Absolutely delicious food and lovely service! The brisket was the best meal by far, followed by the Mac and cheese. Bit of a wait for food considering we were the only people there, but definitely worth it. We did order quite a bit of food. We will be returning!

The locations is inside a hotel so it is very difficult to find. There was no obvious signs anywhere. The restaurant does not have many tables. The pull pork burger had no taste, just some cheese on top. The size of the meal was decent.

The Trailer Park and the Philly cheese steaks are fantastic. Amazing burgers, great service. The burgers are juicy, crispy and very filling. And they have moonshine too! A hidden gem in Springwood. 5/5 burgers.

Our first time dining here and we were not sure what to expect from the outside. The street is quite industrial and far from fancy, or even a place you'd expect a restaurant. But when we got inside, we immediately noticed the cool decor and that quickly put a smile on our faces. The menu is not extensive, but had a good selection and certainly not overwhelming. The food was delicious, and my husband said it was one of the best burgers he's had for a while. I loved my chicken burger. There was a good amount of spice to it too. The wait staff were very enthusiastic and helpful as well. We are glad to have gone and gave it a go. It's certainly a pleasant surprise.

Excellent restaurant. We came here for a low key birthday function and we were all very happy with our experience and the wonderful service. They have a huge range of American bourbons, whiskeys and ryes, plus some of the better known American beers. The Death Wings were too hot for any of us to eat, and we had two Malaysians who were raised on chilli - they tapped out. If you like American food and alcohol, definitely come here.

We came for the bourbon and were not disappointed. There is a great variety to choose from. The meals we tried were delicious, though they took a while to arrive. I have eaten at The American Bourbon Bar & Grill numerous times. The Beef Brisket is my favourite and the best I have ever had. I rave about it to my friends to go an try. The meat melts in your mouth, it's so tender you don't need a knife. It is clear that the American chef Steve, cooks true and authentic American food to a quality rarely seen or tasted here in Australia.

Amazing amazing food!!!!! Super awesome friendly staff. Tonight we were served by Angie who was just 'top shelf' with customer service and was amazing with my children. The prices are really good compared to the sizes and quality of meals. Definitely recommend a side serving of the death sauce. It's just one of those things everyone should try before they die!!!!!. Only suggestion I have is having child sized meals (like sliders and chicken bites) on the menu. We are in food comas at the moment but we will be back. Amazing!! Had the Alabama sizzling shrimp as a starter, they were fresh and so tasty. The beef ribs fell apart as soon as I touched them with my fork and the BBQ sauce was delicious. My fiance had the Philly cheese steak which was also amazing, the servings were generous we couldn't finish it all. The drink options were great with such a wide variety to choose from. Angie and the girls were so friendly and very attentive, we look forward to returning soon.

The food and atmosphere here is excellent! To top it off the customer service is the best we've ever experienced from any restaurant. The second time we’ve been, the food was just as delicious as we remembered and being served by Keara really topped the experience. She was warm, polite and attentive. The other staff (Sunny and Angie) were also delightful and attentive. We ordered all the starters and shared amongst the three of us and would absolutely order all of them again. This place is located in a nice quiet area, quite cosy actually. It was our first time dining in the restaurant yesterday. I was greeted nicely by a waitress, and asked if we wanted any drinks. We ordered, when the food arrived we were amazed by the presentation and size. Overall, our experience was awesome, we felt accomodated, welcomed and most of all left with full tummy's! Great staff, great beer, great fries and great shakes. I love that you can spike the shakes; great twist. The burgers were a bit sweet and both the burgers and onion rings were a bit too greasy for my wife and I, but I suppose that is the authentic American style 😅. Have had many takeaways from here but finally had time to dine in today. If you are looking for a massive, mouth watering feed with flavours that can only be discribed as sin on a plate then make a booking now, you won't regret it. The front of house staff were friendly, helpful and quick with our orders. Sunny is a fantastic host always with a welcoming smile and good chat. The decor is an awesome conversation starter as well if you are one lost for words (personally never had that problem haha). Worth the visit.

