Best Chinese food l ever had. Prices are very affordable which is a mystery considering the quality of the food and the service. Quantity/portion size is great, l love eating and their size satisfied my appetite hihihi you should give it a go 100%. On top of that 500ml Tiger Beer on tap $9 - that’s a good price. Thank you and we will be back soon

My Reason to return to Lucha is the noodles. Appears to be made in house and fresh. Never disappointed.. Ambience is welcoming, staff are friendly.. Ordered a hokkien chicken noodle and a signature dish.. Rice dish looked bland but tasted nice.. Don't forget to ask for specials menu in case you're not handed out, easy tip to save 8 to 10 dollars.

3.5 ⭐ - First visit here, we waited for 30 minutes for our order to be taken so we left. 2nd time we ordered straight away, venue is also very modern and chic. We tried the: ♡ Roast duck with rice - the sauce for the duck was too sweet for my liking but overall enjoyable ♡ Sichuan style shredded chicken with dry noodle - dish was very flavoursome and noodles were cooked well. Chicken pieces were very small and there's not much in there unfortunately

Another place I’ve been wanting to try for a long time now. A spacious restaurant with a bar located on the Elizabeth street (we accessed via Albert street). The restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time we got there but I assume it would be busy on a Friday/Saturday night. The ambience inside the restaurant was very nice and the staff was friendly and welcoming 🥰 Here’s what we got: • LÜCHA Tea-Flavoured Roast Chicken (Half) - $16.95 • LÜCHA Jasmine Tea Smoked Wagyu Beef - $45.95 • LÜCHA Signature Fried Rice - $17.95 • Wok Fried Egg Noodle with Soy Sauce - $15.95 • Sliced Chicken Breast Congee - $10.95 • Wok Fried Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce + Pancakes - $23.95 My favourites out of the lot were the fried rice, noodles and the roasted chicken. As basic as I may sound, the fried rice was actually my favourite 🤣 The pancakes were okay - I liked the pork so I basically just ate the pork by itself. The wagyu beef was nice but I wasn’t a huge fan of the smoked flavour as it was very very strong. The beef it’s was nice though! The desserts were really nice as well even though I forgot their names 🥲 There’s so many options in the menu so I would totally go again if the opportunity arises! Highly recommend giving @luchablack.brisbane a try if you haven’t done so already! 🥰

One of the good choices for team gathering lunch. They offer lunch specials; $20 for a main meal with house wine or beer. Nice food, reasonable prices. Service was okay. We have been there many times.

Really lovely restaurant and great service! We really enjoyed our time and even had a laugh with the staff. The bitter melon dish was a bit of a let down but the cocktails made up for it. Four seasons cocktail was pretty cool drink and made for a great drink with the group. The intestines were quite yummy too!! The venue itself is pretty and dishes looked amazing. Thanks for the great night!! :)

This place looks a bit more upmarket than most but the prices are still reasonable and it is in a central location. I came here for lunch with a couple of friends and we waited a while for one of the meals. The food was not as tasty as I expected it to be, since I was just at the other Lucha a couple of weeks ago. A tad noisy but still a nice place to have a meal.

Trying Lucha for the first time. It was a good experience. Modern Chinese Dining. Tea infused recipes. Food was delicious. Service was good. I would say price was reasonable. I'll come back just for the brown sugar boba ice cream!

The restaurant is beautiful. Really impressed with the interior design and decoration. Love the retro, elegant look. Very sophisticated! Food was delicious and price was reasonable. Especially their lunch menu. Had the crispy duck with dry noodle. Asked for extra duck sauce and the staff gladly gave more which was great. The poached chicken was really well done. The sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, wonton noodles and stir fried pork belly with potatoes were also delicious. The 3 cup chicken was a bit different than the ones we've had before, tasted good. Can't wait to try more dishes! Their drinks menu is good too - lots of wine, beer, tea, bubble tea and cocktails options. Love that their cocktails are tea inspired and that they included how each cocktail will be served. For desserts, got the brown sugar and strawberry boba cup. The pearls were fresh and chewy, yum. Service was really friendly, helpful and efficient. Hope they keep this up! :)

Truly amazing food and great decor. Such a shame the service was lacking. We were waiting for a waiter or waitress to come and clear our plates for 30 minutes and ask if we wanted dessert, but no body came, even when they acknowledged us. Then had to wait inline for 15 minutes to pay the bill because they somehow couldn't explain to customers who split the bill that the customer who paid cash will pay less because of the 2% merchant charge clearly marked on the register. As we left, our table still wasn't cleared. But in saying all of this, we will be back because the food outweighs the terrible service.

This Bar and dining venue is definitely one of the best dining experiences to be had in Brisbane. The food is EXCELLENT, the staff are very friendly, especially Harry. I didn't catch the name of the waitress, although she was a delightful person too. I had the Lucha- Tea flavoured roast chicken, served on a hot plate which was perfectly matched with a very cold Sapporo beer. I keep thinking about that chicken - it was the best chicken I've had in years!.. I will definitely be going back.

