Very bad service, took 20 WHOLE minutes to get 4 soft serve cones. I understand it is busy. I have been going here for a very long time and i am starting to pickup on little things. THERE HAVE BEEN PEOPLE COMING IN STORE WITH NO MASKS ON. the staff are doing nothing about it , not even checking their vaccination certificates. I have also realized the lack of friendly customer service , the girls on the front counter purposely ignore you and just talk among themselves then eventually serve you. Really think they don't get trained well. It use to be alright but now its gotten worse.

Great visit through the Hungry Jack's drive-thru at Annerley. This store has a separate entrance to go in off the main road. The entrance that was well signposted is off the road. I hadn't been to this store before. The female staff member was very polite, patient and smiling. Disallowed me time to scan through the menu select my order. She genuinely had happy disposition and sent me on my way with good wishes. It was nice that it wasn't a robotic service style. . The fries were super hot with chicken salt. The food was great. There is nice car park out the back with some garden and greenery if you need to snack or eat in your car. The main building shelters the back car park from the road so it's quiet and peaceful.

Worth considering for your fast food. I can see they are trying to enhance their drive thru with dual lane ordering. The problem becomes large orders that delay the drive thru and can result in 10-15 min wait times between 6-8 pm. Faster to duck into the store. Being open 24/7 is a HUGE ADVANTAGE

Why don't you put cheese on my rebel whopper? Tonight I asked 3 times, but alas, no cheese, paid extra for it too. Like I just want to know the reason for this, did my girlfriend call ahead and say I'm lactose intolerant and I can't take the dairy without soiling myself later? That's her problem not mine! I have not been a Hungry Jack person... maybe have one visit every couple of years... but yesterday, had a Bacondelish or something like that. It was not bad but it was not as good as it could have been. I find that most of these places never properly heat the BOTTOMS of their buns, and this was no different. I was there at about 4pm so it wasn't busy and there was no pressing need to rush its preparation and subsequently provide a half-cold burger. Less Haste = Better Dining Experience.

Make sure you grab the round table - in the far right hand corner, as it's the prettiest window seat setting I've seen in a fast food restaurant. Good service, just a bit slow, burgers were a tad on the cold side, but on a different day you may get a completely different result, I'd definitely go back for another visit just to sit in that circular window seating. It's the best Hungry Jack's I've seen for layout, and design with good parking, easy drive through, and the space is very clean and tidy, which is a big plus. Possibly because they have a dedicated worker clearing the rubbish bins and cleaning tables.

This is hungry jacks but this time it's in Annerley. I've been here probably 3-4 times and each time they have served the items I've ordered. ? I tried the yumbo the other day. It tasted like ham mostly. Why does hungry jacks mostly try and copy McDonalds' ideas and products without trying to hide it? I've often wondered. Because when I see hungry jacks advertising a "Big Jack" it makes me think of a "Big Mac" from McDonalds idk seems strange

Great food that is usually quite well priced and cheap. The inside of the place looks nice and modern and there is a large amount of seating around the store. The food is quite quick and reliable however sometimes the food can be prepared badly, with burgers falling apart in the packaging. Hungry Jacks at Annerley has a mixed performance. While it is conveniently located on Ipswich road and generally functions normally the occasional bad experience still occurs. For example last time I went they forgot a cheeseburger from the order and both drinks that were ordered were lukewarm at best. It did not have the excuse of being busy at the time. I have also noted that there is some discrimination that occurs in regards to vehicles. A friend of mine mentioned that you can’t ride a unicycle through the drive through. While he seemed quite jovial about the whole affair this kind of discrimination against those who simply can not afford more than one wheel is despicable. However there are plus sides. It is open 24/7 so it’s accessible for the desperate and even though the staff have to deal with hordes of drunk, hungover, entitled customers it can be helpful to remember that life could be worse. It is also refreshing that Hungry Jacks doesn’t force it’s staff to be happy. I much rather a depressed nihilistic outlook while eating food that’s killing me slowly than fake happiness in order to make people eating there feel better about their life choices. At it’s worst it’s a minimum standard fast food restaurant with warm drinks, incomplete orders and discrimination but at it’s best it’s a depressing nihilistic paradise that combine being open all the time with food so deadly you won’t even need to travel to the story bridge to commit suicide.

People complaining about it "not being 24h" need to read the signs that are literally on the front door. They clearly state the dining room closes at 10pm due to safety concerns for their staff. (Knowing the area, this isn't an unfounded concern) I've been through the drive thru many times at 3am. Always good service from here. Everyone whinging about wrong orders need to check before they leave. The staff will no questions asked replace anything wrong or missing. I'm a regular here and they don't screw up orders anymore than any of the other fast food places. Apart from KFC the new hungry jacks chips are the best of all fast food places. Don't expect high end burgers from a fast food place but they're good for what you pay.

That was evil marketing selling coffee for $1 then suddenly changing price to $3.95 - the quality of coffee is certainly not commensurate with the price.

Hungry Jacks at Annerley is a great place to go. The only problem with this store is that they rarely get an order correct. Because I am a regular at fast food restaurants, they seem to think that it is OK just to say sorry and not offer a refund or replacement for the meal that could not be eaten due to allergies. If the replacement or refund is requested, then it is rejected. This store and others need to recognise and accept that just because a CUSTOMER regular customer requests replacements/refunds, it is not a person trying to take advantage of them, but is is a very patient person that it still frequenting their establishment even though their staff keep making mistakes! Why would I still frequent their restaurant when they keep messing up?? Because when they don't mess up the order, it is damn great food!

I went to Hungry Jacks at Annerley last year and let me tell you it was nothing like the experience I had today at the same restaurant. I was served immediately as I walked in by a polite young man and recieved my food very quickly considering how busy they were. The manager who gave me my meal was friendly and to top it off the food was fresh and exactly as I order it. I will be coming back to this restaurant more often that is for sure.

The only flaw is that service is slow when events happen (as they should) but this place seems to prioritise drive through way more than they should. Take advice from McDonalds and tell people to wait in the parking lot.

Well what can I say. I don't go here often but I do crave there burgers and onion rings occasionally. They have a good budget menu to get your fill for 5.95. I am a bit mainstream when it comes to there burger range. With the whopper or whopper junior a favorite of mine. I also like their long chicken sub as well. But must be with extra mayo. Food was average but whatever would expect from a HJs. The menu was the same old HJs menu and the presentation was what you would expect. It is uniform to moat other HJs you would have gone into. The speed of food preparation was maybe a little slow and the staff on the cash register did an average job. The new chips are the only reason to eat here. Plus it is open 24 hours so you don't have many options for late night drive through only munchies. The Grill Masters menu is bearable if you like thicker tasteless Angus ground patty. Be prepared to wait ages for it. Bacon is never crunchy. Just warm ham. The Angry Onions are an interesting change now and then.

Rocked in hungover as sin to be delightfully greated by Martin and his co-worker Laura with beaming smileS. We were about 5 meters away from the door when Martin sparked "welcome to Hungry Jacks guys!". Their energy and positive attitudes enhanced my hungry jacks experience and lifted our hangovers. The I left with a big bag of hungries and a big smile. I have never experienced service so good from any fast food restaurant in Australia before. It was all because of Martin, give that man a raise and fly him to US to serve Hungry Jacks burgers to Obama.
