Nice decor. Quite to the theme. The food is great and quite large and filling. The options can cater for all tastes. Convenient to visit if you do a movie also. The milkshakes are worth a mention!

We joined a friend for lunch here on the weekend. First time for all of us. The friend chose cabbage salad; I had a chicken salad bowl, while hubby had a Vegan Beyond burger. And we added sweet potato fries (with aioli $2 extra), which were great! – thin, crispy and sweet. And great that the dip was in a bamboo container. The friend drank sparkling water, I had a piccolo of Prosecco, and hubby had the best strawberry thick shake either of us had ever tasted. It was so good I nearly stole it from him. There wasn’t a huge amount of grilled chicken in my bowl, but it was tender and flavoursome. There was a good amount of avocado, but I found the rest of the bowl somewhat overpowering, in that all I could really taste was vinegar. The tabbouleh, the salsa, the cabbage, the pickles – everything was soused in a fairly strong vinegar. Sadly it all ended up tasting the same and I gave up pretty quickly. The friend didn’t eat much of his cabbage salad either, though hubby enjoyed his vegan burger. But he said a mushroom burger probably would have gone down better, as the vegan patty emulated beef – so why not just eat beef, my friends? I just don’t get faux meat … Anyway, our waitress was pleasant, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we all enjoyed the get-together. Not bad for a last minute choice of venue.

Good customer service. Had the babyback pork ribs and it is really well cooked; tender and juicy, not over cooked and dry. Also not smothered with too much sauce (the way I like it)! Burger was also one of the better ones I’ve had in awhile. Keen to come back to try the beef ribs next time!

everything was good. premium baby pork ribs were perfect, cabbage salad was really nice fresh and perfectly dressed, and tart. Sweet potato chips were well cooked, crunchy yet soft. My Eating companion, mentioned that he had been before and the chicken burger was excellent, though I didn't try it on my visit.

After our experience the night before at BIG R, we were still craving a good rib and so we tried this place out and it was a much better experience, although we had to clean our own table as it was dirty from the last people that used it (or this would have been 5 stars). The lamb ribs were amazing and the deal with the two burgers was just perfect for us, so very please and will return here again for when we want to next head to the cinema in Fortitude Valley.

Large quantities, generous servings. Very mainstream cuisine with chips, heavy sauces and hefty ribs. My friends seemed to enjoy their ribs except for one who struggled to find a halal menu choice. I was feeling like something lighter so I had a vegan burger, which was filling enough but a bit heavy on the sauces and too sweet in flavor overall between the bread, sauce and layers of inclusions.

Update! Review of the Milo Thickshake. After my review below the manager invited me back as they have returned to the original receipe. I went back and was very very happy. Original review - The Milo thickshakes used to be amazing, now they are terrible. They have changed the recipe. A weird grainy or powdery texture and I can no longer even taste Milo. Sadly missed and won't be returning 😭

Great ribs, but we always come for the steak which is always cooked to perfection. It's hard to find a place that gives you a medium steak when you ask for medium which is what we always get here. The cabbage salad was delicious! We have been to many steak restaurants over the years, and this is one of the best! Lovely atmosphere, food was hot and fresh and the taste was amazing. Will be returning for many more wonderful experiences :)

Busy non-stop people flying in ordering food and the ribs and burgers beef in the middle looks really good. Decent burgers but the standard patties are not very tasty. It says it is rib + brisket but I can’t help but speculate that it is mostly briskest with very little rib, there is not much flavour and they are dry. I would have eaten the wagyu pattie but they were out.

I would actually give it 3.5* but you cant do it. The South African lass that served me was great as was the rest of the staff. Sitting at the table it was alarmingly sticky and the staff assured me it was clean and was a problem with all tables. It was clean but please fix this problem as apart from ordering it is customers first experience before food and just doesn't feel right. Got the mighty bacon and cheese. Homemade patty was good although I think you guys could cook them a little less. There was also a bit too much bacon and it overtook all the other flavours. I am from the school that everything tastes better with bacon but you can have too much of a good thing sometimes. Take about 1/3 of it off. I find a lot of the different style of buns a bit perplexing as I think the old school toasted white bun is just simply the best. My only real gripe with the burger was how the bun started to fall apart about 1/2 way through it and made it a real messy finish. Hands were way too greasy to pick up phone to take a pic. Just wish burger joints would make their buns a tad wider with a little bread overhang so as to keep it together longer. Overall though it is a good tasty burger and experience, but not awesome.

