I went there for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. We sat on the balcony and we absolutely enjoyed our view. The food was delicious and very plentiful. The sides are great but small portions and its unlimited so you could always ask for more. We missed out on Cinnamon Pineapple but we enjoyed everything else. This place is best for special occasions. It’s affordable, something different, great ambience and with breathtaking views.

Good portions, great service, wait staff and hosts were funny, personable and eager to please. Views are great. Open air seating is a winner in a pandemic. We visited while the restaurant was offering banquet only ($55 all you can eat meat). My criticism is that some of the meat was undercooked (chicken and pork specifically), the waiters served people in the same order all the time and rarely started at the back of the restaurant with fresh meat. The meat was also somewhat flavourless, as other reviewers have said. Very little seasoning. That said, we ate our body weight in meat so definitely got our moneys worth. Cocktails were excellent too. Great vibe.

Had New Year’s Eve at Navala. Great experience! Food was sensational as usual. Staff were attentive and friendly, made sure our large group was well looked after all night. Good experience, Pork and beef yummy but waited too long after the first meat came out for the second meat, by the time the second meat arrived we were almost full from the chips and rice. Disappointed 😞 when we wanted lamb, but didn't arrive until the end of the night, by then we couldn't be bothered. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great view and location. But at the end of the night, it's all about the food.

I think they have some delicious meat especially beef. The coconut fish and calamari were very average. Calamari has really fishy taste, we didn’t like it. Beef, chicken and pork dishes were really good. The place has really good view of the river. We ordered a wine bottle and they gave us the wrong wine. That was disappointing. I think they served dishes too fast and we feel we were always in a hurry to finish eating. It is more enjoyable if we can take a bit more time to enjoy the food.

The atmosphere was a little or the dark side for me, but that's because we took the whole family. More better suited for a adults venue. I organised my staff XMas party here this year, and I am very happy with the experience, the staff, and the quality of food. As other people have mentioned, the meat is barely seasoned, however, there is no shortage of sauces and condiments you can use to season the meat yourself. Getting service to start with was a bit painful, but then once the meat started being served it was fairly consistent, although it felt like it came in waves. All staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely with live music and a fantastic view.

Quite traditional Brazilian churrascaria (all you can eat meat) with great cuts. Medium price, no cheese bread and no cassava chips included in the price made the experience a bit disappointing. I would say: overall good for a Monday and will come back again for sure!!

Looking at the reviews before hand I was impressed by how everyone was in awe with this place. Navala exceeded my expectations, the only downside was the meat is way to tough, popular dishes like the Cinnamon pineapple was great, not to sweet at all. The perfectly seasoned porterhouse comes to you on the perfect thickness and tenderness. Every bite gets you a little closer to south america, and if haven't heard of the region's renown yet, you will quickly realize why they are well-regarded as the best steaks in the world. And please, make yourself a favor and ask for the sides options, they are as indulging as the steak!

Service was amazing! Super accommodating and offered information to all the new dishes we had never experienced before. Had a really nice atmosphere with the staff that seemed to be genuinely happy working there. Starting with the positives. For $69 all you can eat I expect a lot of flavour as quantity is secondary for me.The variety of dips complimented the different meats. The food came out quickly, and regularly, it was a quiet Sunday lunch. The picanha was the only one i really enjoyed, except for it being too salty and by then I was full from the cheaper cuts of meat that came out earlier. Negatives- We had to request for the fish and and picanha to come out as it seemed after a long gap that they were not going to offer it.The lamb, beef and fish was lacking in flavour and too dry. For the price i except each meat to be tender and full of flavour.

Went on Sunday night with 2 kids, The food was amazing. every time the meat came, it was so fresh, juicy, perfectly cooked. all their sides were great. very friendly staff, they came around to every table and made sure everyone tried all the meats, they even accommodated special request from across the table who was asking for well done steak. In fact we have to say no couple of times as the food was keep coming in and we couldn't keep up. Probably one of the best BBQ we had in a long time. Well priced & great location. Highly recommended. This is a must visit restaurant.

