we had a wonderful dinner at Mr Wabi this week. The staff were friendly and super helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the banquet was so generous we were all over full when we left and had to waddle down the laneway. The real star of the show however, was the cocktails. Such fun and thoughtful presentation and all were beautifully made. We can't wait to come back!

The best Asian fusion street food in Burnett Lane! We we're searching for new food spots in BNE. We always go to our favourite restaurant and definitely this one made it to our list! First of all the ambiance, it'll give you the Asian "street" food vibe of entertainment district. Love the neon lights and dark walls completing the restaurant. The servers, we haven't got their names but there's a guy who met us at the front, bar lady for our fantastic drink and awesome chef! The food is simply amazing, noodles cooked in high heat wok, you can definitely taste the burnt yet delicious. The bar drinks, kimono lady one of the best, blood flower, of course my beer we cannot forget that! And the main highlight and absolute favourite, Chef Wabi's Signature dish, whole peking duck it takes 30 mins for prep but its the perfect dish to wait while getting your drinks and other food. The skin is crispy, no funky taste and its perfect with your more than 5pcs of pancake to wrap your duck. Its a bliss! 👌🏼 We will be back and will be bringing some new faces! 😍

Had such an awesome Birthday dinner with my friends last weekend. Good food, amazing cocktails, great service and the best playlist ever; late 90's & 00's r'n'b (think Nelly, 50 Cent etc). Lots of the cocktails are visually amazing, like 'Opium Den' that comes in a glass box filled with smoke. My fave was the 'Fairy Godmother' that bubbled and smoked in front of my eyes. Soooo good. Seb the owner was lovely, and everyone who served us was so friendly and made sure we were looked after. They even sent over a complimentary round of shots since it was my Birthday! Quality food served fast, fresh and delicious. Staff were more than accommodating and welcoming for a group of 6 very hungry business people on a work trip. I had my 21st birthday here last weekend and it was the best experience. The staff, service and care from management and the owner was absolutely above and beyond. The venue is super cool and a great atmosphere. Jack the bartender did such a fantastic job dealing with our non stop orders. They also organised balloons for the table which was such a nice surprise. The owner liaised with me to create the perfect food and drinks package to cater to our indecisive group. The food was amazing and there’s heaps of fun cocktails. Such a cool place to go for some great food and fun atmosphere! I will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone.

Highly recommend, owner was very pleasant and welcoming, staff were also very friendly. Food was fantastic. I went on a Friday night and the place was packed out - I recommend booking in so you don’t miss out. Pictured below we ordered: Peking Duck Pancakes, Veggie Stirfried Noodles, Fried Chinese Bun Chips, Wok Fried Chinese Greens, and for drinks Sweet Thangg and Giggle Water.

Mr Wabi is fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious. They have a great space in Burnett Lane which is perfect for lunch or dinner. Vegan options are plentiful and tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious and well priced. The wild flower signature gin bowl was an absolute treat. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Eye catching decor and old school beats playing in the background. Hidden gem tucked away nicely. Will definitely be returning again, but I will probably ask for a different sauce with my pork belly as mustard sauce wasn't my cup of tea. Other than that this place is a must do for Brisbane City.

Wow! Amazing service, great atmosphere, stunning drinks and awesome food. The owner Seb was very welcoming and catered to all our dietary requirements. We had the banquet meal plus dessert which was more than enough for two people. All the cocktails we tried were funky and unique. What made our night was the play list. If you love old school rnb, hip pop and rap Seb's play list is gold. We couldn't stop dancing whilst we were eating all night. Highly recommend if you want a place with great drinks, Asian fusion away from the south side and perfect beats to complement it all. We will be back soon!

Gotta love any restaurant where you walk down an alley and then down stairs into the venue. Burnett Lane has a real Melbourne laneways vibe going - so does Mr Wabi. This place has such a good selection of food, the soft shell crab and Wasabi Beef in Black bean where two of my favourites. The owner is on the floor and he has such a great manner about him. I will definitely be heading back to continue to sample the menu and their great cocktails. For real drama go for the Gin Opium Den - comes in a smoked glass box. I would absolutely recommend.

Delicious lunch for two. Lunch special of fried chicken and fried rice is as good as it gets. Bao buns are large and succulent. Small offering of wines is interesting and well priced. My Chardonnay was a bit too cold - needed a cuddle! The deep-fried icecream dessert, topped with Persian floss and surrounded by cream and chocolate surpassed deliciousness. Then we had cocktails. A really different selection. Watermelon margarita was a great finish to a fabulous meal. Service was prompt and friendly, though there were only a few diners for lunch. A issue, maybe for some, being down below street level, no internet connection.

Honestly had the best night! It was a Tuesday so you don't expect to stay long but the customer service there from Ben, Bailey and Hunter was so phenomenal that I couldn't leave as I was having a great time. As long as they are there I will gladly come back again and again. I've not had customer service like that especially in the city , at such a lovely location with excellent quality house options that FAR exceed the standard you expect and at excellent prices. Highly recommend and hope you get Ben, Bailey or Hunter as your bar tender as well