Had a great time here! The Pork St Louis ribs is not bad! I asked for half basting to taste the most original flavor, and it didn’t let me down! Yet, it’s a little bit too dry, and a little much over roasted. The beer Twisted Palm is nothing special. Sooth but the flavor is too simple. The apple cabbage severed with the ribs is just little disappointing. It tastes light, but the cabbage and the whole salad just needs some different flavor, or a taste! Otherwise it’s too simple and even little bit boring. I still recommend because the ribs itself can tell he whole story! It’s not as good as another restaurant called Strandcafe in Vienna. Yet it’s still on 2nd place so far to me personally. BYW, it’s quite a comfortable place here!

Staff here are wonderful and welcoming. Helpful letting me know extra salads on a burger don't cost extra so i could customise what I wanted. A lot of places do not take the time and effort to do this. Lovely girl named Maxie served me and she was a delight to encounter! I could see she was very proactive when it came to getting little jobs done. What a great girl to have part of your team. First time at ribs and burgers and the quality and freshness was outstanding, the inside so modern and bright with nice greenery too. Hats off to the chef and the whole team here And the food is so affordable!! Definitely will be back.

So, after reading some reviews, decided to give them a go... oh wow, so amazing. We had the st Louis burger deal. We got the butcher burger and added cheese. It also came with ribs, chips and coleslaw. The ribs, chips and coleslaw were great. But the burger. Let's just say we will be driving the hour to come back again over amd over again. Best burger I have ever eaten in any state I've been in.

Neighbouring eateries are relative more expensive ($24 for a plate of wedges at the "spoon" place over the road.... I mean what the?). The burger and wrap we ordered were both sensational and the malted vanilla thickshake sublime... I'd go back just for that! Well done!

Amazing service, we didn't have a booking but they were able to accommodate 8 of us on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The food was amazing and came quickly, the servers were so attentive turning up heaters and refilling our water, we felt so looked after! Liam and the other waiters are brilliant, great job!!!

It blew my mind. I was stoned and having a great night, when we found ourselves at Ribs and Burgers Fortitude Valley. I eat out… a lot… and when I ordered the baby back ribs, it was with complete confidence that I was about to be served a forgettable dish with no personality… no redeeming attribute. Wrong … oh my god, so wrong. My mouth exploded in flavour. Nuance, light and shade… I don’t know what the fancy name is for this… personality! Yes… this meal had personality. It wasn’t some recycled menu. It was a delightful memory served with pride. The staff were amazing. I felt so welcome. In fact, my waiter came over and shook my hand when I was leaving. It was a beautiful experience. I wanted to share it with you because I am so grateful to have enjoyed such delicious food presented with such genuine care and enthusiasm.

However, since they got rid of their 500g rump and replaced it with a 300g stirloin it's just not the same. The pink sauce seems different too, and not in a better way. I come here quite a lot and always have a great experience. Tonight there was a minor mix up where I got a beef instead of chicken burger. It was no big deal and I told the staff as such. My friend got an Oreo shake and schnitzel burger which were both awesome and my burger was still delicious. Next minute they came out with a full refund and apologies for the inconvenience. Wow So happy I'm came here for lunch. What a great place to end my holiday in Brisbane at this fantastic restaurant. Best ever milkshake, I could not ask for more. I never heated to Finnish that shake just great. One of the best burgers me and my family ever had to. Only tip would be the price, as it was a expensive lunch, but I guess the location of the restaurant is why the prices are a little high. Otherwise just amazed. Well done to you guys!!!

We have been to this place twice and the burgers are great. The wagyu patties are generous and succulent and they are reasonably priced as well. The decor has a funky, retro, butcher shop vibe and you can eat on the deck or inside. You order at the counter but they do table service which is also quick and efficient. They have some healthy options on the menu and good craft beer. For a relaxed and quick meal it would be hard to beat.

Stopped by here for lunch on Sunday and we were surprised by just how good it was!! The burgers were probably the best I’ve had in Brisbane so far (the I ordered the Aussie - so delicious, although you nearly need to dislocate your jaw to fit it in your mouth). We shared a large side of chips between 3 of us, and left entirely satisfied. Service was fast and friendly. Next time we’ll have to try the ribs!

Food came quickly but not too quickly to worry if it was precooked 😊. As you pay in advance there is no messing about getting the bill at the end which was great as we were going to see a movie next door. All in all a great experience and we will go back again.

Amazing, oily, crunchy onion rings and their pocket burger is great too. They used to make the BEST vanilla malt milkshakes hands down but have since changed their recipe up a bit and it's no longer how it was. Very disappointing but their other menu items will have me coming back regardless. They're a good, cheaper burger option for the area (James St, which in general is pretty exxy).

