This spot has it all, pool, food and plenty of shade. Very kid friendly and suitable for adults to swim in too. Patrolled by lifeguard as an added bonus. Would strongly recommend to come here if you have young children. Plenty of eaters not far from here. Open till late. 💥

Fun place to eat with family friendly options. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff with fast service. 3 adults and 2 children all with different meals and all said the food was amazing. Crispy Salmon was cooked perfectly for me, fat Doug burger was perfect size and amazing, fresh taste with home made patty. Jackfruit burger (VO) was the best vegan burger he’d eaten. One child had fish and chips which was a decent serving, while the other had dumplings. Both said the food was amazing. Only thing took away from scoring was the music was a little loud.

Southbeach Social hosted my husband's 40th birthday over the weekend and we cannot thank them enough! The service was excellent with food arriving promptly throughout the evening. Speaking of food, it was incredible! The mini cheeseburger sliders were divine! We even had an unexpected vegetarian guest attended and it wasn't too much trouble for them to bring extra out for him to eat. So wonderfully accommodating!

I had a gathering with friends for my birthday at the Cabana Lounge at Southbeach. I was very impressed with the attentiveness of staff, canapes came out promptly and we had all around great service. I highly recommend hiring one of their lounges for your next get together with friends. Their cocktails are great too !

We wondered into South Beach after going on the Ferris Wheel. Sammy our bar tender was amazing, recommended new drinks for us to try, and was just incredibly friendly and funny. Emily and Elly made the night even better when they casually moved over to our table after hearing our conversation and just made the night that much better, they talked to us about absolutely everything and took care of us, even tho they didn’t have to and made sure we made it to our car safely. Instantly made new friends that night and will definitely be going back to South Beach. They made my friends 18th an night to remember 🤍.

Meal at the Southbeach Beer Garden. Quite for a Thursday night. Fish and Chips were well prepared and tasty. Chips were exceptional, hit and crunchy. The pint of Furphy was cold, and washed the meal down very well. All in all, a pleasurable night out.

Southbeach Social was our chosen spot tonight for dinner & drinks with a group of friends. We needed a handy South Bank location with a menu which would cater for a small group of people with varying tastes. Southbeach’s menu was perfect as it offers everything from pasta dishes to pizza, burgers, salads to steaks & oysters. The staff are very warm & friendly and greeted us on entry & said goodnight when we departed. I was very impressed with the layout of the bar area & the comfortable couches. Seating along the balcony provides great views of the South Bank pool. There are plenty of quiet spots if you want a more relaxed & intimate evening.

Fantastic location with good views and a nice fresh decor. The front benches were caked in bird poop though which someone should have spotted and cleaned off (it wasn't fresh!). Also our order was wrong and we were told VERY quickly and confidently "it doesn't have avocado in it!". It was right there on the menu. Right there! A shame she didn't believe us or check first before writing off what we'd told her. It could be a lot better but it was still good. Largely due to the location.

Revisited Southbeach Social today on a perfect Brisbane winter day- 25 degrees and sunny. So happy to arrive to see their new menu ready to go! Our table had a huge feast- all super generous portions delivered to our table with friendly service. We tried the pea and ham croquettes which were delicious, crunchy and the pea sauce incredible. The duck charcuterie was also amazing and the halloumi fries we couldn’t stop eating- so moreish! Our mains were the lamb, the beef ribs and the artichoke ravioli. Delicious flavours, huge serves. Of course the kids were happy too with their dinosaur nuggets, salad and chips (and ice cream and drink). Great spot. Great food. Well done Southbeach Social. We’ll be back!

We held an event at Southbeach Social's lookout room and it was amazing. The room was setup so beautifully, and all the staff ensured it ran smoothly and all our guests had the best time. Would definitely recommend holding an event there!

Pizza needs an overhaul. Went for a quick drink and a bite last night. Drinks were good. Got the pork pizza, the meat on the pizza was a bit bland in my opinion, and the cheese tasted......bad, I'm not really sure how to describe it but I didn't like it. The crust was actually very good, and the sauce was nice but a bit absent in the overall flavour when you took a bite of everything. We finished the pizza, but the cheese made it....not the most enjoyable. The limited time I spent at the bar ordering drinks was great! Bartender was friendly and fun to talk to, and he makes good drinks! Sadly didn't get his name.