The service is very good and food quality was excellent. I love the stylish decor and that the products stay true to the brand of using elements of tea throughout the food and drink menu. The atmosphere is very good. I really hope they uphold the menu which has a great variety and hope the service continues to be good. Price wise, they are spot on. Not too expensive but not too cheap.

What an absolute gem in the heart of Brisbane. What used to be Singapore Kitchen is now Lucha Black. Tucked in a quite lane adjacent to Queen St mall is this exquisite restaurant. The fit out is gorgeous, modern and comfortable with a choice of inside dining or outside dining along the lane. The staff are uber friendly and very accomodating. If you don’t know what something is just ask and you will be given all of the detail, plus options. Now for the food. Everything I have tried on the menu has been first class. Fresh, plentiful and absolutely delicious. From the entree of dumplings (yummo), to the Mongolian beef (sizzling) to the Lucha fried rice (delicious) they were all of a very high standard and so well presented (the decor also helps with this). The drinks list is extensive with everything from beer, to wine, to spirits, to soft drinks, too bubble tea……plenty to choose from. Pricing is spot on as well. Give it a try, you may just be surprised with what’s on offer. It is now my favourite restaurant in Brisbane (and I live on the Gold Coast!).

Food was good but unfortunately if I had to review the service, I wouldn't give 1 star. No one was paying attention to customers (and we were only 4 tables), the waitress was more focused on closing the venue than taking care of the tables, we had to constantly wave the staff to take an order. And she was extremely loud, it ruined our experience. Drinks took also 20 min to arrive on the table. Such a disappointment, the service is ruining the potential of this place.

Black tea and chocolate ice cream was quite unique, tasted nice but bit pricey at $4.8 for a cone. Service was slow even though it was after lunch service hours. I think Lucha was just under staffed. I can only comment on the ice cream as it's the only thing I tried from their menu. Would not recommend, unless you really want to try this flavour of ice cream. There's better ice cream shops around the city.

Lovely dishes with tea flavor! The interior design is so elegant and the environment is comfortable. It’s suitable for a group of people to order several different meals and share because the serving for the food is quite big!

Have only tried their tea flavoured soft serve so far but am finding them a cut above the bubble tea variety. Happened to visit twice over 2 days, and tried the following: * Jasmine tea soft serve (cone) * black tea charcoal chocolate soft serve (cone) * strawberry bobo cup The soft serves come in different flavoured cones, and sell for $4.80 each. My colleague and I sampled both soft serve cone flavours for an afternoon snack and I have to say that the flavours are more interesting and complex than other soft serve I’ve had. Can’t really describe the taste though (my palate and food vocabulary isn’t refined enough 😅) so I’ll just suggest you do yourself a favour and try it for yourself. Pricing wise these are more like premium ice cream or gelato level than typical soft serves, though I do feel they are a more premium item so would make for good special treat material. All bobo/pearl cups are $6.80 and use Jasmine tea soft serve as a base. The day after my soft serve visit the bobo cups were on a BOGOF promotion, and I returned with another group of friends for some after dinner desserts. Unfortunately they ran out of all other flavours by the time we got there and only had strawberry left. It was still pretty nice but I was hoping for the taro or mango cups so will have to return another time to catch these flavours. I estimate the amount of soft serve in these cups to be on par with what you’d get in a $4.80 cone, so you’re paying $2+ (factoring for the removal of the cone) for the pearls/syrup/fruit that make up the rest of the cup. I guess if you’re happy spending ~$7 for a BBT then $6.80 for a dessert is kinda same same but different?

The team at Lucha black are fantastic. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Made for a fantastic birthday dinner with my beautiful girlfriend. She chose the Horfan beef and wasn’t disappointed with the traditional dish that reminded her of Hong Kong. The roasted chicken with tea leaves was amazing and left us both incredibly satisfied. The food and atmosphere have made a beautiful day better.

DELICIOUS!! Three course peking duck, carved at the table, ordered in advance to cut wait-time. Attentive service, efficient delivery of orders, reasonably priced. We had seen a dish posted on Insta, the waitress didn't know which menu item it was, she took my phone to the kitchen, 10mins later the dish arrived in all it's fiery-fish-mushroom-szechuan-pepper glory. The flavours were absolutely amazing and I can say that the Lucha is one of the most delicious Asian cuisine in Brisbane. I love the custard bun and the sauce for roasted chicken!!! They should improve on the customer service unfortunately. Only the female staff with black shirt seems nice to everyone. The waiters with white shirts were a bit impolite. Definitely will be coming next time and hopefully the customer service will get better.

The food here is pretty average, went during lunch and got a few dishes to share with some mates and were left a bit unsatisfied. Don't get me wrong I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic of this restaurant but I personally prefer LUCHA Kitchen + Bar as their food and dessert is well above this restaurant.

Was there for my son's 21st bday dinner and the food was yum! Was impressed when our bottle of wine was brought in a bucket of ice on a stand and our glasses were filled and served to us. My son's bday cake(I brought in) was brought to us on a trolley with candles n sparklers lit with 2 lovely ladies singing 'Happy Birthday' song to him. Amazing service🤩.
