, really delicious meal with good portion sizes for a hungry couple.

First time visitor, so only speaking from one experience, but I really enjoyed it! I work nearby so had a takeaway naan-witch and a side of matari (that might be a new addiction!) to take back to the office. It was really interesting and tasty! Very fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The place smelled AMAZING. Little bit of a wait doing a walk up and order, but I was comfortable in the air-con and water was offered which was lovely. There's also an online ordering option I might try next time. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes!

I have been to this place numerous times. Whenever I feel like eating GOOD and REAL North Indian tasting food, this is my go to place. The staff is friendly and you get Indian beers too ! Just 3 words...Amazing, Amazing and Amazing. Have known their taste from Yeronga and I saw an absolute bliss in my life walking through South Brisbane when my eyes read the signboard. Such an easy thing for people closer to city to be tasting the best Indian food in Brisbane. Tried this new place and same consistent quality food. Not easy to find such professional and customer oriented owners who go an extra length for that smile on eaters face. After moving to Brisbane, I invariably craved for perfect Indian cuisine and Eden garden has been on top notch since the inception. Their signature dishes like home style chicken curry, chicken Tikka masala and lamb Rogan josh is indeed wholesome. Hara bara kebab as a starter was delicious. My kids being cricket enthusiasts, adored the ambience of the restaurant. Service was excellent as well. The waiters were very attentive. A total 10/10, I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Yes, Methi Roti is available and we were so delighted to have it here. If you want it, please make a booking in advance so the Chef can prepare it specially for you. If you do not specify, GF naan bread may not be available. The curries are non-greasy, not too-salty, not too-sugary. All in all, one of the best Indian restaurant! Keep it up!! Slightly disappointed with a couple of aspects those being: - entrees coming out at different times (where some had finished by the time next lot came out) which isn’t that enjoyable in a small group - the main Issue was when we went to pay they required only one bill. this was a bit of a surprise (they did have a sign at the till), but struggled to see why one bill was needed, and in this day what sort of business applies this policy?? Where do I start? Moving from Melbourne where Indian food is both cheap and tasty, I had given up hopes after eating at 6 top rated restaurants in all corners of Brisbane. Food is no where near Indian food. Someone was even selling British Indian?? For heavens sake, India is celebrating 70th year of independence this year and Brisbane is still having a British Indian restaurant. Anyways strolling around at west end I was greeted kindly by a lovely girl inviting to try the food. The simplicity and different look of the restaurant got me attracted. Never seen someone having cricket as the restaurant theme. I got seated and ordered a cocktail named late cut. You got to believe me when I say that this was a cocktail with top notch flavours. And all authentic Indian flavours in it. I got comfortable and then ordered butter chicken on bone and butter naan. This was the kind of food I was looking for and that's what I call as restaurant quality Indian. The heat which I ordered was just perfect. There menu is huge and I will keep coming. Great service too. Keep up the good work guys. You have a repeat customer here.

Westend has always been a hub of good food. I am a regular visitor to westend and love the area and its liveliness. Yesterday we happened to come across this new indian restaurant here on melbourne st and i thought of helping these guys by sharing my wonderful experience. The cricket on the wall attracted my husband as he is a cricket freak. We were given a warm welcome followed by water on the table and menus were provided very quickly. The staff was very curteous and happy to provide recommendations. We got an entree of Badami Tikki which was so full of flavours that we were now looking forward to our mains. On manager's recommendation we ordered Butter Chicken and the Lamb Nihari. We also added the chilli naan to it and the coconut rice. The lamb Nihari was a Lamb shank and meat was just falling off the bone.The curry was divine. But butter chicken was the top highlight. I must say that you will not find such Indian style Butter Chicken in Brisbane. No sweet, Just flavours and smooth gravy. The coconut rice was cooked in curry leaves. Love it totally. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.

Eden garden was an awesome and unique experience. Not only does the owner/manager cater for individual tastes wit the right mix of spice, he also makes an effort in introducing people to delicacies that you wouldn't otherwise find in most Indian restaurants. I was impressed by the service and their welcoming nature - especially to people with families and children. All food is great - but make sure you try Zafrani Malai Tikka and Goat curry. I stumbled upon this hidden gem on my trip to Brisbane. Since I have been travelling for last couple of months, I have been craving good Indian food more so missing home made Indian food. So when I saw Indian cusine, I just went in to try the food thinking it will be just another glorified "authentic" Indian food. Well, couldn't have been more wrong. It was DELICIOUS. More so, super close to home made Indian food. Broccoli florets baked in clay oven were to die for. The taste was not only outstanding but had great savoury flavours that linger on your pallet for a long time. The mains were just as Amazing. The presentation was great, the food was great, the service was great and the prices for the taste soooo reasonable. Oh and lest I forget the Indian dessert KULFI was Outstanding! Do yourself a favour and try the Badami Tikki (potato based morsel scattered with almonds for crunch and texture) and Hara Bara Kebab as starters before getting stuck into their main menu offerings. It is rare enough to find authentic Indian flavours in Brisbane, but these guys also do a terrific job of catering to vegetarians, vegans and those with a gluten intolerance. Give the Missi Roti (with chilli!) a whirl if you're keen to try a chickpea variation on roti. You'll always be served with a friendly, genuine, smile so why not check these guys out the next time you're looking for some decent Indian food in South Brisbane/West End. Good luck trying to find room for dessert.
