Comments of Harajuku Gyoza Albert Lane
A. R.
I came for Omurice pop-up which ended today (23rd). Well worth it and was absolutely delicious. Was pretty busy though and my order got overlooked (people who ordered after me got their meals first) until i made them aware. Apart from this was a good experience overall.
T. D. W.
Nice friendly staff 🙂 food was really nice they had some different styles of gyoza. Good range of drinks. If you like dumplings come give this place a shot. Drinks are$$ only downside.
C.
Absolutely love Harajuku Gyoza; the staff, atmosphere and food is usually always awesome. I did have an unfortunate experience trying the Takoyaki Gyoza today. It was drowning in Dried Bonito Fish flakes which created a strong unpleasant seafood smell. There also doesn't seem to be baby octopus inside the dumplings which is usual in Takoyaki.
Complaints about the dish above aside, will be back :)
T. Y.
Quick service even when it's packed, the Gyoza themselves are addictive (the mozzarella Gyoza was surprisingly good!), and relatively well priced.
Interesting interior design. Very nostalgic.
Some designs on the plates are rather scary though, but I guess that's just a part of the fun. "Look at the plate I got!" kind of thing.
R. C.
Tried the omurice pop-up, very unique experience and worth booking. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was very clean and followed covid protocols by keeping diners seperate. Food came out 20mins after ordering, before your omelette is made one of the staff members informs you to go up and watch your omelette being made. The omelette was smooth like butter, very velvety and soft in texture. Rice was a bit salty, felt very thirsty afterwards. Would have been nice if diners were served a complimentary glass of water like most Japanese restaurants. The omelette rice was nice but pricey at $22. Worth trying though.

Tasty meals, fresh and fast! The Miso soup is wonderful and all of the Gyoza’s we had were delicious!
J. H.
Very friendly staff and fast service. Good atmosphere. The gyoza’s were nice but not amazing, but also very fairly priced so definitely not complaining. I’d happily come back here for a quick meal and a drink. Very casual setting, and I’d highly recommend to try out if you are craving some gyoza. We had the pork, vegetable and duck - duck was by far the tastiest, followed by the vegetable.
M. D. J.
I really love Pale Ale here it’s so refreshing and a smell of fruity after taste is great. On top of that staff here is super friendly and really helpful their energetic make my day. Highly recommended 😆
F. P.
It was good, the portion is small, but considering that it is in the center of the city, I think it is ok. Kind attention of the employees. If you are passing through and want to try something a little more elaborate than fast food and sushi, I recommend it.
M. F.
Went there on a Thursday night, had four of the best gyoza I've ever had. And to top it all off the waiter was super happy and nice. Definitely going back again.
N. M.
Not local but second time visiting. Sensational. Had the gyzora and chicken teriyaki. It was so good we ordered a second round. Service slightly slow but they were flat out, not a criticism. Overheard surrounding tables also talk about the quality of the food. Third visit, will be the first place we come back to.
D. B.
Very friendly staff. Came here for the special pop up event Omu Rice.
J. K.
Love this place, visited in 2018 and went there like 20 times in just one week! The staff are really nice and the food is absolutely amazing! Couldn’t wait to come back here now in 2021 from NZ and glad to see that the food is just as good as I remembered! Only complaint would be the phone ordering system can be a bit confusing, but the staff helped us out by giving us a tablet! ありがとうございます, will be coming back!!
M.
The gyoza 🥟 selection at the Harajuku restaurants are a must try. They go beyond the run of the mill pork and vegetable gyozas with creative selections like pork belly, apple, duck etc. Everything we ordered was delicious and interesting flavours. Portion sizes are typical of Japanese restaurants where the focus is on quality and not quantity. Service was quick but we did feel a little rushed. Perhaps we came by during peak hour? Regardless, it didn’t dampen our evening and we were just as happy to head off into town to see the sights. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Pricing was on the high end but it’s reflected in the food quality ingredients used. We’ll definitely be back again!

Gyoza is great, just go with empty stomach and try to take other friends with you, then there's more chance to try different Gyoza.
Miso soup was also good. But, I didn't like the
Raindrop Cake.
Do not expect too much from the staff as they're very young and not enough experience.
The place is also clean with good vibes.
Enjoy your food
L. M.
Loved it, lovely staff, fun atmosphere, great food and Asahi yay.
