Comments of The Pancake Manor
L. J.
I love coming here. The pancakes are always perfection.
Ordered one of the breakfast sets, with a side of bacon. The food was delivered to the table and was piping hot, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.
The only down side is I can never finish more than two pancakes at a time. The food is consistently excellent.
Not as many menu items as I remember from years ago, but the items on there are more than enough to satisfy.
Not the fanciest pancakes you'll find in Brisbane, but sometimes all you need is a stack of buttermilk pancakes drowned in butter and syrup.
D. B.
This place is still as good when I was here back in 1997. Even though the pan cake size has shrunk a bit but the taste is still good 👍. Price is very reasonably cheap. Highly recommended when you’re in Brisbane city.
ツ.
Definitely lives up to its reputation. The food is all delicious, the staff are great, the atmosphere is fun. Even during peak times the wait isn't too long. Surprisingly busy late at night but it's definitely the best 24hr restaurant around.
L. M.
The architecture definitely contributes a star to this rating. Honesty it's as great as you can expect from an all night pancake restaurant. On the plus side, the overnight service and daytime service do not differ much. The staff are polite and the food is filling. Very few options for dietary requirements.
T. K.
Staff were quick to give us a table. Not a long wait. Ordered the Belgian waffle and chocolate jewels. Both were delicious. Would recommend
J. O.
Great service. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. While not listed on their menu, there were plenty of options for people with dietary requirements.
A. C.
This place is GORGEOUS! Historic and amazing location, friendly service, open 24h, licensed and much more. Alas the young manager charged credit card fees into a cash payment. I'll pay more attention next time. Try the signature pancakes like BANANA-RAMA
J. B.
Great range of pancakes and other meals at this eatery . Sweets are also excellent with helful staff . The building is a refurbished church and very well presented and restored.
D. B.
Excelent portions, delicious Flavour, prices are fair and the service is excellent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for the experience
W. J.
We were a Group of 7
We all Enjoyed our Pancakes of different selections.
The Restaurant has a good Relaxing Atmosphere.
Staff are Pleasant.
With Respect to the Management ! Please Attend Patron's Waiting to be seated and Pancakes another 20 seconds on the Cooker or increase the Temperature of the Hotplate.

Best pancakes! 10pm on a Saturday evening and the place was pumping.
Had the regular stack with whipped butter, scrambled eggs and bacon and the missus had Bananarama. They were delicious 👌🏾
S. S.
Best part ? Amongst rare shops in Brisbane that remains open 24 hrs. Good service. Pancakes were good. Menu is online - so with ongoing pandemic their services are coherent with ongoing times. Liked the place. Had ordered Bananarama & Lemon Iced Tea (28th Nov night), and loved both 👍🏻👍🏻
L. M.
Honestly a great all round experience. Friendly staff all round, great atmosphere with an incredible building details to look at and a sweet playlist playing those songs you forgot about!
The drinks tasted great, having a hot chocolate and a latte on soy, then food came out in a timely manner. The pancakes were light and fluffy, plenty of maple syrup provided and butter! The hash was great and was lovely to see on the menu. Kinda gave off an American/Canadian breakfast vibes. Overall taste was delicious!
M. M.
Friendly staff. Quick serving. No car park.
Nice atmosphere. Nice place for gatherings. Chocolate jewels that I ordered had a good garnish but the texture was rubbery and it was not good.
E. K.
The servers were kind, not overbearing but available when needed. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner, even though it was a busy Friday afternoon when I was there

We ordered the savoury crepes and the house tea ! Food was nice but for 3 crepes it was on the pricier side for what it was ($22). The asian girl wasn’t particularly nice though, when we entered she didn’t greet us either just asked to see our vaccination and pointed at the table available, there was another girl who served us I believe she may be Indian?? Sorry didn’t get her name, but she was so patient and lovely, we had asked her for recommendations and she guided us through the menu and dishes that she liked. Overall still a pleasant experience, and I think it’s quite unique that it was once a church in 1926.
y. f. c.
Budget deal for the lunch set. You can enjoy both salty and sweetly in one set. I chose the chicken and mushroom creepy followed by a pancake with ice cream and maple, also add on a flat white.
R. L.
Staff are lovely - the lady at the front counter is always a pleasure to be greeted by. Servers know their dietary menu really well. Made ordering really simple despite having multiple dietary needs. Atmosphere is great.
J. C.
They have definitely have cute concept! There is some deviation on the "old manor" concept with some random neon lights. But the staff were very helpful and welcoming.
