Amazing food! The best Vietnamese in Brisbane. Came here about about 3 weeks with friends and we got the banquet & donuts. Well the photos speak for themselves, absolutely incredible! It was a busy night but the team still got the food out in good time. Will be back for many more feasts!

On Friday night we had the best meal delivered by knowledgeable, helpful team of professionals. Whilst waiting for our meals the power went off (likely from the flooding that Brisbane experienced on week leading up to this) but it didn’t dampen our spirits. After a short time the team were able to restore power. The bugs in black bean sauce were sooo amazing (we failed to get a photo it was so good). Cocktail Hello Hanoi was the winner but the truth is we were the winners after the great dinner!

Great food, fresh, authentic, good portion sizes - amazing flavours - chefs cook with passion and authenticity. Good selection of drinks - cocktails and beers on tap - non alcoholic drinks also - something for everyone. Great venue, not cramped, nice modern decor - the lanterns are adorable! Great service, attentive - even during a power outage on Friday night they seamlessly served their clients and ran around trying to fix a problem that was out of their control. They were professional in a very stressful situation. You must try this venue if you like Vietnamese cuisine - you won’t be disappointed as this family business will treat you like your part of their family!

The food is absolutely divine and the team consistently provides service with a smile, even when you can tell they are run off their feet. I loved the food so much, I started getting them to cater for my work events. Luckily I’ve moved further away so the food isn’t hurting my waistline as much, though it might be a tad too late. ❤️

The absolute best Vietnamese food I have ever tried, I travel to Paddington from Ipswich just to get my Vietnamese fix. Have been here multiple times and has never once let me down with the quality! Owners and their workers are super lovely people. Highly recommended the lemongrass chicken and the dumplings!

Really good restaurant! I had the green papaya salad and tried the vegan BBH, both of which were really excellent. However the best meal of the night was the pandan creme brulee, which was exceptional. It's an amazing vibrant green and that colour really pops with the beautiful, fresh red strawberries on top. The restaurant also has an interesting wine list and very friendly staff.

Great Vietnamese food! I’ve been a few times and have really enjoyed it every time. The only reason this isn’t getting five stars is the value we received tonight with the banquet. As a group of two I wouldn’t recommend getting it, just order your own meals, they serve larger portions for both the small and large plates when you order off the menu. TLDR: Pretty good Vietnamese fair! As someone familiar with Vietnamese cuisine Ngon Brisbane wasn't too bad! The service was friendly and fast, the Vietnamese Coffee I had was on point, and the food was good. My Pho was dark and rich, perhaps a bit darker than I'm used to. I'm not sure what made it deeper - but it felt like there was more star anise and black cardamom present rather than a richer beefier flavour. The fillings were fine, if a little dry/overcooked. My wife's roast pork salad with rice was also ok. The familiar spices for the roast pork shone through and were tasty. If I could go another half star I would - this is a 4.5 star venue!

We had the BEST shredded beef and Vietnamese pancake with fresh herbs for lunch here. The service was lovely the ambiance is fabulous and their instagram stories are entertaining! Would love to come back for the cocktails which look absolutely divine too. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

What an exceptional venue. We have tried to get a booking over the past months but due to work and other commitments it didn’t happen but it was worth the wait. My absolute FAVOURITE place to eat. I think I have eaten Ngon about 100 times in the last two years since I first ate there. We probably have Ngon at least once a week. The owners are so friendly and the service is always incredible. Ngon’s food is so delicious every single time and so well priced!! The vermicelli combination bowl with tofu is so so good! I’ve taken my family and friends to Ngon and I don’t shut up to other people about it. I love Ngon and I know you will too ❤️

NGON is the best Vietnamese in Brisbane. Nothing compares. The owners are the most amazing, lovely people. We take all of our out of town visitors there and no one has ever been disappointed. To those leaving poor reviews because of a power outage… Shame on you! This is a family’s livelihood. They don’t control the power, the weather or covid so give them a break. The restaurant's name is Vietnamese for 'delicious' and fitting for the experience I had tonight. I had the sizzling beef, curry duck, shredded beef, pork belly, salted squid, and lychee drink. Everything was presented nicely, tasty and service was timely and pleasant. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant appears to market more for the immediate suburban demographic, meaning, if you want traditional Vietnamese cuisine then look elsewhere. Would I go back? I prefer traditional Vietnamese cuisine so this is not my first pick, but if I was invited here, I wouldn't be mad either. Not quite 4 stars but close enough. Tip: From a glance, the table with the window view at night is refreshing and dazzling.