R. S.
I love the ambient atmosphere of the restaurant. With a combination of traditional and contemporary art work, it really makes you feel like you are in japan.
The food we ordered was vegetable gyoza with vegan agedashi tofu. On the outside the gyoza was burnt and with very soft skin (soggy), but taste great. The texture of the tofu was very crunchy yet soft, but the flavoring was too sweet and way too oily.

Friendly, attentive staff. Great food and nice ambience to this place. We had Duck Gyoza, Chicken Teriyaki Don and Tebasaki Peppered Chicken Wings. I also tried the ‘in-house’ pale ale. Very nice!
S. B.
Came here years ago and loved it. I am pleased to tell you, it is even better than I remembered.
A relaxed bar atmosphere, cooking dumplings to perfection, served, and bring served by diligent and enthusiastic staff.
They also have an app now, with specials and weekly offers you can claim through the app, and staff were helpful in setting it up. They had already applied the day's offer when I used the app to pay for my meal.
Very good experience..
M. K.
Their open gyoza it just amazing and unique. Love their eggplant dish, it is just yummy. Their raindrop dessert is also very Japanese traditional too. Esp. Love their decorations in the restaurant, I feel like I am in Japan.
P.
Colourful and playful dumpling restaurant. Dumplings are hit and miss on flavour and are also rather expensive. Good variety of srinks including Japanese alcohol.
C. V.
I loved this place it was awesome. The grilled pork ones were my favourite. The chicken and lemongrass ones were beautiful very tasty also. The chicken katsu curry was very nice it had good flavor and the chicken was very tender. The waitress was polite and friendly.
P. S.
It’s become almost my “go-to” for Dumplings in Brisbane. We often now make it a family affair. Hidden down Albert Lane behind JBHIFI, you will be welcomed with ”Irasshaimase” which is a Japanese welcome.
All the food is light and delicious, the drinks menu is small but perfect for whatever you might be craving.
The decor is fun and eclectic which matches the overall feel of the place. I found the new digital menu and ordering system difficult to navigate at first, but the staff are always happy to help.
I recommend list of share plates... get some friends together and go here for dumplings!
Highly recommended.
J. R.
Loved it. We ordered two Sirman Banquet,a selection of Gyoza and side dishes. It was amazing. We had so much food that we had to take away. Great value. We downloaded the app to have $10 of discount on the total bill, eventually we paid $29 each. (No drinks) Staff really friendly and kind. I will definitely come back.
C. B.
We really enjoyed our meal here tonight. The atmosphere was fun, the staff were really friendly and the service was good.
We tried out the cheeseburger gyoza and the chicken katsu curry. Both were really good. We also had the raindrop cake, it was a unique experience (I'd say after trying it, probably not my thing. But it wasn't bad).
Not the cheapest place to eat, but good quality. I'd recommend trying this place at least once!
B. M.
update: 2020-02
The quality seems to have dropped, the white vinegar tastes like it’s been watered down, with a lot of water. If I didn’t know it was meant to be vinegar I wouldn’t identify it as being vinegar.
Sizes seem smaller, but you’re talking about the difference of half a teaspoon, so can’t be certain.
Music and environment are still good. It’s an alright place now, no longer on my 5star list though.
Date: 2018-11
It's like finding a hidden gem! Loved the Chicken Katsu Curry, filling and delicious. Calm environment where you can watch your food being prepared (mostly). Interesting music (not bad, not great either) just right for the environment. Well worth it, I'll be back for sure :)
V. Z.
The raindrop cake was so cute.
D. M.
Compared to the other dumpling restaurants, this one takes the cake! Weather it be the freshly made wonton or the ceiling made from hundreds of plastic sci-fi warriors - this is a cool and funky space. Service is pleasant and prices are good; however, despite being nice, they're not the most amazing dumplings I've ever eaten hence the 4 stars.
R. M.
Great service, interesting dacoré. The gyoza's are good but not exceprional. The japanese craft beer was nice. The igadashi tofu was nice too.
R. M.
These gyoza's were sooooo good! I was particularly impressed with the cheeseburger gyoza, it sounded so interesting and tasted like a cheeseburger. The other gyozas were also so delicious, I could easily eat 20 of these things! 10/10 would recommend!
E. S.
Helpful staff, stylish interior and all in all the service was really quick.