Great place for a good feed and actally American food. Nice filling meals with not a huge menu but plenty of choices. Not a place for young kids and family more of a big kids and older family get togethers and perfect for a friends catch up. We had a mix of the food and all came out as we asked well cooked plenty or sauce or butter given with the meals they are listed to come with. Definitely will be back for sure.

Good service and nice decor. However the food is really average which is surprising due to the high number of positive reviews seen online. Also the prices are a bit high for the flavour that you get - the steak for example was a nice cut of meat but was overcooked and was quite bland (no seasoning) plus the sides such as the coleslaw had no flavour. The Reuben sandwich was 70% sauerkraut the rest were the other ingredients. Went in with high hopes and sadly disappointed in the flavours.

I ate here for the first time on Friday night and was surprised at how good the food was. I had the slow cooked brisket and it was absolutely delicious, melted in my mouth and was very generous in its serving size. My wife had the chicken waffles and again they were scrumptious and larger than normally expected. Squirtle was our waitress and she was very helpful. The drinks menu is huge. I had my first experience at the bourbon bar on Thursday night. I requested a table for 5. 2 adults and 3 children inc one high chair. I also requested that we be seated in a position that would enable my kids to have a little freedom but at the same time not bother anyone else’s dinner. I arrived on Thursday and the restaurant was smaller than expected and I was instantly anxious about my experience to come. However My anxieties were instantly calmed when I was lead to the function room by the waitress where we were seated alone. My kids had complete freedom and my wife and I had some privacy to enjoy our meal for once. The staff were VERY attentive to not only my wife and I but also to my children. These guys did an amazing job in making our experience a great one and the food was absolutely amazing. This was my fifth wedding anniversary dinner (the staff had no idea of this) and they made our night a really really enjoyable experience. WELL DONE TEAM!!! You guys did an amazing job. You should all commend yourselves on your excellent customer service.

Went for my 13 yo sons Birthday, he wanted a decent steak for his birthday dinner, ABB had good reviews so i thought we'd give it a go. Although small and unusual to find in the foyer of a hotel, we had a very enjoyable dinner, Price point was just a little above average but we did have the '14 oz on the bone rib eye' plus entree's and desserts. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavours, although we are not drinkers, I did notice a good selection of beers and moonshine. The menu is not over done, meaning there are not 100's things on the menu to confuse you, They do a couple of variations of different proteins and only a handful of entree's & desserts but they do them very well! We will be back Just remember to book ahead as we went on a Tuesday night and it got quite busy as the night progressed.

Great little place that's unassuming when you walk in the front door. But has a great selection of drinks including American beers and many flavours of moonshine. Tasty food and great service by Emma on the evening we spent there. Also good portion sizes which meant we couldn't fit in dessert. The American Bourbon Bar & Grill well and truly exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent and the food came out of the kitchen promptly. Both my meal and my partner's were cooked as well as you could imagine, along with being a decent portion size for the price. Don't skimp on your moonshine budget when you visit, as you'll be especially pleased with the cherry moonshine if that's your jam. It won't be long until I'm back, enjoying a New York Strip and some of the many choices of moonshine.

Not usually one to do reviews But found this place while visiting Up north . WOW it was superb . the staff were so friendly especially Sunny and Salina and the food was absolutely fantastic . The chicken wings are to die for followed by a rib eye steak then wash it down with some quality long board beer. I was that impressed we visited the place twice in a week while in Brisbane . Please open one of these restaurants down in NSW . Great dinning experience for my Family loved it .

My partner and I had dinner here last night and the food was absolutely amazing!! We started with the Spam Fries... I know what your thinking SPAM! But they just tasted like crunchy bacon sticks of goodness. For mains my partner got the Kentucky Derby & I got the Pork Sirloin Hawaiian Style both were mouth watering, really good quality produce and the flavors worked together so well! The staff were also really nice and made you feel really welcomed, cute little lay out, and good music. Would highly recommend to lovers of American BBQ food. We will be going back again soon as I want to try everything!

Tried this place out of the blue. Didn't know what to expect the service and the food was fantastic. Staff couldn't be faulted and that goes for the food as well. We had 8 st our table so a good selection of food was ordered and everyone enjoyed. Definitely going back.
