Staff are friendly and agreed to let us change tables after already being seated and offered suggestions on the menu. It was quiet when we got there so meals came out very quickly. Food was fairly average when compared to other steak orientated places we've been but wasn't bad. The portion size was a little on the small side across the three meals we ordered, that would be the only shortcoming of the visit otherwise it was a good experience.

They where out of steak when we went there last but our meals where nice that we did ordered. Picture of my beef brisket and mash with onion rings and gravy on the side with a caeser salad( had no egg or croutons) My partner got the double beef and bacon burger AMD was happy with it.

The lunch deal was a bargain and you can’t expect too much from what you’ve paid. The sweet potato wedges were pipping hot and nice. Service was good. Burgers were disappointingly bland, in both chicken or steak. They need to be washed down, but again, you can’t ask for too much. They are indeed filling, if that is what you asked for.

It's OK, same menu for years. Food is not alway hot, husbands meal was way over cooked. Wait for meal was 25minutes...way too long. Need to liven up their menu, over cooked steak lost it 's appeal long ago. Maybe if visit it once a year you might appreciate it.

We ordered a steak and cheese burger with our other meals and I have to say it wasn’t very nice. I’m not sure which cut of beef you had used because tbh it didn’t even taste like steak. The portion sizes were small and to pay $2.25 for a small tub of tomato sauce is extortionate. I wouldn’t return. It is a shame because we often visit Hogs Breath in our home town and enjoy their food

Bit of a let down. Service staff were still outstanding but a little overwhelmed by the crowd. Food quality was also off the mark with the doneness of the steaks being off target on almost all orders. I suspect a less experienced hand in the kitchen. Also first time I noticed seperate billing and requested chilli sauce and mustard. That's disappointing. Right now wondering if I would come back. Previous experiences were better........

Had not been there for about 10 years. The Covid spacing has made this a pleasent place to dine. Not packed in like sardines. One of a few good things to come from Covid.

Service was and is always pleasurable. My order was incorrect which happens, however to fix the order some dry spice rub was added post cooking in order to fix it. Not acceptable by any standard and assumes the customer is a fool. Thoughtless and disappointing not a good look overall and takes an establishment we've enjoyed down a negative pathway.

Hogs Breath is on of my favourite aussie restaurants. The fries and salad sides in this Hogs Breath are like any other Hogs Breath, AMAZING! However, the steak in this Hogs Breath was not as tender as others and had too much fat in it. Definitely a dissapointment. Nevertheless the environment was good, servers were nice and restaurant was tidy.

Hoggies and the movies are the gold standard of a good solid date night. Hoggies is always of a really good consistent standard. I wouldn't come here for a romantic dinner but for fun friend times or just when you are keen for a solid meal hit it up.