I was surprised to see actual lunch items on the menu, might consider coming back to try them.
The pancakes were decent. Although the pancakes themselves could use a bit more flavour, they were nicely fluffy.
M. K.
Haven't been for over 30 years! Wondering what kept me so long 🤷♀️
Setting was incredible. Food was great. Prices reasonable.
Was told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait for the table but was told she'd check on a table just vacated. We were seated almost straight away! Told 40 minutes on top minimum for the meal. Wouldn't have been more than 15 minutes.
After eating, we were told to relax and enjoy ourselves, rather than rushing off, and offered water.
All in all it was a great experience that I will look forward to again 😊 Next time, we won’t leave it long.
The place hadn't changed. Still wonderful!!!
Y.
The environment of the place suprised me!It worth to have a try but the price is a little bit pricy. That is fair enough coz 24hours opening. Love the bananarama that u can customize add anything you like. Try the grilled pineapple one next time.
E. F.
Always a default of mine if wondering where to eat. Good savoury and sweet dishes (my personal recommendation being the exquisite blueberry heaven pancakes) and a varied kids menu. Obviously the building is an amazing place to eat in, and that combined with great food makes this a top recommendation.
i. h.
Great food, amazing menu. A little bit understaffed in regards to quality waiters, but it’s clear that it was a busy day and half of the waiters were training. The staff were very thorough and polite. The menu is online but you cant order through the QR code which is a hit weird
E. T.
just had the loveliest waitress ever!! she was so sweet and super friendly, just heaps of fun. the pancakes were delicious and they even put sparklers on the birthday girl's pancakes which was just delightful. thank you pancake manor!!
J. S.
Was a great meal to start my year at the Pancake Manor! I had the blueberry pancakes, my partner tried the banana and both were really good! The kids had caterpillars and Humpty Dumpty! We all left full and satisfied and it didn’t hurt the pocket as this wasn’t overpriced!
So why not 5 stars? Well I rang at 7am to book a table at 9-9:30 and was told on the phone that they can’t hold a table for me and that walk ins were welcome (for 7 people). Well we rocked up at 9 and where then told they had no room in the half full establishment because they already have bookings?! With this information I explained I tried to book this morning and was told to just come in. If yous were fully booked why wasn’t this explained on the phone instead of welcoming walk-ins? Other customers at the same time I arrived were having the same issue so I really hope this gets addressed ASAP because this lovely pancake spot could increase in business by 30%!
Changes.. iPad the area so the tables are highlighted when booked and staff can specify how booked you really are. We have a table for 7 available at 9:30. or for 2 people guest they could say we are fully booked but if it’s just two we could squeeze you in after someone is finished if your happy to wait 10-15mins. QR codes that people can order the food from can free up staff so experienced workers can answer the phone and take the booking.
I will return and hope to change this rating to the 5 stars the food deserves
S. M.
Customer service was pretty slow even though there was not many people. The black Forrest pancake was so so yummy they definitely go all out on big servings. The pancake was pretty much a brownie so yummy but not fluffy. Strawberry pancake was great! Super fluffy and tasty. Garlic bread was good but was clearly microwaved.
E. D.
Amazing food & service. Brunch menu has a good selection.
u. F.
It was ok, service was good and quick. Love the old church, haven’t been here in ages. Honestly though I have had better pancakes here in the past. I had the macadamia dish and I didn’t think the pancakes this time were worth it.
T. S.
Really good food. Def recommend the Bavarian pancakes. Will go again
L. H.
Having been around for a few decades now, Pancake Manor in the city is a known commodity - and a good one at that, especially if you are into sweet pancakes.
They have a decent variety of different flavourings/toppings, from chocolate varieties to black forest to macadamia. Prices for these range from $10-$16 dollars, serving sizes are quite large and reasonable for this price. Taste wise, the pancakes are fluffy and I have found cooked to a consistent level of quality, and are not "too" sweet in my opinion
I cannot comment on their savoury options as I have always been swayed to eat their sweet pancakes options 🤣.
In terms of setting, the atmosphere is nice and rustic, and a good place to relax with a few friends or your SO. Service is prompt, although you should always expect a 10-15 minute wait for your order.
N. F.
It's open 24 hours! You can get yummy pancakes anytime you like! Absolutely love the food. Service is on the slow side sometimes.
N. W.
Easy place to eat, Staff are friendly. Menu is on QR code. Can split payments waffles are my favourite. Unfortunately they had run out.