Ribs & Burgers is my favourite place to eat, hands down. The manager of this branch in particular is fantastic at his job and very personable. You see him wiping down tables and talking to peeps all the time, he's a great bloke. As far as the food goes? Amazing. The Aussie and Bacon & Cheese are our favourites, and they are always fantastic. The flavour of the patties and that pink sauce is frigging delicious. I want to steal some for home! Sweet potato fries are always amazingly cooked and good value for money. We can't get close to cooking them like that at home unfortunately. The shake can be split with two people and the milo flavour is definitely the best. The little chocolate balls they added recently made an already delicious shake even better somehow. Anyways, 11/10, I can't rave about them enough, and I would eat there every day if I could. Thank you for bringing the best burgers in Australia guys x

Always consistent good food when we dine here. Unbeknownst to us we accidentally ordered the main chicken tenders instead of the kids chicken tenders. When we spoke to the waiter they explained that the main didnt come with fries but he gave a side of fries on the house which made up for the mistake that we made when ordering. Nice guy!

This place has an interesting concept. Wasn't quite for me but still give them a five star as a lot of people will like their point of difference. The naked burger is a great concept and all the other food was good. Seating is a bit cramped so not really for group bookings.

I used to eat at Ribs and Burgers on occasion when I lived in the valley. I went back recently (having not been there in ~1 year) and was greeted by the staff who recognized me. There was an issue with my order (served me something I couldn't eat), and when I raised this with the staff member, he was incredibly courteous and apologetic and rectified the issue promptly. Then, to my surprise, he gave me a cash refund while I was eating my meal! The way this whole situation was handled was exceptional, and I can't praise this staff member enough for his customer service abilities. Also, the food is really good! Well priced burgers and their milo thick shake is a must have! I will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for some great ribs, you must try this place. I would highly recommend the Pork St. Louis (NB they have more meat then the Pork Baby Back ribs). By way of sides, the apple cabbage salad is delicious, but the chips are also amazing. The Angus Beef burgers are also really tasty, and well cooked (the Wagyu Original is another favourite). We visited prior to attending the cinema centre next door -Palace James Street. Decided to have a cold beer. Served only in bottles without a glass. Other glasses we were told were too hot out of the washer to use. We got our own water in a hot glass.. not so refreshing either. I asked for a wine glass to drink my beer from as these were not hot! My partner drank from the bottle. We were informed we would have to buy food to go with our drinks. We ordered some potato fries. They came in a small paper lined bowl and were hot and crunchy. Plastic bottles of sauce provided to go with them. There were no coasters for the table so pour drinks spilled their condensation over the table and our arms and clothes. A staff member came to the tables next to us and reset them by loudly scraping chairs metal chairs across the cement and banging tables together enough to get the attention of everyone sitting inside and outside. Unnecessary and very inconsiderate. No quite a leisurely Sunday!!! Not the most enjoyable of experiences. Perhaps we would have been better to have a drink at the cinema and sit at their tables or lounge area or another place nearby.

The ribs here are fantastic. A lovely basting across the rack, nice and tender texture just melts in your mouth. I had a slider with mine which was the perfect accompaniment. Very relaxed atmosphere and relatively quick service. Great for Saturday chow time with your friends!

Came here pre dinner rush and ordered a St Louis Baby Rack of pork ribs. Absolutely loved it. Ribs were tender and came straight off the bone with little pressure. Ribs & Burgers Waygu Big Cheese Burger is a genuinely authentic taste of America in all the right ways. The burger patty is plump, juicy, beefy and delicious. The onions are caramelized to perfection, the pickles and cheese are well balanced and great quality and the sesame seed bun confidently supports and embraces it all. The decor is delightful, the service is first class and, importantly, the food was brought to our table shortly after placing our order. Giving Ribs & Burgers 4 stars because I haven't tried most of their menu and the onion rings were more like onion strings where i prefer big chunky onion rings. If I was judging on the burger alone, I'd give 'em 5 stars because it's knock-your-socks-off good.

We had the bacon n cheese, great burger, not too much salad and even had grilled onions, c`mon now, how many burger joints put grilled onions in a burger these days?? The beef was tasty and non greasy so Im guessing it was real beef, another thing which is not common anymore. The chips were great, and the small size really is enough for two people. We also ordered a rump steak, jeezus, also very unusual to get a steak these days that comes out just as described on the menu, and by that I mean, cooked the the way you ordered it and also over the described portion size/weight. The 400gr looked like an easy 500gr. Im used to ordering a supposedly 500gr steak elsewhere, and when they drop the plate in front of you, you look in horror at a portion thats lucky to be a 300gr. So with that fact alone, Ribs & Burgers gets my vote for giving the customer the real deal with quality, portion size and cooked to your liking, not the chefs. Also worth a mention, free chilled water and a variety of sauces. The staff are courteous and very efficient and pay attention. Also liked the cutlery & serviettes coming out in tea billy`s, very cool. With so many Burger joints popping up now, its refreshing to see a place that stands out far from the rest and totally delivers not just promises.