We tried quite some different gyozas and all of them were freshly made and tasty.
I was pleasantly surprised by the cheeseburger gyozas, this kind of fusion was new to me but it turned out to be a very well made concept.
If l lived close by this could easily become my go to spot for a gyoza lunch.
M. A.
Staff are always helpful and welcome to us here.We tried new dessert "Lemon Meringue"was really good.
Kids loved cheaseburger gyoza and Chiken Karaage which Emmy-san recommended;)Thanks a lot;)
P.
Great service here, really great actually!! Food too was awesome, along with pale ale beer!! Don't order soft drink here... it is out of a two liter bottle and served up in a glass and is nearly always flat. Soft drink here is way over priced and such poor quality, so too the sparkling mineral water, just no sparkles. Been here a couple of ties now, same old story with soft drinks. Stick to the beer!!
A. B.
Such a pleasant experience!! We were greeted by warm, friendly and very helpful staff. It was a happy hour visit, and we got the fried chicken wings free with our drinks. They were out of this world!! The gyoza was superb! It was my first time to try open gyoza and couldn't have enough! We finished off with the famous raindrop cake, and we were in heaven! The place got pretty cool decor: Ultraman lights! Hope to come back for another visit...
N. H.
Wow - amazing gyoza well prepared and served by really friendly staff. The general atmosphere is awesome - had the j-pop pumping too!
S. C.
Ordered the karage curry bowl and the chicken lemongrass grilled gyoza. The curry bowl was nice but the gyoza felt like it was undercooked.
F. D. D.
Really fast and really good gyozas. Place warm and welcoming. Staff so nice and so good food. 5 stars
K. V.
Pictured are the Duck Gyoza. I would've liked if they had listed the main ingredients on their menu, because I love duck but hate ginger, and the taste of the ginger in the goyza made it inedible for me. However the friends I were with enjoyed them. I ended up ordering the Cheeseburger Gyoza, which tasted surpringly like a Maccas cheeseburger and was very enjoyable. Overall a very positive experience.
W. S.
Really nice to try bits and pieces of small menu items that were really tasty. Love their cabbage salad with roasted sesame dressing. Lemongrass chicken gyoza is lovely as Well s the hamburger one with mustard andketcup on top. Their edamame was perfect
k. s.
Amazing food with great veggie options. We ordered vegetable gyoza and foot long fries which were absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. Very nice decor and great service.
A. L.
Found it to be a little overpriced for the quantity of food in each serving. Quality was pretty good but not exceptional.
K. C.
We walked pass there and want to try gyoza. Staff recommended us to have banquet that because we were starving. Plenty and nice foods in that banquet. Recommended!! also staff very nice and helpful.
C. C.
Have heard a lot about this restaurant before and thought I could give it a try. I’ve ordered spicy duck gyoza, the sauce is nice, it tastes a bit like peiking duck sauce. I can’t taste chilli or vinegar from the gyoza, they are still quite nice but probably a bit overpriced:
J. C.
Simply excellent- food, service decor.
Don't rush - Enjoy!
H. S.
Awesome food. Excellent friendly service. Cheese burger dumplings are Amazing.
S. C.
Uniquely kawaii atmosphere, which is a big draw card.
Gyoza are underwhelming, edamame and fries are only mediocre (where's the salt? All in one spot if you're lucky to get any).
Espresso martini is palatable but way overpriced at $16 for the presentation.
Overall it's a fun place for groups, and fulfilling, but for quality or tasty Japanese food look elsewhere.
M. N.
Gyoza was so delicious and our teapot drink was perfectly sweet & sour! Awesome staff and great vibe.
S. V.
Lovely atmosphere. Cheeseburger gyozas were yummy! Good service and centrally located
K. K.
Friendly service but the menu isn't overly inspiring and it's quite expensive for dumplings!
G.
Great food, cold beer , friendly staff. Only thing I don't like is you have to order through an app on your phone - prefer the option to pay on the way out or at the time of ordering
G.
delicious food and great atmosphere, definitely worth a visit!
A. F.
Interesting and unique menu. Good special deals, tasty Gyoza.
J. R.
Fancy gyoza
Original pork very delicious
M. L.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good price and good quality food. Always enjoy it here! My friends and I come by every few weeks and have never had a bad visit.
Y. B.
Love the food..reasonable price...and love getting its rewards point.