Dissapointing service and food. Me and my partner came here for all your can eat bbq and were very dissaponted. Place is understaffed and some of our orders never came. Also the best and most expensive cuts of meats were not brought in as well (issues with supply as we've been told) even though they are mentioned on the menu, so we've only been fed cheap cuts. We've been to Brazilian BBQ in Darling Harbour in Sydney and both food and service were amazing, such a shame but it looks like neither Melbourne nor Brisbane can match the quality.

Went for lunch over the weekend and the place had a great lively atmosphere with live music and a few larger bookings. We sat on the balcony with great views of the bridge. The staff were lovely and helpful and brought the meats out super quickly! The meat itself was tender and juicy but lacked seasoning and we ended up having to ask for salt. The variety of meat was great and we loved the cinnamon pineapple and fried banana bites! The endless sides and sauces were awesome, as was the sangria. Great place to fill up on some well cooked meat, would love to see those true Brazilian flavours come through though.

The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection. It was juicy and tender. I like that the meat was not overly lean and the fat on it was just right. I personally wish there was more fat on it. The beef choices were scarce so it would be good if they would consider adding more in the near future. However, I like the lamb and pork options quite abit. And the fruits are to die for. They were amazing. So sweet and juicy esp the watermelon. I haven't had watermelon this perfect in a long time. There was a great selection of side dishes and the sauces to choose from. I really loved the coconut rice and the roasted onions. The desserts were creative and well balanced in sweetness. Overall, I think the meal was perfect.

Super kind and enthusiastic staffs, fantastic riverside view will welcome you, I am pretty sure you have a great time there if you’re not a picky gourmet. Wow, went for father's Day today, such a an amazing experience, pouring a beer for the dads on the way in set the tone :) amazing food, the meat arriving to the table sizzling and juicy straight from the charcoal, heaven, delicious sides, gotta find the recipe for the mustard sauce.... The meat was tender and juice, well cooked. You can have as many sides you want, the chips and banana fritters are yummy. The guys come with a variety of skewered meats quite often (beef, chicken, lamb, pork, calamari, coconut fish - delicious)$55pp They also have roasted veggies for vegetarians$38pp. Large and generous portions. Friendly staff but it took then a while to serve us. Overall a good experience to enjoy with a large group of people. However, it's not what it used to be before covid. There were more variety in the past. Ahh almost forgot... The caipirinia (Brazilian tipical drink) is a must!!! Same as the cinnamon pineapple.

Ricardo was very personable and attentive, and created a great experience. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great (and plentiful!), and the service was even better.

Brazilian BBQ is amazing. Strongly recommended. Food starts almost immediately, so minimal wait, excellent for those of you with hungry children. Sides were very good. I found that the tamato salsa, roasted onions paired very well with most meats. The crumbed banana was also good as a sweet bite. The classic caipirinha is an excellent example. I wish I had gone for the pitcher immediately, as it would have worked out to be cheaper than the 3 I ended up having. Services was quick, friendly and polite. We arrived early in the evening, and I would do that again for a quieter restaurant. 5 stars.

We were told it was a great place with nice juice meat and very vibrant atmosphere with very happy and talkative staff. We don't know if it was because of us going at lunch time but.. The meat was dry almost unsalted and a bit tasteless. The staff was polite. There was a lot of noise (all coming from a men's table). That made us thinking that the acoustic was not that good. All the food was delicious and cooked perfectly but I was just abit disappointed by the un even distribution of food. I needed to request afew times for certain dishes to be served. Chicken, red meat and pork were mainly served and not enough of everything else. We waited too long for small servings of halloumi cheese.

We've came for the all you can eat dinning option, the meat is bit overdone to me. Hence, too dry of the meat and not much of options for dessert after the meal. Not to mention had been ignoring by the waitress all night, the effciency of waitress can be improved, expected she go for our need like bringing up a bottle of tap water faster instead of letting us wait for another 30mins. Great effort of the waiters, they are frequently ask our order to meats and with smile faces, thumbs up on that. In short, if you are thinking to have all sorts of meat in one meal you can definitely have a try, the meat in there have a sense of charcoal and it is delicious to me and you can get pretty stuffed after the meals. On the other hand, if you are expecting a experience of modern cuisine or fine dining i won't recommend you.