We made a last minute booking without realising that there was a game on in a nearby stadium. The team accommodated perfectly and were very clear on how busy they were but still allowed us sufficient time for a young family to eat dinner. Now the food was absolutely exceptional- I had the Moreton Bay Bugs in Black bean followed by the Taro inspired deep fried ice cream! Delicious . . . Just Delicious! Came here Saturday night with some friends, had a wonderful time! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic. Super clean. Great view. We had the ‘special’ spicy beef noodle soup. Oh wow. It was so good. We also had the normal beef noodle soup, which was also delicious. Super fresh and tasty. The pork belly rice paper rolls with peanut sauce were also a favourite, super crunchy from the pork belly and fresh. The lemon grass mojito was the best! We will definitely be back!

Ngon is our local Vietnamese restaurant and I honestly could eat there every day of the week! The food is always fresh, delicious, satisfying and leaves you wanting to go back asap because it is just so good. Ngon has been my go to since the day they opened their doors, and every single item on their menu is exceptional. They make their guests and regulars feel like part of the family, and their dedication to great food and consistently high service is second to none. When friends had a baby during the pandemic lockdown, they customised a menu for them and their other small children and delivered daily. Their ability to adapt to keep their doors open and give back to the community during COVID is admirable. We had a fab evening here on a hot Friday night in Feb. The place was packed, inside and outside. It was a hive of activity, giving it a fun, lively and energetic atmosphere. But despite the crowds, it still hummed like a well oiled machine and everything ran smoothly for us from beginning to end. Given it’s obvious popularity, it’s advisable to book ahead, which we did and were rewarded with a nice table outside. I did find my chair rickety and a bit of a danger hazard on the uneven pavement, as it tended to slide backwards every time I got up, but that was the only negative. The service was friendly, polite and efficient and we didn't wait long either for our drinks or our meals, and that was no mean feat, given how busy it was. Food was pretty impressive too. My wife and I shared the vegetarian spring rolls for our entree ($12). There were four to the serve, nicely presented to the table on a stylish grey plate and accompanied with a red dipping sauce. The perfect way to start the meal. We followed that up with two chicken dishes: the fried variety and lemongrass chilli chicken. My fried chicken was a generous dish with loads of fresh, succulent chicken in a crispy batter, served with salad and accompanied with a basket of fluffy boiled rice in plastic wrap. It was delicious and I finished it all. Our friends had rice paper rolls, salt and pepper tofu and a chicken dish. We all enjoyed our meals. The bill came to a reasonable $114 for four drinks, two starters, four mains with rice. Parking wasn’t too much of a problem down a nearby sidestreet, about five minutes easy walk away. Toilets are down a flight of stairs. They’re clean and well provisioned. Ngon is a well run restaurant staffed by hard-working professionals, and it’s worth a visit.

4.5 stars - amazing place with nice vibes and lovely staff, definitely one of the top viet restaurants in southside however dishes can be quite pricey. We tried: ◇ steamed rice rolls - super fresh although does lack a bit of flavour in the sauce ◇ pork belly - quite on the salty side, would recommend sharing as it is heavy ◇ beef cheek curry - also recommend sharing, meat falls apart so easily, delicious! ◇ duck spring roll - has a very strong duck gamey taste, not a lot of meat in it but still lovely ◇ panna cotta - can't really taste the coffee flavour, really sweet but still enjoyable ◇ pandan creme brulee - amazing! Strawberries balances out the rich flavour, so smooth and creamy ◇ iced coffee - spectacular, if it had a bit more coffee flavour to it would be 👌

We finally checked out Ngon Brisbane at Paddington after seeing the many wonderful comments online and we’re happy to share that they did live up to the hype. Feeling gluttonous, we ordered their Breakfast Banh Mi, Beef Pho, Vietnamese Duck Curry and finished with their Pandan Creme Brûlée. Everything was on point - beautiful crispy bun with the Banh Mi, the Pho tasted very clean yet still flavourful, the Duck Curry was rich and went very well with the rice, and the Creme Brûlée was full of delicious pandan flavour. We also had the opportunity to sit down & have a chat with the amazing chef behind Ngon, Tuan, who shared with us his incredibly passion for the restaurant, his family, and good food. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return again, hungry for more.

