I have visited Smoked Paprika a few times now and this wonderful cafe is consistently great! The food is delicious, the cakes are so tasty and the coffee is amazing! Very high quality food and appropriate pricing. Fast service, nice staff. This cafe is worth the visit!

My favourite brunch in Brisbane!! Always really hard for me to go past the smoked paprika breakfast, which is to die for. Tried the breakfast burger which was awesome. Plus it came with halloumi chips - how good! Staff are very friendly and also very accommodating to my grandmother with her gluten allergy and specific coffee order. Thanks!

Had a great brunch experience at Smoked paprika. The flavours were well balanced, coffee was nice, price was reasonable. Customer service was great, the manager came out to apologize for running out of mushrooms for my breakfast special and asked if they could change it to something else. They gave me a few options which was nice of them. I appreciate the effort that was made. I will definitely be back to try other dishes and recommend anyone to come here.

It's so refreshing to see a menu with some inspired and interesting options for breakfast/lunch/lunch. I had the Shakshuka which is a baked dish of eggs in a delicious spiced tomato base and it was divine. I've also had the zucchini fritters, with pumpkin, kale and eggs, which was very tasty. The service is fantastic and the barista is clearly passionate, putting great care into making the coffee. It has a relaxed atmosphere and is one of my new favourite places.

As a traveler and an avid food lover I can say that the experience of having breakfast at Smoked Paprika from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out is nothing short of great. The food is the most Soulful delicately elaborated meal I ever had for breakfast in Brisbane with a visible freshness that is impossible to overlook, the creative use of colourful ingredients that achieve a fine taste that will impress the most critical person. The atmosphere and the staff resembles somewhat of a Sunday morning visit to an old friend where you are celebrated with a coffee so aromatic a South American is automatically transported back to the rainforest. This place won my heart and my wallet also appreciated the excellent prices, well done chef.

I had a field day at this awesome restaurant today. (I was commissioned to photograph their food and then eat some of it, as an added bonus) Foodies, you should all go and check this place out! This is a Hungarian-inspired cuisine restaurant. It offers some unusual dishes I haven't seen anywhere else before. 4And yes, they taste as good as they look 😉 and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and personable too. They have some scrumptious-looking vegan and vegetarian dishes on their menu as well ( I didn't get to taste those but I'm sure they are delish!)

The scallops were a bit overcooked so slightly tough ☕ Crepes filled with chicken paprikash - super heavy dish and super filling. A bit too salty for me

Fantastic experience! Perfect combination of tasty food, complimented by friendly personable service. Had breakfast here with a colleague a few days ago and was really impressed with the entire experience. The only problem I had was trying to decide between about 10 dishes what to eat, eventually choosing the smoked paprika breakfast. which did no disappoint. The legends at Smoked Paprika cooked up a stunning brunch for me and my husband this morning. We had the mac and cheese balls and the beef goulash - both of which looked incredible on the plate and tasted amazing!! Sorry no pics, we ate it too quickly! We also had a delicious oat flat white and oat mocha. This is one of the few places I have been where non-dairy hot drinks taste so good. Topped off with great service, I will definitely be coming back!

One of the best brunch places I have been to and will def go back again if chances presented in the future. We ordered a lot that day and def too much for two people but we did absolutely enjoy everything. I ordered their special that day, beef stroganoff and it was out of this planet, def my favorite dish out of all the brunches I have ever had. The beef was so tender and the dress on the side was amazing. The pickled onion was just spot on and the acidity from the onion helped tone down the greasiness a bit, which made the whole dish even better. The pan fried mushrooms was equally yum and everything on the plate tasted right and not too much. My partner ordered a soy flat white and it was so lovely I had to order another one after having a sip but for some reason it was not as good as the first one. They did get super busy in the end but that shouldn’t be an excuse, and they should have maintained the consistency throughout. That’s why I’m giving them a 4. Besides the coffees, everything else was on point and cheesecake was great. But I personally don’t like no bake cheesecakes that much, it was still delicious.

Popped in for my breakfast after school drop off and was very impressed with the interesting menu combinations- can be such repetitive offerings amongst the Brisbane cafe scene. Nestled in the busy centre of bardon, finding parking can be difficult however there is a car park across the road with street parking outside the cafe. It boasts an extensive menu which caters for fussy eaters. Coffee was smooth, food came out quite quickly. Waiters are attentive and knowledgeable. Great for family and young children.