The Management and Staff were fabulous, friendly and professional. It was our first experience dining at a Brazilian restaurant. The only thing that I felt would make it a better experience would be to clarify with the group how the meat distribution works. We had well done meat eaters and rare meat eaters and it was hard to be served all together. I wondered if having two waiters attend a large group each time might work better. This is not a complaint. Far from it as the food was amazing and the service was incredible! We all left extremely satisfied. Thank you for an amazing evening

If you love vegetables, this is not for you. If you LOVE meat, this is for you. Awesome meat cooked various ways, the first beef well done and we were disappointed, the next was the same but rare, perfect, so don't worry if the way its comes isn't not to your liking, there will be more choices. But what stood out were the staff. Polite, courteous, efficient, and they actually looked happy in the work, although the servers must have walked a marathon constantly bring out fresh meat dishes. Recently had a birthday lunch at Navala, with the all you can eat meat menu. One of the best meals by far, not only for price but also for the quality of food, for once meat is the the main food on offer, and not all the other garbage (sides) that we've come to expect when eating a meal. We had a great lunch and came away feeling satisfied and not bloated. Will be back again some time soon.

The food is good. The view is good. The staff are nice and friendly. However it was really really hot/warm in the indoor dining area. We were so sweaty for the entire time. We asked few times for them to check the a/c, it didn't seem to make any improvement after checking. We end up needed to ask for ice to put in our drinks to cool ourselves down.

It had no flavour and it was rubbery. A whole fish on the Barby would've been better. Especially if your paying $55 each all U can eat meat and sides. Coconut rice U couldn't taste coconut in it. Besides all that, this place had an awesome atmosphere and the staff were just amazing. Made the whole experience good enough for us to definitely be back for sure. Offering all you can eat meat for ~$50, you can certainly eat yourself silly at Navala Churrascaria. Wait staff bring around skewers with many different varieties of meat, and carve off small slices for your meal. Alongside the beef, pork, and lamb, they also had calimari, fish, pineapple (Right? It's amazing though!) and haloumi. They also give you free unlimited sides and sauces, with an extensive drinks list and some nice deserts availible seperately. Fantastic view of the river and the Story Bridge. I'd preemptively warn any vegans/vegetarians that this isnt the place for you. 10/10 gave myself the meat sweats, and would do it again.

It is a very good restaurant as it provides a very tasteful, well presented and enjoyable experience. The staff is expeditious, helpful and very professional. Overall it is a very good experience. On the Saturday Feb 6 we had a couple of issues that took a bit away from the great experience. The air-con was not properly functioning and the table at which we were sitting was very hot. it happened to be under a couple of gorgeous peacock feather fans that were only decorative and served no refreshing purpose. Other costumers were complaining of the same in other tables. The second very disappointing experience was the toilets. They are commonly used for various business and at 5 PM (before peak attendance) the male toilets were unusable. There were vomit and feces all over the three cubicles and it was not possible to use. This was very unpleasant. Other than that, the place provides a unique experience.

I visited this restaurant two years ago on a work trip and it's stayed in my mind as one of the best places I've eaten within Australia. Upon revisiting on Sunday during our trip from Canberra I still walked away saying the same. The food was sensational, well flavoured, perfectly cooked and the pineapple is an absolute must-try to anyone visiting for the 1st time! The value for money is more than what you could hope for in any restaurant and is probably underpriced in all honesty. The staff are attentive, professional and go above and beyond to ensure you're happy, offered the full experience, and leave having tried everything (and with a more than full belly)! The floor manager on Sunday evening was doing a wonderful job, and took the time to keep going around and checking in on ours and other peoples tables. We will be back again on our next Brisbane trip!

The location is nice, overlooking the Brisbane River. For unlimited meats, the price is ok. It was a little slow getting some drinks and more sides/sauces, but overall service we experienced was ok. Unfortunately a number of the meats were overcooked and dry. The meats that weren't we're quite tasty. The caipirinha cocktail was a disappointment - too sweet and not very fresh tasting.