E. B.
Coming from rural NSW, I don’t get a chance very often to try different cuisines at restaurants. I came here to try the raindrop cake. I didn’t like it very much but it still was an interesting experience. I really liked the gyoza and fried chicken as well. We also were given a complimentary gyoza which was a nice surprise. Had a bit of trouble with ordering from the app from my phone but the staff were really helpful and brought us a tablet to use instead. Only downside was the tables were a bit too close together for COVID times. I will visit again though next time I’m in the city.
E. T.
My hubbie and I stay in Brisbane every two or three months, we were introduced to Harajuku in December, been back 3 times since, the latest last Thursday for lunch, when it was super busy, but the staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Emmy really took care of us, friendly and helpful. The food here is delicious with plenty of variety, the venue has a wonderful atmosphere. We will be back next time we are in Brisbane.
A. P.
This was my first time at any Harajuku and the food and service were lovely! My waitress was very informative and was considerate of my allergies. The food is amazing and they have some great vegetarian and vegan options too! :)
S. S. R.
Just love the food and the mood of the place.
Excellent staff.
J. D.
A really unique environment for a meal. The Karage chicken curry and Buffalo chicken gyoza tasted fantastic. I didn' t have the opportunity to try the craft beer, which I am sure will be of a high quality like our meal.
V. K.
First time and it was great. If you love dumplings this is the place to come too.
F. Y.
Say 👋🏻 HELLO HELLO GIANT JAPANESE #souffle #pancakes 😍 O M G!! No words I can say that these are so so light & fluffy, like eating on a cloud ☁️ at @harajukugyoza 😁 It is served with dose of Nutella, dollop of cream & fresh banana before you drizzle of Maple Syrup 🤤You have to try it or you will regret it! It is only Available at Albert Lane, Brisbane CBD for two weeks only 12noon to 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday July 4th to July 15th. $16 each & book your table. You will taste how light & fluffy, like you are on a cloud ☁️ like I was floating!!
S. I.
Food was not too bad. Friendly staff :) but the price was little expensive for small portion.
F.
If only I had more time in Brisbane to try the different beers, share plates and beers at Harajuku Gyoza. You have to look for it, but when you find it.....you are going to love it!
M.
𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠!! We loved the food!! So much flavour and great service
L. L.
Seriously yummy food! Service with a smile and very helpful staff. The premises are immaculately clean and the staff were able to accommodate our group with absolutely no drama. I highly recommend the plum wine, it's delicious! Tried the duck and prawn gyoza and was not disappointed one bit. Definitely going back for more.
Z. M.
We had the amazing Sam serve us today at Harajuku Gyoza. He was such a light and friendly face to have around the table for lunch. He was very kind and more then helpful
J.
The atmosphere and interior decorations are top notch. The only downside is that the dumplings do are average for the price you pay.
M. B.
Awesome place quiet and out of the way. Service was impeccable friendly and attentive.
N. C.
Super friendly staff and yummy food. This is a great place to meet up and have a few beers and a chat. The happy hour specials are great value.
D.
Amazing venue!! So much fun and the food and drink were great! Emmy looked after us she is sooo amazing :) This place is new 'after work' hangout :) love it!!
M. M. G.
The gyoza prawns are the best I ever tried, so much that I repeat. I love the environment, I really like the decoration and the waitress was incredible helpful and nice. 100% recommended
พ. อ.
Nice dumpling, nice staffs, very good atmosphere
L. M.
The food was quite good however the service was just a little off. The waitress was pushy with wanting us to order food although we asked for some time to decide. She also knew it was happy hour however she didn't mention it or bring our free wings with the beer we ordered until we queried it. One of our meals was spilt on the table with no offer of taking it back to replace and barely an apology. Their app offers $10 off your first visit but this didn't happen even though we spent time setting up on account.
Not a bad evening but definitely a few things could be improved to make your experience a nicer one.
S. W.
Been coming here for some time now.The staff are constantly run off there feet but seem to manage multitasking. The girls work there butts off. Tonight was a tad hit and miss unfortunately with the experience and food. Mabye Friday nights are a bit hetic. I will be back as I love the food and hope it improves on return.
N. V.
Loved this place. Great dumplings and must try with soy sauce mixed with chilli oil. Very friendly staff and service.
