I would like to shout out to the excellent employees Goldfinch Cafe/ Restaurant-Brisbane has.... They are team of approximately 03/04 on the floor and others are running their great performance from the back door. All of the staff members are supremely professional with great customer services skill. They will be seen roaming around for whatever time you will be there... i was there everyday for atleast 02 hours plus and I could see them approaching every table with immense positivity and they will ensure to keep your table clear by removing the used plates. They will approach you for beverages to ensure you are satisfied. The food quality is good and choices of the breakfast buffet has great varieties.. I am impressed by their performance...

A very short walk from our Royal Albert accommodation but just far enough away from the huge queues for Sunday morning breakfast was the Goldfinch. If you're trying to fix a very sore head from the night before then the buffet breakfast here is amazing. We were seated quickly with some shuffling of tables for us not a hassle at all for these beautiful ladies! Very efficient staff and a fine barista made for an excellent start to another big day in Australia's best city.

Review update. Menu change. All dishes were great but the pork rib eye and peri peri chicken was stupendous. Overall better than the last menu, but I do miss the Portuguese Rice with king prawns in the last menu.

Not bad, the interior is bright and lovely. I asked for a flat white and it had a lot of foam. There was no suger on the tables for our coffees and the wait staff ignored us when we were trying to ask for some. The food was good though!

Ordered some chicken skewers off the “share” section of the menu, and they were so small they were unsharable. The pizza base tasted like it was store bought from coles, and we left half due to the poor quality. The fattoush salad was basically a garden salad with some fried bread, there was no flavour or dressing. Overall the food was average as best, and the service was about the same. I expected a lot more from a hotel restaurant.

Thought the overall experience was quite pleasant. Just went there for a quick light meal. We ordered the chicken snitzel and lamb cutlets. Snitzel was cooked well and good flavour. Lamb cutlets were over done. The waitress Vlada was soo nice.

I love the food, the friendly staff and the open airy restaurant. It's well placed in the middle of the city, and is great for a coffee with friends or a meal.

The restaurant is really pretty and welcoming visually. Both of us had the chicken schnitzel, chips and salad. It looked overcooked when it was served which we mentioned to the waitress. She offered to speak to the chef if it wasn’t satisfactory when we tasted it. We decided it was good enough, but I’ve had much better for less cost. We enjoyed our wine which was reasonably priced and finished with a coffee. On a public holiday, when there weren’t many other options for lunch in the city, it was a cool and pleasant place to eat, but don’t go if you’re looking for a high standard of food.

Had the breakfast buffet here while staying at the Pullman on business. Nice decor and great selection of fresh food. Staff friendly and ensured everything was to satisfaction without being overbearing which is great on those early morning business starts. Great coffee too! We booked a baby shower lunch at Goldfinch recently. The restaurant is open, airy and absolutely beautiful. It made for some really lovely photos. We had a large group and ordered a number of side plates to share. The food was amazing. Everything arrived together and was absolutely delicious. A highlight of our visit was the service. The wait staff were helpful and attentive. They really looked after us, especially Natalie, she was awesome. It’s not easy hosting a group of 20 people, but everyone in our group had a great time. We would highly recommend. We will definately be back again.

Visited this place twice for a sit down coffee/ tea during business hours. This review is only for the small outdoor seating area for the coffee shop. Coffee was great, prices a standard and they do offer a discount for BYO coffee. The outdoor seating area is small, but very lovely and clean, plus great views of the city buzz around you. I would recommend this place and will be going back. The also offer delicious looking pastries and snacks in the small fridge up front.

Ate at the Goldfinch Sunday night and had the most beautiful meal and excellent service from Tatiana. I could not fault the meal I had. The only thing I can criticise about the restaurant is that the chairs are very uncomfortable. Overall, I had a great night and thank you so much to Tatiana for your helpful service. You made my night, especially with your sense of humor and friendly nature. She was very informative about the menu as well.

What can I say, the overall experience was amazing! The food was top notch with great portion sizes and flavours and the price, for what you get, is very reasonable. Amen for GoldFinch! Before this great place opened, options were few and far between for those of us working in the area. The coffee is great at GoldFinch - it’s consistent and I’ve never been let down. The food is sooooo good - whether you want to grab something from the cabinet and take away or order something and sit in, it all tastes fantastic. The decor is happy and vibrant and the atmosphere is laid back - a great place to take some time out from the busy work day. The staff are lovely too and service is fast.

If you're an office flop wanting to reward yourself for your early morning run that makes you better than everyone else, let this cafe be your regular. I played it safe and went for the ‘eggs your way' and I am convinced that God himself scrambled the eggs I was served. My eagerly awaited breakfast came out quicker than lil Nas X when he realised his music career had died. Don’t be off put by the staff’s rustic wedding attire, this simple pleasure won’t break the bank. This cafe wants to treat you like an evening spoon after a long day, just what the doctor ordered. It is clear that the bad reviews for this place are irrelevant as the people that wrote them can’t put a coherent sentence together 👀.