I recommend calling to book a table beforehand incase they are busy.
S. M.
So we finally decided to go to the infamous Pancake Manor. 🥞 Thankfully we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Other than the place looking worse for wear (I guess it adds to its charm), the service was prompt and food was ok. Staff were not enthused to be there, but they did their job well enough.
Pricing was average for the quality of food. Not a cheap meal, as we had desert too, but not expensive either. Would go back again.
K. N.
I have been here many times and it's always good. Unfortunately I couldn't get in because and I'm immunocompromised and didn't have a medical note. But the man at the door was very nice and I understand. Thank you for your hard work!
D. M.
Just like I remembered as a kid (except the massive chess set is missing) ... Beautifully fluffy pancakes! Both kids stuffed past full. About average pricing for the city.
T.
Pancake Manor is iconic and a must visit for brisbane locals and tourists. Come for the experience, the food and the history.
This use to be a church and you can different pieces of history through the restraunt.
K. S. A.
Lovely place... Loved the interior of the church which has being redesigned as a cafe. We had the Bananarama and the Strawberry patch, which were really tasty, fluffy and thick. Since we were there around 7.45 am had plenty of seating.... Definitely will drop by again to try their other flavors. Can highly recommend as a place for delicious pancakes in Brisbane ...
C. G.
The food is great, love the Short Stack with Maple Syrup and butter!
However, the experience is exasperating, as when I arrived , there was a great long queue to get in, when I did enter, the place was only half full, a lot of the staff ( not all) wander around in circles as In daze, difficult to get served, order incorrect but fixed later. Staff incredibly slow to sit people down, take orders etc.
K. D. W.
Light and fluffy pancakes for a reasonable price. Surprisingly good desserts. Coffee cups held a minuscule amount, shame one can't order a mug instead of a tiny cup.
Service was very slow, staff were busy chatting together about something, maybe work.
Great to see the same business running for over 40 years.
Yes, we will be back again.
D. N.
Been twice for breakfast and experience was the same. Food and coffee is great, but....
Still had to queue for 10 mins even though we had a booking. Then had to wait 20 mins to place an order, and that was just for coffee. Then more waiting to order food. Overall 55 mins from getting in to starting to eat.
U. T.
Finally I visited The Pancake Manor! Such an amazing place. A spacious place with amazing interior. Pancakes were soft, fluffy and thick in size. The staff is very courteous. We ordered nachos and it had meat and I don't eat beef, so we told them about it and they voluntarily changed it for us. I'd give them brownie points for that. Also not very heavy on the pocket!! Must try... I'm definitely coming back again
E. T.
The hidden gem of Brisbane CBD. 24/7 service. Love the nachos, Caesar salad and their selection of pancakes. Great place to finish up on a night out. Or just a chill place to hang out and talk with your mates.
J. K.
I've been to pancake manor many times, coming back after they have their off days as it can happen for any place. Always come to order a long stack to share with my partner as I can't finish it all myself. Tonight we came with 5 other people and wanted to try something different so we ordered the ribeye steak as well as some others. The steak itself was good quality and cooked how we ordered, only downside to it would be the sauce it came with which was basically just tomato sauce. Probably won't ordered that next time but keep up the good work. 💜👍
A. S.
I'm going to unashamedly review this from the perspective of a Melbournian. If you're expecting something akin to the Pancake Parlour, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Similar set up, however the food and overall experience are much better. Nice fluffy pancakes, well priced. The savoury crepe selection is great and tasty.
Would recommend, and open 24 hours to boot.
J. G.
Definitely not a bad feed, prices were very cheap and decent. Pancakes were a little bit plain, probably needed a bit more ice cream but definitely not an issue at all. Much more value than the pancake parlour in Victoria.
Z. J.
Amazing decor and environment. Went here on Saturday morning and was very busy but food came out fast. Lovely staff. Had the set menu breakfast, $12 for pancakes bacon eggs and a coffee, extremely good value and delicious. Would recommend.
t. c.
This place is so family friendly. Kids always love it. Such a great joint to sit and have amazing food. Women working there are quite attractive and from different walks of life. Great variety for the dads. Amen for the universe and it's amazing ways👍
K. P.
Great atmosphere and yes food as well. You can have pancakes in any variety such as GF, dairy free and vegan which was really great.
Keep up the great work.
F. F.
The restaurant looks like a rustic library building, its simple and old fashioned restaurant. With amazing antiques, displays and board with chalk written words.