M. K.
Not bad dumplings. Worth a visit at least once
J. D.
Wonderful service, free chicken wings with beer at happy hour which was a nice surprise. The meals are good value and the staff are very helpful. The chicken katsu bowl was amazing I would've licked it clean (if I weren't with the family). Beer selection is great as well if you are keen to try an Asian lager or ale.
I. W.
Funky little venue with great food but the staff were even more amazing.
Thank you for a lovely evening!
h. g.
not the best, but not the worst. staff were friendly and helpful, however, service was a bit slow.
P. R.
In relation to my previous review 3 weeks ago, (1 Star), "concerned for long waiting times and not available staff" I was contacted by the Manager of this restaurant and she kindly explained me the situation, the importance of my review and how they would like to improve their business practices. This is an excellent initiative and I really appreciate the way how Harajuku Gyoza is approaching new customers, listening their complaints, identify issues and find immediately solutions.
As I mentioned in my previous email, I have revisited this restaurant and I could identify their improvement and as usual we ate your delicious menus. Thanks again and I do appreciate your customer care services and make customer happy and coming back again! Arigatou
f.
this place is quite small and very busy so at certain times you might have to wait an extra 10 minutes or so to order in peak times. however the food is really good, especially the chicken teriyaki don and any of their gyoza selections. its also really well decorated.
P. B.
Harajuku Gyoza Albert Lane is our favorite place in Brisbane City and has been for a long time! We love the casual izakaya atmosphere and food. The gyozas are the best - we particularly love the vegetable gyozas! The service is first class - many thanks Emmy!
A. G.
Love it - right size and balance of menu; they even sell draught Japanese beer. Food is delicious, quick to arrive and good non-intrusive service. They even offer you a $10 discount when you first time use their app to pay.
N. K.
Have been here multiple times and I love it every time. The location is convenient and in the centre of Brisbane CBD. Staff are friendly and attentive. The service buzzer on the table is a good idea. The tables are well equipped will all condiments and utensils.
The food is amazing. There is a wonderful range of different dishes. I am vegetarian and I liked the selection. Tempura eggplant is my favourite for sure. I also enjoyed the vegetarian gyoza and edamame. The flavoured ciders and watermelon cocktail is nice too.
A. W.
Food is great at a fantastic price. We go here every time we're in the city.
It's good for pairs it groups, however you can't split bills so be prepared to take cash to pay the bill if in a group.
Z.
Absolutely delicious food, ordered the Tofu Teriyaki and it was amazing. Me and my whole family adored it!!!
A. D.
Wonderful quick dishes. Tried the salmon Don buri and the miso soup was wonderfully savoury. Very yummy. Reasonably priced.
K. P.
Been here twice. Both times, the food has been very good and the service fast. The environment is very tight and noisy, but this is typical of both Japanese restaurants and the Queen Street Mall eateries. I recommend the Duck Gyoza.
G. F.
Service is effective and so friendly. Tried so many of the menu items in our party of 4. All were so tasty.
Great staff make a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
W. W.
A great place to catch up and grab a bite to eat. Try their craft pale ale.
E.
I was working away from home, and looking for somewhere to dine solo. Tried Jamie's Italian first, but they sat me down, then completely ignored me for 15 minutes. No drink, no nothing. So I headed over to Harajuku Gyoza (I've been before), and the super, super friendly staff had a glass of wine in my hand within about 2 minutes, and a smile back on my face. Food was good as always. Well done to the people who work here, and who have such a friendly and positive attitude, keep it up!
J. &. E. B.
Atmosphere was great, as were the friendly staff. If I were to simply rate the restaurant on those 2 categories it would be an easy 5 out of 5! But it's not unfortunately, the gyoza was average and the prices far too high. It doesn't help that I can do a much better job in the kitchen at home for 1/50th the price.
F. D.
Good vibe with tasty food! Nice 2L of good beer! Try the pale ale.
A. C.
Delicious Japanese pub food! Good selection of snacks including really delicious Gyoza. Also features a range of Japanese beers on tap. Great casual restaurant with a fun atmosphere.
R. A.
What a wonderful place! Fair prices and good atmosphere. A great place for your family or friends.
T. B.
We went to Harajuku Gyoza in the CBD for the first time last night and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was really lively.
There were a lot of items on the menu to choose from. We kept ordering other things to try because it was all so good, but omg! The mozzarella gyoza and the chicken wings were amazing!
