This is the place to get an old fashioned good Aussie burger. Generous portions, good dine in facilities and a fairly sizeable menu with lots of options. I reckon the Burger Barn will bring back memories of getting take away when you were a kid, and before burgers in Australia were influenced by the US burger trends. A good spot for a quick, no frills, no fuss dinner.

Wanted to scope this place out for the first time. Pros - great burger, fresh ingredients and friendly service. Cons - everything on the menu is priced as single items ie; $17 burger, $3 chips etc etc. If you have a family to feed you are close to paying $100 or maybe more.

Great little burger joint, meals weren’t overly expensive and full of flavours. Onion rings are fantastic, over all great service, friendly staff and a good meal. Will be coming back

This place is a delight,we went yesterday for the first time. The food was so fresh & patties home made, both the chicken & beef were amazing so too the fresh fries.I would definitely recommend this.

Step up from McDonald's but definitely not a gourmet burger. The beef patty should be the star of the show but this isn't the case with The Burger Barn. I liked that they provide free aioli. A lot of places charge for that (ie Jimmy's Burgers charges AUD 2 for a sauce). I liked that the provide a big bottle of chilled tap water without asking. The server was good.

Fantastic service and delightful food! I would have to say, my favourite burger place in Cairns. The restaurant has a lovely cosy and welcoming feel to it, great for a meal with your significant other or the whole family. Highly recommend 😍😊

I went here with a mate after we'd heard about the new burger place in town. What a pleasant surprise! The burgers were FANTASTIC, fairly priced and the staff extremely friendly. I loved the inside of the place, with a local 'outback' kind of feel. Both the perfect venue for a relaxed burger and still nice enough to go on a date! Well done Cairns!

We thought we'd give it a crack for something different (we were all craving a good burger) and we were definitely pleased. All the burgers we tried were delicious, the chips were fresh and had a lovely seasoning, and those onion rings are awesome!! Thank you Burger Barn! We are definitely coming back!

Took my partner for dinner here for the first time for Fathers Day. Very friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, food was delicious and wait time was next to nothing. Prices seemed a little high but once you sink your teeth into the mouth watering burger the price speaks for itself. Will definitely be back.

Excellent variety, fresh ingredients, lean beef, milk bun. What more can a burger lover ask for. Don't be afraid to mix and match. And they have beetroot if you want it. Super friendly service. A must visit, and one visit won't cut it, you will want to try more.

If I could add more stars I would. Just inhaled a “Meat Lovers” burger from this place and let me tell you. It’s beefy! So fresh and delicious. Cheese dripping off the patty, nice soft buns and the sauce... wow! A bit pricey but you get everything that you pay for. Staff were friendly and the table service is a nice touch. Inside the place lives up to its name. Tidy, clean rustic vibe. 10/10 a good time!

Really loved it, will definitely be coming back. Would be great for a group of around 12 and under. The Burgers are really good not disappointed at all. Only wished the bun was toasted a bit more. Service was outstanding, and food came quickly. Highly recommended.

Sorry, but can't give more stars. We went here not long after opening. Burgers and service were good, but...... the chips were terrible. They looked and tasted like frozen oven fries. If you predominantly advertise burgers and fries, they both better be made in store and good.

11/10 would recommend having a feed here! Had every burger on the menu more than once and can safely say that they are all delicious! They are adding new items all the time and especially love the arancini balls and the Halloumi chips, excellent flavours. 😍

VERY quick service and our intereactions with three different staff where lovely. I loved my pulled pork burger and the chips were seasoned really well with a great garlic aioli... me and my partner were very full by the end of our meal and all for about $40 (including drinks).... could use a little more variety

Saw this place as we came into cairns as I refused to go to mcdonalds. Thought it was just a take away burger shop but realised it was a restaurant as we approached the front door. Our order was served only minutes after ordering. Burgers were very tasty. Made for a very cheap dinner. Everyone was very happy with the food and the kids loved the play area. Shame it doesn't seem more popular as it is a much better option that the big fast food chains.

Stopped in here on way back to Brisbane in August 2019, was actually doing a u-turn for KFC but saw thus place. Luckily we did as KFC was closed down and the burgers here were delicious. Daughter had a vege burger and loved it too. Compliments to the chef and staff who were very friendly. Cheers guys.

Pretty tasty nachos Grande burger, better than the Big fast food ones. Meal came out really quick and friendly service also. Kids enjoyed the Sleazy Cheesey Burger and chips.

I'm always scared ordering seafood from restaurants, but their grilled barra burger was something else, hands down the most fresh, juiciest fish I've ever had from any shop in cairns, highly recommend ! Staff there are great too :) Thanks for a great night out.
