Excellent and very authentic food and service. The place gives you a great Persian feel with all its beautiful display and ornate pieces. The music was also soothing giving you a great vibe. Chef Ali’s food is highly recommended and very delicious. The seven flavoured pot tea is awesome and a personal favourite of mine. Ali recommendation of Baklava for us swooshed us off our feet. Ali and his team also managed to prepare us orange flavoured Shisha despite his extra busy schedule and shortage of staff. Highly recommend this place for something new and unique. Definitely visiting Farah again with my friends during one of the weekends to witness the dances as promised by Ali. Thank you Ali and team for the wonderful evening.

Farah Restaurant!!! THANK YOU!!! for restoring my confidence in Persian food in Queensland. The food was amazing did not take long was cooked properly we got all we wanted and even my 3-year-olds needs were met. The Kebab was Fresh juicy and just break in your mouth delicious The Gourmeh Sabzi was tender tasty and what made it work was they did not loose the quality of the food it was the right temperature even the freshly cooked fries for my daughter was perfect I wanted to eat it as well. If you are in Brisbane City this is place to go. Make sure you call and make a booking they are always busy for good reason. QQ= Quality and Quantity= 100% Perfect service!!!

Very beautiful restaurant. Server is friendly. We ordered lamb shank with dill rice. The shank is very juicy and tender. The shislik, with 4pcs of lamb skewers came with a mixed of saffron and white rice. Very moist lamb with spices. There's few parking space near the restaurant, which is by the roadside. Highly recommend this place. Worth my trip from Singapore.

Ok, so I'm from Alice Springs where the Cafe and restaurant people try very hard, but this we do not have. Granted I was very hungry, but oh gosh the food was great, almost as good as the service. Top marks to all involved, will definitely try to get back at some point. I took a photo of my entree, an eggplant based dip, it disappeared quickly, the main course went down even faster and I didn't think to get a photo. Thank you! You were awesome.

This is the best and possibly the only Persian restaurant in Brisbane. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in Brisbane but there are a few small touches that could make the place on paar with Persian restaurants in iran. - the koubide was a little too dry, with not enough onions. I could still feel the taste of lamb a little. - grilled tomato was small and not enough. just add one more ;) - no butter served with rice. Usually rice is served with extra butter for real Persian rice fans. - staff were super nice, but a little unprofessional. I had to move the platesmy self and take the food plate from the other side of table. Again these are all small touches, but it would make a great difference.

Farah is a Persian restaurant but the head chef is from Iran so the taste of the dish would be more Iranian. This is my first time to the restaurant so I wanted to try everything and with the friendly waitress’s recommendations, I have ordered the King’s platter. And it was absolutely amazing, the lamb and chicken was perfectly marinated and cook to the perfection. It was juicy with every bites. I used to think Brazilian has mastered the art of Bbq meat but let me tell you, once you have try Iranian way of cooking meat, the Iranian will always win. Overall, it was a great dinning experience, I would give it a 6 stars if google allows it.

Beautifully themed Persian Restaurant. There is an outdoor seating available. Flavoursome dips with Lebanese bread for our starters.For main we had the mixed grill with garden salad and crunchy chips. The tender succulent pieces a mixture of lamb, beef and chicken were nicely marinated and full over flavour. We had the Seven flavours of Middle Eastern tea had beautiful aroma and so nicely flavour. For dessert this dessert definitely took us on a journey to Persia. We had the Fadouleh with Persian Ice cream. Beautiful mixture of pistachios, cardamom , lemon and rose water. We organised the Christmas party of our team in Farah. We were 25 people and from the beginning Ali and the team were very accommodating and worried to cater for all needs (vegan, halal, vegetarian). Located across a huge park but also only 5 minutes away from the city center it is well decorated and operated authentic Iranian restaurant. The interior is well with comfortable, calling athmosphere. The crew did a very good and professional job! My food was fresh and delicious! We've dined in Farah twice and found it surprisingly up to our high expectations. Unlike numerous other Persian restaurants in Brisbane and Gold Coast area, Farah remains true to the calling of Persian cuisine, quality, portion size, and hospitality. No imitation dishes, no recipes are adulterated to suit western palate, and above all no favor is too much to ask from the owners and the well-trained and patient servers. Farah cannot obviously outcompete places like Shandiz and Navid in Iran. But given the circumstances, they are pulling off quite a feat. I tried Barg Kebab this time around. It was juicy, tender, and literally melt in my mouth. Zeytoun Parvardeh was also fresh, well-rounded, and drizzled with a generous amount of pomegranate syrup.