The staff are good, however there are times that they are slow, not attentive. We ate around 10:30am, and the service was a little slow and some of the staff are not attentive. Anyways, good food.
When it comes to breakfast food, I love eggs benedict. So I ordered the eggs benedict with hash brown. I love the hollaindaise sauce and the crunch of the hash brown.
The nachos, its a little overwhelming and the beef or sauce is a little bland.
Good place for brunch.
J. L.
I ordered the seafood crepe in mushroom sauce. I'm not sure if it was wise to order savoury items in a pancake store that clearly specialises in pancakes and dessert items. Nevertheless, I can only rate the food from what I ordered.
The crepe was very bland and considering its a main course item, it definitely wasn't very filling. Maybe that's where pancakes should've come in...
We ordered a savoury pancake dish as the photos depict. Once again, I don't think savoury pancakes is this place's forte.
Very expensive for what was on offer in my opinion. Great atmosphere although staff were lacking and we had to try and flag down staff who just either were too busy or weren't looking our way.
I should comment that it's a good place to go to if you need food because it is a 24 hour restaurant... But be prepared to pay for it (in money and in health!)
M. K.
Went there Saturday night. Amazing food and large portions. Having this place open 24/7 is a dream, good midnight feed after a long night. Recommend!
J. P.
Excellent pancakes and crepes. Decent portion sizes too.
Beer selection fairly basic. Staff were very attentive at the start, and the food came out quickly. However we had to attract attention to ask for dessert once the main meal had been cleared away.
Dessert was delicious.
Ambience of the building is excellent too.
Overall a nice meal and night out.
K. K.
I thought the aesthetics of the building were beautiful. Huge ceilings and the seats were like pews. Service was pretty quick. Coffee and food came out quickly. I had the set breakfast with coffee, pancakes, sausage, and a fried egg. The pancakes were great but the sausage did not blow me away. Would recommend. Tip, when you are done, do not except a bill to your table. You need to go to the cashier to pay.
J. M. (.
I have not been to the Manor for decades, bit on a whim I decided to visit again today. It hasn't changed a bit. 😊
I had the reasonable lunch deal which gets you a Savoury Crepe and Pancake for $12.95. I had the Ham and Cheese crepe, served with mashed potato and a 🍅 sauce.
I paid a little extra to get a second pancake. I wasn't disappointed.
The good news is that the Crepes are gluten free and the pancakes can be made gluten free, for no extra charge.
j. h.
Really great selection of pancakes. 24 hours and licenced.
A. C. M.
Just the fact that I can go have a cheeky lunch at 2 o'clock in the afternoon followed by a little pancake with ice cream for dessert, knowing it's not crowded and noisy is heaven!
S. Z.
The Pancake Manor is located in an old church, with pews as booth seats, a soaring ceiling, and subdued lighting. The food was very good - a sweet crepe dessert definitely hit the spot (you can swap 2 crepes for one pancake).
The menu needs to be downloaded to your phone via a QR code, which was something I was not happy to do; so, the staff kindly provided a paper menu.
G. C.
It is not just great food and lovely service, but I especially love the beautiful setting in the classic architecture.
H. L.
It’s a good place to have pancakes with good atmosphere! The price is decent too. I like their lunch set which includes crepes and a pancake with vanilla ice cream on top
A. G.
Absolutely lip smacking and soul drenching food!! Everything you order is served beautifully in an amazing ambience.

The food here tastes wonderful, and the service here is amazing. Make sure to look out for Janaya, because she’s lovey.
Z.
Good choice of food and the chocolate pancakes were just perfect. Savoury choices as well. Staff are friendly and the venue has a great vibe.
v. b.
Great place! Similar to the pan cakes on the rocks Sydney! Best part open 24hrs..
P. N.
Great fun and yummy food. 24 hour eatery in the city, what a great idea. For a spontaneous idea or somewhere to eat after a concert or show. No deadline to arrive or finish. Loved it .
N. K.
Once again dashed up to Brisbane’s best pancake place with my sister. I can honestly say it was the best pancake.
G. P.
strawberries were sooooo nice and fresh, would definitely recommend only getting around 2 if youre getting pancakes, I only ate 2 and I can usually eat around 5 normal pancakes. but holy I wanna go back here again. caramel sauce was great. parents loved their meals as well. would definitely recommend. lovely customer service
T. M.
OMG a delicious treat indeed. Very filling and THIC pancakes. Beautifully decorated old building very pretty and old world like. Enjoyed our visit.
