This was a first for my wife and I but fortunately we accompanied a couple who had been before. The dining experience is a unique experience where you get to cook your own food. I found it a great way to engage with our fellow diners and the food was great. To fully appreciate this type of Korean dining experience would require more visits to have an idea of the variety they have to offer. Not possible to give a definitive critique just on one visit. The service was exceptional.

You get what you ask for! We ordered the wavy set for about $169 and we got meat, meat and more meat. Good value for money, there was a point in the meal that we thought we weren’t going to finish. Staff The staff were obliging, I wish they ran us though what we were eating. Venue The venue was clean, toilets, not so much.

Busy kbbq joint that is on level 1 off Queen street. The meat was all delicious and had an amazing flavor because of the charcoal. I really enjoyed the kimchi pancake and would go back just for that! I think the sides could be more generous but overall I enjoyed my dining experience here

I've been going hard on the Korean BBQ circuit lately for a reason. Premium Wagu Set at Korrlla for "Date Night" with my Bro. Cuts from this menu selection were delicious. Just cooking them up however you like is the best. Spent less than 150 between 2 and that was with a couple of beers each, full and satisfied! Korilla BBQ is definitely the top Korean BBQ in Brisbane CBD.

Great Korean bbq experience. We ordered the premium wagyu set for 2 which came with 3 cuts along with a few side dishes and salads. Service was pretty good as they have call buttons at every table which apparently is connected to all the waitresses watches with an alert so whoever is free and nearby could serve the customer. Nice to cook and cut the meat yourself to your own liking. Would definitely recommend to try this.

This Korean restaurant is amazing! Great quality of meat especially their wagyu and really love that they use charcoal for their BBQ instead of electric/gas. Recommended to book if you are going on Friday night or the weekend because they get super busy. Get the wagyu sets! Service was friendly and efficient. Much better service than some of the other Korean restaurants in the city! Also they are not stingy with their lettuce! 🥬 Their lunch menu though is quite overpriced. I'll only go here for Korean BBQ or hotpot.

Great bbq place. Very busy on weekend. Came on weekend with less crowd. Great food esp the wagyu. Special grill design that does not require frequent changing of the grill. Good service. The entrance to this restaurant looks a bit iffy but the walk up those stairs is well worth it. I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and the waitstaff were extremely patient with me. I enjoyed the food thoroughly and spent quite a bit of time relaxing after my meal, and did not get a single glance or vibe to hurry up and get out of there. Unlimited side dishes during the meal is a big plus in my books. The toilets are a bit of a walk away from the restaurant but they were clean. This is a really nice restaurant in the mall 👍

I initially had high hopes for Korilla as it always seems to be busy but it was apparent very early on in our dining experience that it was very much a fusion type of setting rather than an actual KBBQ experience. The restaurant is set out well with a nice bronze finish, staff are attentive and the food is of decent quality. The few things that let the experience down was the odd selection of accoutrements for the meat , the inauthentic taste of marinades and sauces and the general lack of value for money. This would be a good start to KBBQ for someone with an Australian or other palette, but if you are looking for authentic 삼겹살 then this isn't the place for you.

The food here is always nice & the service is generally lovely, I do wish they had more vegetarian options, this is the first korean restaurant where I've felt very limited in options, but if you eat meat you will LOVE it. The dining experience is really great & something I feel you should experience atleast once. . If you can afford it as the menu is a little pricey (group bookings make it easier on the pocket), but I think it is meant to be at a higher standard than other Korean restaurants? If you don't want to cook you're own meal I wouldn't suggest coming here but it's a really great cultural experience & definately fun on the taste buds, if you're a first timer I would try all the sides you're given aswell, the kimchi is great!

This is my second time here. The restaurant is fairly large and spacious. It looked clean. I came with 15 colleagues for lunch today and we had a variety of food. All the meals were delicious and presented nicely. Everything looked and tasted fresh. My colleagues enjoyed the bbq meat. The staff were efficient and were ok with splitting the bill. Definitely recommend.

