Just had the best pizza and pasta of my life here; the owner was amazing and the chef is a spitting replica of Nadal 🤌🏼🤌🏼

Absolutely amazing, the staff are so welcoming and the food was incredible. They are really dedicated to creating a wonderful experience. Great selection of drinks and cocktails as well as fantastic desserts. Unfortunately did not take a picture of the pizza which was a must- we ate it too quickly. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had an amazing time and Meal experience. The owner / chef Fred gave great personal service and was very accommodating. We chose freshly made Sea food Marinara Pasta and Lasagna. And we had a beautiful red Italian Wine to wash it down. Highly recommend to all who love homemade Italian Meals. Very family friendly too!

I just ordered from the new online takeaway menu!! Wow wow wow. The mushroom risotto - perfect!!! and a beautiful pizza. It is all gone! The best. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. It was ready in under 10 minutes and they clearly use good quality ingredients. Definitely be going back for more.

Just moved to the area and heard of this restaurant. Staff/Service was excellent. Food was exceptional. There were 6 of us so we were able to try the entrees, pizza, pasta and a special of swordfish. Chianti and wine available from Italy and the Lemoncello was awesome. Highly recommend a visit for a great Italian food experience.

I had dinner here on Saturday night and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The service can't be beaten and the food was authentic, fresh and full of flavour! If you haven't been yet you are missing out, I guarantee it will be your new favourite! Thankyou Federico for treating us so well, I will definitely be back!

Had the best woodfire pizza since our last trip to Italy. It had a delicious crust. The base wasn't rubbery all like most I've tasted in Brisbane. We ordered the prosciutto pizza which was very fresh with generous topping. You know you've got the real deal when the 'pizzaiolo' (pizza chef) is Italian. Definitely will come again. I hear they are open for breakfast too so might give their breakfast menu a try considering their lunch/dinner menu is very authentic, fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding too. Lovely Italian waiter. Two thumbs up.

Great location. Staff do need to remember coffee orders especially when only one is made. But when it arrives it's a pretty good coffee. Wood fired pizzas are high standard especially the bases being cooked well enough to not taste doughy.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, super friendly staff, food serving was a bit slow, our 2 main courses served up 10 minutes apart. By the time my pasta turned up my husband's pizza was cold. But Federico and Ricardo were very apologetic. Warning ! The mosquitoes were very nasty and unfriendly. We'll come back and with insect spray.

I am Italian and this is One of my best pizza place so far. We had four different pizzas and all tasted authentic. Friendly atmosphere and nice location for a walk along the river. Finally a local restaurant where i will decently come back.

Their Food tastes amazing, looks like an artwork and the staff is super friendly. We tried their Breakfast and Dinner and the amount of creativity in creating interesting new twists is amazing. Can only recommend to make a reservation before getting there.

Highly recommend Giovanni's Dockside. We met friends here tonight. What a great addition to the Dockside scene. Friendly, approachable service,the staff were knowledge and helpful, the food was freshly prepared and tasty, great value with large portions which are very reasonably priced. We will be back

I really want to love this place because it's local & I love italian food, but I've been twice and been disappointed both times. Spaghetti Marinara had canned corn kernels in it (why?) and was really stingy with the seafood. For $34 I expected much, much more. Tried the arrabiata & found it really bland, no flavour apart from being insanely salty. Service is friendly but honestly not good. Super unorganised & the whole place feels a bit chaotic (and not in an exciting way). Extra star because their pizzas are actually really good, but they're let down massively by the service and the quality of the rest of the food. It could be a really great addition to the neighborhood but in my opinion it needs a lot of work.

Every now and again Giovannis blows our mind so hard we forget to take pictures! We brought our Sicilian family and ordered the prawn risotto special, Sicilia and capricosia pizzas, Arancini, few peronis, De Vola Vino, tirimasu and cannoli from start to finish was outstanding, topped by the wonderful service and quaint KP serenity. 💯percent recommend
