We came from Sunnybank just to check the place and it not disappoint! Great food, good portion and affordable price! And the service was amazing! We had a lasagna and the risotto. I was so happy that they made the risotto vegetarian under request, even though it wasn't on the menu. Would definitely come back!

Easy access to the restaurant, prompt, friendly service. Would definitely come back. Funny thing was that the person there said they were Italian but didn't seem to understand a word I was saying (in Italian). No matter as the pizza was delicious!

Had not eaten at an Italian restaurant for years and years. And to find this nestled little place in Heathwood did not disappoint me in what I was seeking. Bookings are preferred but was pleased to snag a table in short time with a quick phone call. The staff were very friendly, from the waitresses serving front end, to the people in the kitchen. Food was prepared quite quick and with generous serves, couple with good quality and taste. Aside from this eat in experience, I also ordered a takeaway order on separate occasion. Again the portion size of the Spaghetti Bolognese I got was quite large and quality was so good. I based the rating on my experience here. The price is typical restaurant but I was prepared for that. The service and quality (even quantity in part) and general feeling expert afterwards is what I'm basing this on.

We are regular guests at Gallino Pizza and we absolutely LOVE the inhouse, homemade Italian pasta (mama style) 🙂 But today we just had the most exquisite taste of good old European flavours. My boys absolutely loved the very unique, old Macedonian "Pastrmajlija" dish, from a town called Štip. FANTASTIC experience for our taste buds! Keep in mind that you have to order this dish one day in advance - it needs special preparation.

We loved the Fettuccine Alfredo and Risotto that we ordered. Paul and Natasha were happy to customise it for us as we are vegetarians and were also happy to accommodate any other requests. The food was delicious and the portions large. Definitely ordering again.

What am amazing gem of a place, food here is amazing, takeaway or dine in, i've never had take away steaks that is still medium rare as i asked for. Heard about this Italian restaurant on my Facebook community page. Nothing but great reviews so of course we had to go and check it out. So very glad we did. The restaurant itself is very casual, but the food is fantastic! They even serve Cocktails 🙂 The hosts were very nice, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back.

OMG ! This pizzaria place is to die for. Genuine beautiful Italian flavours, great menu, and just up the road. Rather frustrated with the price increase. Was already a fairly high price for the pizza size. 🍕 And the menu from in-store doesn't reflect that price increase. So I drop the review from 5 to 3.5.

We recently moved out to Doolandella and this was the first restaurant we tried. We had spent the weekend moving so decided to treat ourselves and we were not disappointed! We ordered a garlic & cheese pizza , penne pasta and fettuccine and it was all delicious. We had enough leftovers for another meal or two at least so portions are super generous. Can't wait to come and try out some other stuff on the menu. Will be returning! Thank you.

OMG!!! A first timer at this place but won't be a last! Food was amazing not to mention huge servings! Staff pretty friendly. Would have scored a 5 but would suggest more tomato based dishes and less cream ones. Apart from that.....absolutely yummy!!

This nondescript restaurant hiding away in Heathwood close to the Logan Motorway has a truly amazing and laid back ambience.And coupled with the large hearted servings, excellent food quality and friendly staff is something to be experienced. Surely goes into my list of favourites.

Probably the best Italian food within the south-western corner of Brissy. Honest, trattoria-style cooking but done so well it will make your mouth water. Pizzas are huge, and servings of everything else generous enough to feed 2 medium-sized adults each. And well-priced to boot. Try the veal scallopini, and the homemade tortellini 🤤🤤

Ordered through Uber Eats. Risotto was freshly made and served hot. The sundried tomatoes surprised me, it was a great addition of flavour. The risotto was NOT gluggy which is great. For the price, it was above average for 2 people. Definitely something you would buy at a restaurant. Garlic pizza bread was creatively designed and tasted incredible. There was a plentiful amount of garlic on it. Delivery through Uber Eats was super fast and the price overall was actually a good deal. Definitely would recommend these guys if you are looking for great quality itialian food.

Back again and again I love it, for those who look at negative comments, steer clear of them, priced well for the quality of food, I cant praise the owner paul enough family owned and operated from what I can see. If you believe Dominos and Pizza Hut are better you have the taste buds of a 4 year old get your wife to cook you some fish fingers. Highly recommend this pizza shop!

Went there at a busy time. We were seated immediately. Although we did ask to move as our table was next to the counter and we were getting a lot of ass at eye face height lol. Service was quick, food came out at a decent pace. I thought my spaghetti Cabonara, the pasta was a little overcooked, and i thought the sauce was bland. HOWEVER, everything else we ordered was excellent. For the price, and portion size I will be back, maybe for something different though. Good work guys.

Great service and lovely food. The korma was exactly like the korma my Indian neighbours cook from scratch, the naan was perfect, and the masala chai, while a tad heavy on the cardamom and pepper, was the perfect accompaniment. Little bit pricy, but rice and soft drink was free.

What a great restaurant friendly staff quick service, I had the Penne Alla Gallino which was a good size portion the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My friends wife had the Tortellini Alla Panna and he had the Risotto di Pollo which they both enjoyed very much both portion size were of a good size. We also had garlic bread with cheese there could of been more garlic but still we still enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