Amazing range of Korean food including the marbled beef range for the BBQ option or you could have a cooked meal. The bimibbap was delicious with the raw beef. Only concern is that if you come on the weekend it is very noisy and you have to raise your voice to speak to your family, friends and other guests.

When you walk into a Korean restaurant and notice the majority of the fellow diners are Korean, you suddenly realise you could be onto a good thing! Great first meal out during our Brisbane holiday. Lovely cold beers on tap. The seafood pancake was so YUM!!! Really good Korean BBQ. Meat quality was good! Love that it's actually cooked over coals and not gas. Interestingly, they have a steamed egg on the side of the bbq stove. It steams while you cook meats, very delicious. Service was great, quick and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Service The wait staff were polite but had limited English. I thought we were being ignored until I realised they use a buzzer system. Once I pressed the button on our table service was very quick. Food We ordered the basic beef combo for $60. We also got bibimbap (mixed rice) for around $15. The portions with the meat were generous and just the combo would have been plenty for the two of us. The combo included a pancake and a soup. The meat was at the verge of still being frozen, some parts were stuck together and it was very cold. Despite this it was still tasting quite good after being cooked on the bbq. Everything else in regards to food was quite nice. Atmosphere The decor was modern and nice. No complaints here.

The $99 premium wagyu set for 2 was very worth it and it can easily feeds 3. Food was nicely laid out and the service was pretty great. Their dipping sauce was slightly bland so don't forget to add some salt to it to bring out the full taste of the meat. This place is definitely the best Korean BBQ in CBD.

My new favourite Korean BBQ spot in Brisbanetown! Very generous portions of wagyu beef in the premium beef option. Delicious sides and quick and efficient service. The berry sake ain’t bad either. After dining here once, I took a friend and her partner here for her birthday and they loved it too. As I’ve dined here at a reasonably earlier dinner hour (6pm) I haven’t had to book, however, when leaving (7-8ish), there is generally a queue heading down the stairs. So booking a table for peak dinner hour is recommended. Highly recommend! Will return soon!

What a find! My first outing to this Korean Style BBQ restaurant. Having lived in Melbourne for some years I am a keen Korean BBQ fanatic and attended many great eateries. I have to say during the busy peak hour of a Friday night the place was pumping! I had a 3 minute wait before being escorted to a very clean and spacious setting. This place had the gear and very well arranged in quality style. The staff very super friendly, efficient and very obliging to any questions, the were professional and very good at it in every discipline. The food arrangement freshness was evident and the variety of proteins was mouth watering! I indulged and needless too say it was an all round delightful culinary experience, thankyou team for such a pleasant experience. 😊

Love the ambience of the place. However I'm just surprised at how the lettuce aren't refillable while the sides are (thank god for that). There were only 4 lettuces per set that we had ordered to wrap the whole BBQ set (a lot of meat). It just seems miserable from my POV for the amount of money that we're paying. Fairly overpriced imo. Other than that, meat were great and relatively fast and friendly service.

A wonderful experience! The restaurant looks fantastic inside, and the menu has a good range of food so even people inexperienced with Korean BBQ can find something they'd enjoy. The staff were all attentive and tried to help us as we floundered through the cooking of our meal, but we got there in the end. Admittedly, I was still hungry when I left but I think that was more due to my inexperience at ordering a good balance of dishes. The food was great though and I will definitely be looking to eat here again next time I'm in Brisbane.

Amazing decor, amazing food, lovely environment with exceptionally fast service and so much fun with friends. only issue is the high prices and then the small amount of items you receive and if you want more extras like lettuce you have to pay an unreasonable amount. Most similar places make these extras free to get more and i think they should really look at adopting this too.