Their pale ale is really fruity and fresh, which was perfect for Summer!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a fun night out with good food! We’ll definitely be going back.
D. E.
Great food and fantastic atmosphere. Cozy restaurant with lighting and decor to match. Look up and check out their ceiling decorations and order a sake to make the meal a bit more fun (because of their delivery ritual, not just because it's alcohol)
M. D.
Great place to go with friends and share. We tried 10 different items and enjoyed them all. Interesting desserts too - the Raindrop Cake was something different!
A tip - consider avoiding the more popular nights (e.g. weekends). All staff call out to welcome and farewell patrons so it could get a little tedious on high traffic nights.
E. E.
I think , midori is the best waiter.also food was delicious
K. C.
Second time we've come here and we'll keep coming back. Dumplings are excellent, perfectly cooked and come in grilled or poached versions. Wings are great, crispy but not greasy. Interesting gyoza themed hot fried desserts paired to ice cream. What will keep you coming back is the atmosphere, really energetic and vibrant staff, acrylic pop interior paired to warm woods and red lanterns. Order a round of saké with your mates for the full experience!
D. W.
Had the set menu and was not let down by any of it. Great food and friendly service. Was very busy when we arrived but the food comes really quickly so tables clear up fast.
A. P.
Awesome service, food was tasty, ordered juice and an ample serving came out (which isn't usually the case). Would definitely go back! (my youngest found the music too loud, so not so great for kids with sensory issues)
M. K.
Really good service, super fast and great food Emmy was really helpful!
R. K.
Service is so cheerful can’t help but feel happy.
Dumpling 🥟 were fresh& full flavour
W. _.
Great food, a bit on the pricey side however.
C. D.
I have been here a few times now and have had mixed experiences sometimes it's 5 star, others like tonight it's 1star. Good food, decent prices, however always busy and sometimes this increase in customers leads to a decrease in quality and portion sizes.
C. I.
Great service, great food. Feels like a trip to Japan.
N. F.
This place is an amazing gem hidden amongst a slew of other Asian themed restaurants. Has to be the freshest most tasty Gyoza I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is so welcoming and Inviting.
A.
I have had good food here and good service. Just had the Ramen. It was very flavourless. I could have made it at home myself. Extremely disappointed with this dish.
If you are just after a light broth, with 2 minute noodles, and roasted chicken from coles scattered on the top, then you will like it. It's more a misc noodle dish than Ramen. I should have stuck to their othet non-noodle dishes.
H. L.
Easily our favourite restaurant in Brisbane, we make sure to go every time we’re in town! Highly recommend the mozzarella gyoza 🥟
T. B.
Great first experience! Food was delicious and the service was great. Happy hour + first time app discount was a bonus. Such a great atmosphere too - ill definitely be back.
A. L.
My very 1St 5/5 review and I do many.
It really gave a good sense of a harajuku style right down to the action man on the roof and the individual designing on the plates.
They also have the cutest mascot.
The staff were very friendly and had the best service ive had in awhile.
I enjoyed the happy and fun atmosphere.
R. E.
Authentic, delicious, fun atmosphere, cute happy staff & bang on gyoza. Love love love it! Service is impeccable and every single item off the menu tastes just right. Miso soup, hot green tea, veggie gyoza & takoyaki; yum yum yum. I will be back!
L. H.
Not quite what I expected but more than satisfactory.
I have been to the South Bank branch a lot of times and decided it's finally time to try the CBD & also Indooroopilly another time.
When they say no 2 places are the same they are right, the same things are said when anyone enters and leaves the place but it's done in a normal voice.
Not that there is anything wrong with it, I think I set my expectation vs reality meter a bit too high as I am a bit too used to a really loud, fun, exciting and hip atmosphere so I was a bit taken off guard by the queit and calm nature.
I enjoyed the Gyoza I ordered, it was a little strange that the 2nd plate didn't arrive until 5 mins after the 1st plate even though I ordered them at the same time.
B. v. H.
I love the food here which is good value. The dumplings are obviously the hero dishes. It goes get very loud though, not the place for important conversations. But the vibe makes it feel hip and fun.
L. S.
Staff were very friendly, food was amazing. Cocktails were a little small for the price but tasted fantastic!!
A. S.
Chill place to hang out, nice foods to try but not all that cheap. Raindrop cake is definitely something to try out.
m. p.