I think if you come with friends and family, you will have a good time. Sitting outdoors is good especially at this time of COVID19. There’s so much meat, I think I can skip meat for the next week. We like most of the food, but I think some of the meat was slightly dry from overcooking. Fantastic staff, all lovely staff, very helpful. The restaurant is only half filled, I think if it was full, but last weekend was lockdown, there’s people staying away. Overall as long as you are not vegetarian, you will have a good time.

There aren't too many restaurants in Brisbane where you can eat good meat, cooked well, at a reasonable price. I had been wanting to try the only Churrasco I could find in Brisbane and thankfully it wasn't disappointing at all. The beef quality may not be as high as top end steaks in Korean BBQ restaurants, (or steakhouses obviousky) but its cooked well and with great flavour. The buffet is a fantastic value for Brisbane, the pork cuts are really well cooked, chicken is nicely seasoned, and the meats are cooked in the right size for it to always come fresh. Almost every cut was done just right to be juicy, very rare was a slice a bit dry or overdone. The only downside is that they seem a bit understaffed at this time, but the staff themselves do their best to keep you happy and make you feel very appreciated. It's a very nice change of pace, if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience this is great, the river front also makes it feel rather fancy. I hope to be back and enjoy it again sometime soon.

incredible churrasco, staff were super friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. we started at 6pm on a monday and the food started as a trickle first and sped up as the restaurant got busier. the food was carved straight at your table and you could have as much or as little as you wanted. huge range of sides to sample from to accompany the food. the chilli sauces and salsa were a personal highlight for me if a specific item hadn't come out staff were more than happy to get a small order made just for you to ensure you experience everything you wanted to. could not recommend this place enough it was a great experience

We visited Navala early on a Saturday night. The sides are unique and there aren't a lot of them but your going for the meat after all. As we were there when they opened there was only one waiter bringing the meat but he was very quick and polite. At around 5.40pm when more people arrived more waiters were serving. All the meat was great, including the calamari. My friend loved the cinnamon sugar pineapple for desert. The all you can eat price of $55 per person was well worth it. It's also a very relaxed restaurant.

Navala Churrascaria always delivers. Beautiful food, cooked to perfection, plenty of it and the staff are always happy to get you as much as you want. Special mention to the serving staff, the guys were legends, knew our names by memory and were just so awesome to the kids, joking with them and asking them what they wanted next. The overall experience was so good, we would travel to Brisbane to do this again.

The food was amazing as too was the atmosphere. The biggest downfall was the lack of ventilation. We were seated directly under the aircon but couldn't feel a thing. Staff informed us it was on and that it had something to do with the venue upstairs being in control of the aircon system or something. For some reason they have cold aircon up there (we could feel it when we walked past their main entrance) but Navala had nothing. Not even doors that opened up to let in the river breeze. I'm highly disappointed with this because it made the experience very uncomfortable and rushed because the humidity became unbearable. This wasn't just a normal evening. We've been going through a heatwave so everyone at our table was sweating. I would expect a venue like this to be better prepared for the warmer weather.

I have been here twice, both times for the "all you can eat meat" menu. Once seated, the staff bring out a continuous selection of different bbq meat, chicken, beef, lamb, pork, and calamari (I think). When you arrive they bring out a selection of sauces, explain what they all are, and refill them throughout the night as necessary. The bbq pineapple with cinnamon completes the meal. The staff are knowledgable about what's on the menu and interact well with patrons. They are continually coming round with new skewers of bbq so before long you build a rapport with them, which is nice. I look forward to going back.