We had a beautiful meal last night. A large takeaway order for 11 arrived packed in such a way that it was still steaming hot and delicious when we tucked in half-an-hour later. Everyone agreed the food was some of the best Vietnamese they had eaten. Portions were generous and thoughtfully prepared and presented and dietary needs: gluten free and vegetarian were extremely well catered for. Tuan and the team prepared an absolutely brilliant banquet for our party of 10 celebrating my wife’s surprise birthday in June. The staff were discrete, thoughtful and totally attentive. My husband is Vietnamese and we get our fare share of cuisine on being on the south side - but this place impressed us both. It's familiar enough but still more bougie/special than your typical no frills viet place. It has frills - the good kind. Service and venue were lovely as well.

Walking into Ngon is the same every time. We are greeted with friendly faces and an inviting atmosphere. But what exceeds our expectations is the kind and genuine nature of the owners and how they welcome us in like old friends. The food is not only delicious but every mouthful leaves you with the comfort that it has been created from authentic family recipes and prepared with love and soul. I am not one to ever pass up a good noodle soup. The pho here at Ngon is hands down my favourite in Brisbane. The broth provides a depth of flavour that is so clean, unique and satisfying. The fresh, quality ingredients shine through every hot spoonful of broth, paired perfectly with soft silky noodles. But my all time favourite noodle soups from Ngon are the Spicy beef noodle soup (BBH) and Crab noodle soup. These are not featured on their menu but come up as weekly specials from time to time. If your stars align, you just might be lucky enough to try them. The flavours are perfectly harmonious and in those minutes of eating, all your troubles slip away. There are a variety of other delicious options to suit many preferences so you can all enjoy a night out without a fight. To me, Ngon is amazing Vietnamese food that is traditional with a modern touch. They are great value for money, provide fast, attentive service and you leave feeling the happiest you've felt all week. What more could you ask for?

Came here for a birthday dinner on Saturday night and had an amazing experience. The chef cooked up a delicious and healthy vegan spread that was absolutely awesome. The serving staff were also super happy and friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant for a superb night out!

We had a lovely meal here. Our table wasn't ready, but the friendly staff/owners were very accommodating. The food was excellent, and came out quickly, particularly as it was a very busy Friday night - definitely book ahead. The direction to the toilet area could probably do with better signage, though (downstairs and through the curtains :) ) We'll definitely come back to Ngon.

Best Pho ever! If you love Pho, you must visit this amazing restaurant. Very delighted to have found Ngon recently! The Pho here is different – a creative twist on the traditional pho, but it’s done in amazing taste. Never tasted anything like it, tastebuds and tummy both very very happy. Absolutely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. The food is delicious and really treated with a lot of love - traditional flavors as well as modern versions. The staff are so friendly and welcoming (even when we arrive right the minute they open on a Sunday morning for brekky!). It’s great to be able to order the main menu options at breakfast also.

This place is absolutely amazing. I attended here with a couple of friends to take part in the #phochallenge2019 unfortunately none of us succeeded but we had a great time. Tuan (the owner) and workers that spoke with us and cheered us along have to be some of the best hospitality workers I have ever met and I've worked in the industry for over 10 years. Tuan stated that he eats Pho everyday, and that is evident by the Pho he serves. The flavors and aromas are incredible, even whilst half way through the massive bowl I was still enjoying each and every bite as though it was my first and even asked for a nice glass of red to complete the romance of flavor dancing across my tongue. If there is only 1 thing you do before you die it must be enjoying a meal (possibly a pho) at Ngon in Brisbane. Highly recomend 11/10
