The cafe is on the outside of shopping centre. Inside is made up of a variety of types of seating, with outside seating undercover available too. Dog friendly outside. Asked for menu but got told the menu was only available on the boards behind the counter. One other person also asked and got given some sort of menu so was confused as seemed strange how you can sit outside and work out what to order. We moved inside to sit and consider our options. You order at counter, with food brought to table. They find you by the number you are given. Water was a self help it seemed, which only regulars knew about. Seem to do lots of takeaway too. Was busy and staff seemed under the pump so no time to clear tables. Ordered the Angus beef hamburger, sweet chilli chicken wrap, caramel Latte and iced Latte for $33.90. Hamburger was nice and the wrap was on the ok level. Delivery of the food was a bit slow. Staff are friendly and doing the best in a busy environment.

Very nice Cafe with great service, nice coffee and well priced food. We always try to use this place as a shopping point on our travels north. It is situated on the end of a small shopping centre which is good but the parking can be a problem at times otherwise highly recommended.

Cute cafe at Childers. Easy to find a park and you can sit inside or outside. Food was yummy and great coffee. Maple pancakes were divine with generous helpings of cream and ice cream. Service was amazing. Our second time visiting and can't wait to pass through again.

This was honestly the best eggs benedict I had in a long time with a large cappuccino and biscuit to top it off. Will be back. For the last 5 years we've been driving between Townsville and Brisbane and this is our favourite cafe stop. The the service is delightful, food is always delicious and the coffee is perfect. The banana butterscotch pancakes are absolutely delicious.

Covid safe. They checked my vaccine status which is good and means less chance of getting sick here. Turmeric latte was delicious. Scrambled eggs were simple yet yum. Reccomend stopping here for a break if driving through childers

Amazing food and friendly service! I can’t put into words how great the drunk bean is. I ordered a simple burger and wow! The best burger I’ve ever tasted. My partner ordered a toasted sandwich and it was equally as great. Can’t wait for our next trip to Childers to visit. Thanks!!

The drunk bean is the perfect roadside stop! On the northern side of Childers, we were blown away by the friendly family that welcomes you into their home. Pikelets and scones like mum makes and coffee to rival Melbourne's best. Take a break and enjoy this place.

The coffee was first class service great n friendly but ordered ham cheese tomatoe sandwich on wholemeal after being asked which bread..?? It wasn't till I was back at my car on Bruce Highway that I found I had been given white bread which I don't digest very well.. I should have walked back but was on a time limit so just carried on my way! Very disappointing to say the least! Would not return to this eatery..

EXCELLENT ! I have been to this Cafe many times over the last 6 years. Consistently EXCELLENT. I live 40km away near Hervey Bay. Well worth a trip, even just for a Coffee or Tea, let alone a superb meal. The Menu is comprehensive and VERY GOOD. Staff are very helpful, always friendly and attentive. Great decor and atmosphere (once you're inside, or in the garden). Easy to miss if you don't know where it is. Just look for Woolworths. It's at the end of adjacent shops at the Highway end with busy, though plenty of parking available. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Extremely delicious food and high quality coffee! The service is sometimes a bit slow, but therefor the products are always super fresh and even more enjoyable. The staff is always super kind and likes to welcome you with a friendly smile. Comfortable ambience with a rusty vintage look, perfect to relax! We normally eat elsewhere in Childers but because of the covid lockdown on the Sunshine Coast we decided to do our shopping @ the woollies complex . The drunk bean was suggested by locals for coffee and lunch They did not disappoint. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We will be back next time we travel to Rocky.

Stopped over for breakfast early this morning at Childers. No one else open. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the breakfasts my wife and I had The staff were extremely friendly and efficient even going out of their way to provide an "not on the menu" breakfast for my wife. The decaf skinny mocha and pot of tea were also excellent. Great value for money here. I highly recommend The Drunk Bean. Thank you staff.

Drunk bean has great hot coffee but I ordered a Chicken, cheese, Avocado and tomatoe toasted sandwich and they forgot what I had ordered and had to find my docket so sandwich was late but worth the wait got two slices for an apology. The staff convinces with their friendliness and the vintage style gives the ambience a comfortable cosiness. The opening hours unfortunately end too early, so that you can no longer enjoy a delicious coffee after work. The prices are absolutely justified by the quality. (Original) Dieses Caffé ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist äußerst schmackhaft und Getränke super lecker. Das Personal überzeugt durch seine Freundlichkeit und der Vintagestyle verleiht dem Ambiente eine wohlfühlende Gemütlichkeit. Die Öffnungszeiten enden leider zu Früh, dass man sich nach der Arbeit keinen leckeren Kaffee mehr zu Gemüte führen kann. Die Preise werden durch die Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt.