The quality of the restaurant was a let down in an overall sense, the reason I spared the 3 stars are only because the staff was nice and helpful. Whoever was in charge of choosing the tables and chairs for the restaurant did a horrid job. The tables are too small especially when you have all the sides and sauces on the table, plus the waiters have to place their meat trays on the table to cut slices of meat off. The waiter had no choice but kept knocking the small side dishes on the table. The small tables also meant narrow spacing between the wide chairs that were dumbly chosen. We had to take a few chairs out and space ourselves, this meant some of us ended up sitting in between tables that were uneven in height. The location doesn’t provide the best view of the storey bridge, and I think if more thought was put into the interior furnitures, at least the comfort could compensate for the non-optimum location. Food. I enjoyed about 4 of the meats that were served, others were too dry and my jaw had to work pretty hard. The best thing out of the whole course was the cinnamon pineapples, which is pretty disappointing for the price paid per head. It was a work function and work paid for the food. Honestly, if I was to pay for my own, I don’t think I will ever go back. Serious rework is required on replacement of the tables and chairs they have. If anyone is thinking to take someone on a date here, don’t.

The location is great, the decor is fun but a little more casual than I expected, but the staff were what made the evening. As for the BBQ, the chicken thighs, sausages, garlic rump and pineapple were all highlights. I really liked this place, it is not fine dining but the food is great and it is a different experience than your usual sit down restaurant. Price was reasonable. They bring lots of different meats out on big skewers and carve it for you at your table. You are provided with sauces and sides to compliment the meats. If I could make a suggestion it would be even better if there was some sort of written guide at each table that advised which sauces and/or condiments or combination of both to try with each new cut of meat. I winged it with them all and it was a bit hit and miss so I would have liked more guidance with that please. There may have been some combinations that would have been great I am sure but I just didn't hit the right ones. I still loved the evening though so 5 stars for sure. Also great view of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge from our table.

Well, i have to say i was disapointed, will not say is bad, but isnt even close to good (except for the deepfry crub banana, that was amazing). As we brazilians, i did expect little bit more tasty. The first piece of garlic rumpcap (picanha) and chicken thights we got was the best. Than that was it, every single piece we got was, total charcol smoke taste, no flavour or wasnt exacly that cut. we were very well received by one of the girls, and 2-3 guys who bring the meats, all the other pretty rude and arrogant. is so disapointed to go at a place and leave no happy. As i said to the guy when i left the resturant, was ok, but not even close of good. :(

Lovely venue for authentic Brazilian BBQ overlooking the river. Be careful of meat-aches if choosing the buffet! After a while the flavours start to blend together but there's enough different things to order that you'll pretty much be full by the time that happens.

This place is definitely my favorite restaurant in Brisbane. I have to admit I can be a picky eater, but these guys really go above and beyond to make sure we're happy with our dining experience! On one occasion I went in and they had changed their salad, and all I had to do was mention I preferred the old one and they made it special just for me, and that's just one example! Plus the view is nothing to complain about, making it a very romantic date night!

This restaurant has a ' wow' factors, including variety dishes, abundant food supply, friendly service... We never have been so spoiled with good food like this. Every one must visit this place, highly recommended.

Brazilian barbecue is a meat lovers paradise. However there are plenty to chose from for vegetarians and vegans too. The staff (Gaby in our case) was fantastic and very helpful. Our little gathering was a roaring party and they were very accomodative and supporting. A couple of suggestions- 1) is there a better way to dispense the barbecue rather then on these large vertical skewers as they do tend to splash as you cut through. 2) seating is too tight and barbecue serving causes a fair bit of jiggle and juggle.

GREAT SERVICE, BUT.... I've been to many Brazilian "all you can eat", this was overcrowded and that loud that when a waiter said what was being served I had to ask again and again and felt rude. The drinks were overpriced, so 5 of us was over $350!. The vegetarian comes with only one skewer of vegies and all you can eat sides. An extra skewer is $18, theres prawns advertised on a A-Frame at the front but it's an extra $32 for a "tappas" of 5-7 prawns on top of the $55 plate. Cocktails range on average of $20. The atmosphere for a balcony with river views for a couple is beautiful, (Yes, bring her here) but if your planning on paying for a group with drinks... plan again. Best to book in advance, and all the staff are beautiful and welcoming. They even did a birthday song and clap for the table behind us which I clapped & cheered for. The location is Amazing where you can take your partner out and stroll around the waterfront after for a romantic walk. Highly reccomend, although; make sure to bring your wallet... BUT ..Perhaps the giant smile and extremely full belly makes up for it.