If you're in Bardon and you're hungry well, youve got few choices. Luckily one of those choices is Smoked Paprika. I rate this place highly, atmosphere and setup is basic, in fact I would not say that this place is esthetically inspired at all. But when every single thing I have ordered has been perfect ( I have visited a total of just 5 times ). Chips are some of the best I have had in my life, and I bloody mean that! It is the fact that ingredients are of high quality, food prepared fresh, flavours, textures and presentation is perfect. Serves are large, drinks and juices are delicious. COFFEE IS EXCELLENT! The price is normal for the area, but the value is way up there. The have cakes in a cabinet which all look good. A Toblerone cheese cake and brownie made its way home with me today too.

A bunch of us visited Smoked Paprika after the Champions League final last Sunday morning. Some of the people of the group had visited Smoked Paprika previously and suggested that we all go there. The staff were very friendly, the food was fantastic and not at all overpriced. If you are after a hearty meal or a light top-up, I highly recommend Smoked Paprika.

It took 30 mins to get 2 takeaway coffees. We checked 3 times on our order. The first time we were told that they'd find us when the coffees were ready and the other 2 times were told that it'll be another 2 mins because they're very busy. During our 30 min wait, staff were continually walking by while we were waiting and didn't offer to check up on our order. We could see that the cafe was busy and we're reasonable people but rather than fob us off and expect us to keep waiting, accept that you may have misplaced the order and make the coffees as soon as you can rather than put us back in the queue.

Food was excellent, unfortunately the service level didn't match. Ordered a banana smoothie and kids milkshakes once we sat down at the table. Kids milkshakes arrived after all meals had been completed. Banana smoothie never arrived (followed them up twice during the meal). No apology, just laughed it off saying we are busy. On payment I told them I wasn't waiting any longer for the smoothie....still no apology or understanding of why I was annoyed and then they tried to charge me for it. A simple "we are sorry for that error and of course will take it off your bill" would have sufficed and this rating would have been a 4 star. Service staff need to be properly trained!

Our server was friendly, informative and attentive. She offered us recommendations and without prompting, offered commentary on the dishes that patrons around us had chosen. We ordered the crepes and vegetarian fritters and we're not disappointed. Both dishes packed tons of flavour and were well presented. You know a place is good when you feel inspired to try and cook with new ingredients! Get the zucchini fritters. I've never had zucchini taste so good. The dish is extremely well balanced. The soft cheese on it is addictive. It's pleasantly cool because of the wind. However, we were bugged by flies. It's hard to fault the restaurant for that though since it was a particularly muggy day. Honestly though, the food was worth it.

It came with one small slice of bread halved. For a dish that requires a decent amount of bread this was the smallest piece Ive seen with a meal. Had to eat most of it with a spooon and was very acidic with no bread to cut through. Very unpleasant and overpriced.

I was not disappointed as the 3 breakfasts that we had were delicious, innovative and quite different to what we are used to. Each dish had so many elements which were a delightful combination. Does this place make any bad food?!? Honestly! I can’t resist anything in the menu or what’s baked in the cabinet. Great service too, the waitresses are real foodies at heart and the I got cake on my birthday last week. I’m here again now... last week was Bounty Cheesecake, this week it’s either Ferraro Cheesecake or Banoffee. The menu... it’s impossible to choose something you won’t love. Despite being run off their feet today, all the staff were very attentive and kind. Very accommodating to coeliac disease, vegans and nut allergies. They were very friendly and didn't charge extra for gluten free bread or alternative options for vegans. The staff were so wonderful. My new favourite Brisbane cafe! The service here was next level, the were staff always accommodating us at each stage of the dining experience. I had one of the green smoothies to start. It was very natural, smooth & not overly sweet. I chose the Sweet Potato Hash for Breakfast. A crowd favourite 3/4 from our table selected it. How delicious, avo, goats fetta, sweet potato hash & a large serving of bacon definitely hit the spot. Worth the wait in gold, but make sure you book ahead.

The only feedback I would like to give the owners is to make the birds eye chilli a permanent thing - Sometimes our meals come with that chilli and sometimes its the mild one. What a really cool place with a touch of Eastern Europe to keep things spiced up! The goulash (Hungarian Stew) was authentic, uncomplicated and very, very delicious.