We tried Farah for Sunday dinner since it was close to our hotel. We were promptly seated outside to enjoy the mild evening with views to the park land The drinks were cheap e.g. Fat Yak Pale Ale $7.50. The only beer more expensive was the White Rabbit Dark Ale at $9 Our small Mirza Ghasemi [$9] was tasty with the expected smoky overtones We then shared a Lamb Shank & Sabzi Polo [$29]. The slow-cooked meat fell easily from the bone, going well with the generous amount of rice. Unfortunately the small bowl of "jus" on the main plate looked and tasted like the fat from the cooked shank and was inedible. My photo was after we'd taken our first taste of the dish - showing the liquid fat on the "jus" bowl

They didn't have Opihr Gin which is listed on their top shelf spirits menu. They didn't have ginger ale which is a basic mixer. They didn't have the signature "Persian" olive dish listed on their menu. They didn't have the signature "Persian" date dish listed on their menu. The service was friendly and apologetic as the wait staff unfortunately didn't have a good command of English. I honestly felt for her as she struggled. It was difficult but we got there in the end. I found the food good value and the lamb shank was delicious. It was so tender, it literally fell off the bone. I'd definitely dine at Farah again when visiting Brisbane by myself but I'd be too embarrassed to take guests again. My cousin was becoming impatient and wanted to leave but in the end, I'm glad we stayed.

Ok, I’m blown away by the food here, I thought I had sorted the best Turkish / middle eastern restaurants around Brisbane and was a bit sceptical when my friends got me to Farah’s, I had never been here, never heard of this restaurant tucked away in Spring Hill. Always wanted to visit this restaurant but the location makes me to change my mind as it’s located in the city which is very hard to find a spot for parking. Today we decided to go, had a perfect parking spot just front of the restaurant. Ordered two different Persian traditional plate, didn’t take long to get them on the table despite other Iranian restaurants. The foods are simply amazing the owner walks to the tables asking if everything ok or need something. We have been going to farah restaurant since before they moved to their new location and I always recommended their restaurant to my friends at work because I was sure about their customer service and food quality also any time we want to have a get together we usually go there booking a table for more than 10 people. unfortunately recently their customer service is very poor, the way the owner and the waitresses react is sometimes very rude and they kind of look frustrated with you which is not what you want to feel when you're dining out. The prices is now way higher than it used to be which I don't mind paying for because their food quality is still good ( not the same but good ) but the bad customer service is making it not worth it. I respect and love what they've done so far so I'm not going to give them a bad rating but they should really pay more attention on their body language and how they treat their regular customers.

The best Persian between Brisbane and Gold Coast Area I visited this place twice. You will rarely find Persian food out of Persia with the same taste. The koobedah is excellent and is a must try, and the rice is the best. However, they don't have the warm bread, if they are able to do that that will make it perfect. The first time I visited the service was very slow and took them an hour to get the lunch. After a week I visited for dinner and the service was fast. No complaints on waiting for the food. They can slightly improve on the must o khyar. Other then that 5 out 5.

Friends chicken they ordered was quite nice. It was a Sunday night and was fairly busy, we had a booking and had to wait quite awhile for them to get a table ready for us, unfortunately our table wasnt set up properly with no cutlery which I had to fetch someone to get for us so we could eat. Staff were very nice about it though and had us sit at a very nice seating area while they prepped for us.
