Nice place for brunch. Breakfast board is always my go to when I come here with someone. However there were several issues I found from last visit. Avocado wasn't mashed properly and some of them were not ripe that I couldn't enjoy the ultimate creamy texture. And the size of the bread decreased conspicuously since my last visit. Despite those issues, overall, my experience here was pretty good. Beverage was great. Coffee wasn't too bad. Service wise....it depends on staff member. I'd definitely visit again to try some other.

Great place for coffee and breakfast in a quiet little Street. I've been a regular customer at Jak + Hill since I moved to Spring Hill early 2015 and never been disappointed. Vegan and Vegetarian options are available. My Favorites the Almond Latte for coffee, Avo Hummus on Ciabatta for Breakfast and the Jack's Veggie Stack for Lunch..

We had a very enjoyable breakfast here on a late Saturday morning as we were staying nearby. The cafe is located in an area with mostly offices and no shops, so it was pretty dead on the weekend but at least the café wasn't busy. Seems to be one of the few cafés open later on the weekend in the area. Location: Cafe is spacious and has an outdoor section too, but surrounding area didn't have much of an atmosphere on the weekend due to surrounding offices being closed and lack of retail shops Decor: Cheerful and pleasant, fresh flowers on tables, no particular aesthetic Food: We were a group of four for breakfast and enjoyed everything we ordered. Breakfast board for 2 (more than enough for 2 people sharing), mushrooms on toast, hotcakes. Would recommend for a decent breakfast/brunch. Also had nice coffee and fresh juices. Service: Friendly and relaxed Restroom/toilet: Only has one restroom (with a warning that it gets clogged easily) despite the café having a decent amount of seating/tables. They could probably do with another restroom. Would also recommend they do not place a seat/table right beside the door to the restroom..maybe a screen or row of plants would be better to separate the restroom door from the dining area.

Had an awesome experience here for breakfast last Sunday with my boyfriend. We had the breakfast platter and it didn’t disappoint! Good service and decent coffee. We’ll be recommending! (Sorry I didn’t get a good photo but the presentation was great)

Nice little cafe in Spring Hill. A few vegan options - not specifically on the menu, but they can change a few items to suit. This was my vegan version of the sauteed mushrooms. It was nice, could have used some nuttlex or spread on the toast, but I ate it all anyway.

Great coffee! We had a flat white and an iced blend coffee. For food we chose the breakfast plate. First of all, we waited closer to 45 min for the food after receiving coffee, not many customers in the cafe. Next to none avocado, eggs tastes a lot of vinegar and the rest was pretty average. Very “instagram-worthy” but if you’re here to enjoy an incredible breakfast I’d try something else on the menu.

We enjoyed a really good breakfast here this morning with our 19 month old twin boys. All the staff were really nice & helped us enjoy our experience by entertaining the boys. The food was awesome too. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend. A+

Jak and Hill has a nice atmosphere and great coffee. There is also the added plus of it being open on a Sunday, unlike many of the other Cafes in the Spring Hill area. I had a breakfast dish that came as a waffle with your choice of salmon or bacon along with poached eggs. I was impressed with how much smoked salmon was on the plate, and it along with the eggs were delicious. The waffle could have been a bit more toasted/crispier but other than that it was very nice. I would certainly return for a meal with friends or even just a coffee as the flat white I had was beautiful.

Had breakfast here after being overseas for a month and wow what a great introduction back into Australia. We had the Jak benedict and breakfast burger. Both tasted so amazing how ever the burger was a real stand out for me with house made tomato relish one of the best I have tasted. Portions are very good too 😁. Coffee was also done just right not to hot not to cold. Would return here on our next trip. 5 stars ✨

Food was yummy with "option anxiety" inducing menue (read : great selections available); coffee was good. Cool vibe with fun retro seats. We ordered the breakfast board, which was $36 for two. Bacon, chorizo, haloumi, rosti, 4 X poached eggs, and bread with butter. We nearly couldn't finish it. Gluten free bread was good as well. There was bacon EVERYWHERE. Really generous portion size. Super relaxed environment on Sunday morning.

Cool place with good food. Has free WiFi so it’s nice to work on your laptop while you eat. Food did take quite a while to come. I waited over a half hour for hot cakes. I didn’t mind since I was studying but I noticed other people were not happy with the long wait. Otherwise great place.

My Wife and I are from Sydney and we saw this cafe on the internet and were intrigued... Needless to say, this brilliant cafe is worth the visit for locals and visitors. Recommend the fluffy delicious pancakes which was a perfect mix of sweet and visually stunning. Also the Jaks Benedict which was very tasty according the Mrs. The real Panda!

Food is great! Ate here for breakfast and dinner about 5 times during my week in Brisbane. Service can be a little slow and unfriendly BUT we all have off days. Would recommend and would go back!

Nice atmosphere, very filling and lovingly made breakfast dishes. So-so coffee (very weak blend and too much milk I suspect) that keeps this place from getting 5 stars. Ordered stuffed roti bread and mushrooms on toast. Roti bread was great - filled with lovely fluffy scrambled eggs and a gentle touch of chilli jam. Ridiculously filling so I could only finish one. Mushrooms were in heavy garlic butter sauce - delicious and again, incredibly filling. Space and staff make this a wonderful place for a friendly chat over brunch.

Good food and a good location. The service though had been kind of hit and miss. On some occasions it's been 5 star. In these cases service has been friendly and efficient. Strangely this ties in to when they were busy. On other occasions when they have not been busy, ostensibly anyway, the service has been slow and a little unfriendly and really a 3 star. Will keep coming back and see if we can't push that 4 start to 5.

This quaint and trendy resturant had the perfect marriage of delisciouse food and vibrant atmosphere. A freind and I came for breakfest based on its high reviews and ended up coming back the very next day. We shared the breakfest plater which was a perfect amount for two. As it was during the week the waitress was kind enough to substitute the meat on the platter for extras of each option. I highly recommend it!

Disappointed by the coffee 3 days in a row. A long black with limited/thin or even no crema does not instil a lot of confidence in the baristas skill or one who takes pride in his/her work.