We were struggling to find somewhere decent to eat on Christmas Eve when we stumbled on to this wonderful restaurant hidden away in the mall. They welcomed us in and after a short wait were seated. Man the food here is exquisite and fantastic value. Servings are more than enough and we enjoyed every last bite. Service was fantastic and warm family atmosphere made this a wonderful experience! I promised myself that this would be an honest review. I can't deny that the food was excellent but the service was terrible. I went to the Queen Street restaurant this evening 7/5/2019 around 8:00 pm, went for dinner with my partner and a friend. We ordered the BBQ set for 4, they first brought the beef set which we readily started cooking, halfway through our meal the manager shows up saying that they brought the wrong order but since we were halfway through she left it there ( the wrong order was the same amount of food as we would have in the BBQ set, they sent an a la carte item instead of the BBQ platter). A few minutes later the manager comes back and tells that since we had some of that set she would charge the price difference in the final bill. I wasn't happy with that but agreed to avoid ruining the night. However, the problem was far from over. When we went to pay the check we noticed that there was a 40 NOT 10 BUT 40$ extra on the bill, they not only wanted to charge us extra for THEIR mistake but also added god knows what as extra on our bill. After an unfriendly conversation, they removed the extra 40$ and paid what we ordered. Really sad the customer service does not match the food quality. Recommend the food, not the restaurant.

Fabulous dinner, cannot recommend enough. Fast & friendly service and huge menu! Wagyu beef was so tender and flavorful, really delicious. We arrived at 6:30 and got one of the last open tables. By 8:00 there was quite a line. $130 for 2 including drinks and entree. Grill is super hot though so dress light.

I go to this great spot many times a year! This is the best place to have a bite. I go there regularly. The cooking is excellent, the team is helpful and the prices are fair. I enjoy going in this spot over a tasty dinner.

I have been to many Korean BBQs and this one is by far the best I have come across. The meals are delicious and the place has a vibrant atmosphere. It can get busy for dinner but the wait for a table is reasonable. Booking is available. The menu features plenty of options with meals starting from around $20. The larger BBQ sets which you can share start around $50.

I have came here a few times now, and always have a blast. It's a little too expensive to come frequently, but is excellent for a special occasion. Good foods, meat always tastes the best right after cooking it, Soju is amazing, 10/10. Only con is that sometimes you burn your food when you get distracted.

We came here last Friday evening, hungry from walking all over the city and we made the right choice since service was really fast and the quality of meat is excellent. We ordered wagyu bulgugi, marinated beef ribs and beef ribs soup. The wagyu bulgugi tasted the best. Our server also helped us grilling the meat when he saw that we seemed to have trouble doing it, lol. I wouldn’t hesitate coming back to this place if I’ll be in the city of Brisbane again.

Favourite KBBQ place!!! with authentic charcoal bbq, good meat sets and a large seating area, this is a must try! I always get the pork set or beef set, pretty good value!! Might be a bit on the pricey side, but considering that other KBBQ places are all electronic heating bbqs, I dont mind paying a bit more for the true charcoal flavouring!!! Great place to have KKBQ and soju!!

Food is generally very nice, staff mostly attentive & you have a little button on your table to summon someone if you need them. Can be very busy and thus noisy at times, part that is generally par for the course with these BBQ places as they are a very 'social' setting. If you just want to try it out, i'd suggest the seafood pancake. Bento boxes are nice too, and the produce provided for the BBQ is nice if that's your thing. Good selection of Korean Beers to try at reasonable prices also worth noting. Could be a good place to visit for a few beers and casual food in place of a bar if you're so inclined.

Good food in the heart of the city. Though it's hard to find vegetarian, I was able to find quite few dishes which could be made vegetarian. Kimchi pancake, potato noodles we best. Bibimbap could have been better. Friendly staff. Ambience was good. Price was ok too. Toilets are far away and feels like you are on different world compared to restaurant's ambience.

My meal was fine and I'll love to go back but when they state the Wagyu is Premium grade I seriously doubt that. Not enough marbling and cut about half as this as it should be. Another thing is we asked for refill condiments 3 times, each time they said they would but they never appeared.