We’ve recently been to Southbeach Social during our recent visit to Brisbane. Both times were really worthwhile. It’s a great spot on the river and a nice atmosphere. The food and drink options are good, and most importantly taste fresh and come out quickly. I really enjoyed the oysters and their rump steak. The service by the team was always very friendly and accommodating. Even near closing time they were still respectful of us being there and allowed us time to finish our drinks and head off. I recently hosted my daughter's 1st birthday at Southbeach Social's Market Pier event space. It was a simply flawless day and I'm so delighted to share my experience. Jane was extremely helpful in assisting me to book and coordinate the function whilst I was living abroad in Canada. It's not easy to find a venue that will take a group of nearly 30 without expecting a minimum spend. All that was asked of me was a $10 deposit per person, which I thought was very reasonable. The only slight criticism I have is that the deposit was not able to be refunded upon our arrival at the venue and instead could only be redeemed as a bar tab. For a function that had asked it's guests to pay for their own lunches, this presented somewhat of a challenge and in the end we decided to absorb the cost and offer our guests their first drink on us. Rob, our coordinator on the day, assisted us in providing drinks tickets for us to pass out at the beginning of the event. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the space we'd booked. Having never seen it ourselves before the day, we felt the Market Pier was nicely nestled away from the other patrons, with lovely views of the market. Whilst sometimes a little squishy due to the long narrow situation of the pier, we were all very happy and had plenty of space to accomodate our group. Meals were delivered lovely and quickly and everyone seemed very much to enjoy their meals (I certainly enjoyed my lamb salad - YUM!). Rob was also kind enough to house our birthday cupcakes and bring them out when we requested. In fact, we found all the staff to be very helpful and accommodating the entire day. We were very fortunate to have kept the rain at bay right up until the conclusion of our event after which time it absolutely bucketed down. I think the event may have suffered quite a lot if that had happened due to the semi-outdoor nature of the space despite the plastic curtains that would have been deployed. Not so much a criticism, rather a caution to any other patrons looking to hire that particular space. I'm so very pleased to have selected Southbeach Social and held my function there. The location was exceptional, the staff fantastic and the space spot on. I'd hold many more functions there if I lived locally and encourage my friends (and you) to do the same. Thanks again to all the staff on the day, Rob and to Jane.

Really enjoyable atmosphere and the service was good. I find the requirement to order at the bar a little annoying. Food was ok...we had the rotisserie chicken. We ordered extra chicken as I don't feel 1/2 chicken is sufficient for two hungry guys. The chicken was well over cooked. When the thigh is tough you know it's bad news. For somewhere that specialises in roast chook you'd hope for better. Coleslaw was ok but lacked a reasonable dressing.

It all started when we decided to come down to the southbeach social for a sneaky bevy or two! sitting back drinking some cocktails then all of a sudden out of nowhere a lovely lady appeared from the midst of the horizon. She stood there and smirked and said would you guys like some pizza for free and we replied "what for FWEEE?? and she said yes for groups of 4 on weekdays! We all looked at each other startled and in disbelief, then we huddled, had a briefing and decided the only option was to go with the calabresi free pizza! What a good it was🤙

For my birthday, we attended the bottomless brunch and it was a great event. For about $66, we had an amazing spread of food and drinks that were completely worth the price. The staff were fantastic and very accomodating. We had a great time and I reccomend the brunch for any event!

Warte seit über 40 Minuten auf meinen Cocktail… der Laden ist nicht voll. In 30 Minuten schließt der Laden, wenn ich noch länger warten muss, darf ich das Getränk auf Ex trinken. Sowas geht gar nicht. Trotzdem eine schöne location. Update: Ich habe nochmals nachgefragt, dabei ist aufgefallen das die Bestellung untergegangen ist. Er hat sich mehrmals entschuldigt und kam auch noch einmal extra zum Tisch und fragte wie der Cocktail schmeckt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und das es ihm wirklich sehr sehr leid tut. Der Cocktail ist wirklich sehr lecker. Deshalb gebe ich 3 Sterne, da es wirklich sehr ärgerlich war.