Great food and awesome staff!
C. C.
Went with a Cudo voucher, so half price food and dranks! Worth it. Quick polite service, generous serving, only criticism is the chicken karaage - have had better.
M. A.
The food here is terrific and of course you need to try the gyoza. Ask about specials sometimes they do drink and food combos. Also you MUST get some sake if only for the loud and amazing theatrics the staff perform when you do.
R. B.
Perfect Gyoza with many different choices.
N. C.
Wonderful food and super friendly service, the duck gyoza are a real highlight. Super friendly and welcoming staff, well worth a look
J. S.
All of my family members love Gyoza. We eat gyoza every week in Japan. Well, This restraunt's Gyoza is a bit different from the gyoza in China or Japan, but they are ok. And its Nutella Gyoza is the first dessert gyoza we have tasted. At first, we're puzzled; "Chocolate gyoza?? What the hell is that?". But, we were pretty much satisfied with the taste!
E. S.
Average price, medium quality, I did not enjoy Gyozas
L. E. F.
Love love love Harajuku! Honestly so delicious and tasty, they might not have parking but a quick train or bus into Queenstreet is so worth the yum gyoza(my boyfriend loves the curry especially) i highly recommend the salted caramel gyoza for dessert. My only suggestion to Harajuku is to turn down the music, sometime it’s so loud i can’t even think
T. R.
Gorgeous decor, delightful music, fast service, and lovely staff. Heartily recommended after a day of scampering about town.
S. C.
Dumplings were great (lemongrass a bit strong) and teriyaki chicken was beautiful. Staff were lovely. Paid by app and saved $10.
S. D.
Pretty authentic tasting gyoza and ramen. Staff are great value and good fun. Good value, and free wings with drink purchases during happy hour. Loved it!
B. S.
The dumplings are what you come here for. Yum yum. Crazy atmosphere with highly animated waiters to make your dining experience just that little bit more crazy. A little pricy but quality tasty food is guaranteed.
J. H.
Food was alright - not cheap but not expensive. The apple, kiwi, and lime cider was quite refreshing - I recommend this. The staff are bright and bubbly.
M. Z.
For an asian restaurant in Australia the food is satisfactory. The gyozas were really authentic and good but the ramen was horrible as the soup base was really bland! However the plus point was gd service and nice place to have sake with gyozas
B. S.
Good selection of tasty food (I recommend the Eggplant tempura) and very accommodating to Vegetarians. They even did the foot long chips without Katsuo (fish flakes) for us!
B. B.
It has been a gr8 experience and it started from the moment you enter the restaurant till you leave. Specially with “ Mind “the employee who made us so welcome.
T. L. (.
Fantastic place! Amazing food!! Great service!!!! The staff whose name called Vicky is great, she is kindly and energetic to service us.Will be back again to try another dishes.

Went to this restaurant when we visited Brisbane. Really love this place, love the way they celebrated when I ordered Japanese wine. The food, gyozas were awesome, I wish Melbourne has this kind of place.
R.
Orders came a bit delayed but were all tasty. Should try their chicken teriyaki bowl and pork belly. Staff were friendly and approachable.
M. M.
Nice dumpling, Good hospitality. Must try!!!!
B. G.
Delicious Japanese food and cosy. A perfect place to eat in the city. Also a great place to share food as everything comes in bite sized pieces (well not everything).

D. P.
The food and atmosphere here is awesome. Authentic dishes, great drinks and desserts! Harajuku Gyoza is always a great fun time.
K. H.
I found the restaurant a bit too noisy, it's difficult to have a good conversation with friends while you wait for the meal ready. The food is great though.
T. B.
Once inside it feels like you are in Japan. Great food served with a smile on quirky mismatched plates. Make your own dipping sauce at the table. Yum.
J.

S. B.
Really great meat gyoza and ramen, and now they've introduced more vegetarian starter options your vego friends can come eat, because the vegetarian gyoza isn't very nice.
M. C.
Emmy was the best host ever. Make sure to never fire her.
C. L.
We rolled in looking for somewhere to get a quiet bite with the kids and the hospitality and service was brilliant. We will be back every time!

Great little place, plays classic 1970's TV music, ceiling full of action toys, super friendly staff, great food, great service, good value, and one of Brisbane's nice little gems hidden in an alleyway.