M. B.
Being in an old church, I feel it is unique. Nicely decorated but the restroom needs updating.
The pancakes and nachos were really lovely. We thought it would be nice for the waitress to let customers (especially tourists) know when taking orders that their portion are generous so that they can reconsider the amount of food ordered.
D. K.
I ordered a strawberry pancake and iced coffee here. Coffee was provided very fast but I had to wait almost 30minutes for pancake! But pancake was tasty so I was happy to eat them. I liked this strong butter flavor haha
Z.
Good choice of food and the chocolate pancakes were just perfect. Savoury choices as well. Staff are friendly and the venue has a great vibe.
C. P. S.
Love the atmosphere and surroundings although menu was a little bit plain. Beautiful pancakes definitely so would visit more often if there were a bigger variety
J. M.
Fluffy pancakes & the waffles are just as good,
Nice clean and definitely up to covid-19 practicing.
Been years since I've been to the pancake manner, And it's just the same recipe as it was years ago.
M. Y.
Coffee was OK, Chicken crepe was good, Bananarama was OK, and Blackforest was pretty bad. Cleaniness can definitely be improve. Always been positive with various Pancake Parlors in Melbourne Victoria, but very disappointed with Pancake Manor in the Brisbane city.
M. N.
Cool building - an old church. Food was delicious and price was reasonable. My pancakes were perfect, and fresh fruit. A bit sad that service took a while; we waited about 20 mins for our food to come out after ordering, and when you're hungry that's an eternity. But overall, great - would recommend.
T. B.
Hard to walk by this place.
I could go back four decades with memories of late night finishes then pancakes icecream and maple syrup. Mostly at some ungodly hour of the morning.
A mainstay of Brisbane.
Charm character and fond memories.
S. W.
Everything about this place was good except the pancake😣 The staff was kind and nice atmosphere but not the food. I went here in 2012 and ordered some pancakes but it wasn't good in my memory...no progress since then.
M. s.
Pretty basic pancakes and they lacked overall flavour. However, can't complain at that price range. Enjoyed the interior of the place and the history of the building. But would probably not go here again.
v. b.
Great place! Similar to the pan cakes on the rocks Sydney! Best part open 24hrs..
T. T.
24hr open every day that's impressive, the pancakes are amazing very soft and tasty together with a beautiful place to seat and eat old school style will come back soon for the bacon and eggs.
C. P.
The food here tastes wonderful, and the service here is amazing. Make sure to look out for Janaya, because she’s lovey.
T. B.
This place is amazing. Food is great, family friendly and covid safe. I'm definitely a repeat customer
V. K.
Nice place to hang out with friends! It's not a matter how many people are in your party because the restaurant have many tables in various size.
Especially, I liked the structure. It looked like a small cathedral or something related to religion in the past.
J. C.
My first visit back after being a regular a few years ago. The mushroom crepes were not as good as I remember - very heavy on the cream and sour cream. But still, a nice one off and a great location.
Z. Y. C.
One of the best places in town to eat awesome pancakes! This pancake restaurant is set in an old medieval church which makes it a really unique experience. It is also open 24/7 so it's a pretty good place for late night suppers. However the service today was rather slow and there was a mix up in the orders. Nevertheless it's still a decent place for pancakes and recommend it if you've never been here before!
S. S.
Big choice of sweet or salty pancakes in an interesting building. The pancake was ok, but the hash brown not so tasty and the eggs benedict looked more like a fried egg. For me not 16.95AUD worth. Sorry. I guess the sweet pancakes are better.
D.
Best service from Simon, happy demenor and nothing was any trouble! Pancake Manor are lucky to have him! # brown lady! 👌
A. T.
Amazing venue and the crepes were great, pancakes looked delicious. But, the Pancake Manor is not accessible for people in wheelchairs which was a let down as I wanted to take my partner, but now can't. They also do not do takeaway which is a shame for him and others who physically cannot get to the venue. However, I will not give just three stars because lack of accessibility could be due to the building being old.
A. K.
Yummy fluffy pancakes, lots of variety and GF options available to.
J. J. K.
pancake: quite great but nothing special
bacons, sausages: normal
coffee: so-so (the coffee wasnt my thing..taste like instant coffee)
the food was quite great but the buiding's exterior and interior design was super awesome!
worthy to visit for one time, cuz it has really cool atmosphere
M. P.
The first day the service was awesome and the people that served us was amazing. On the second day we were there it was like they were all distracted and got our order wrong. Food was nice as always
S. C.
We had attended Pancake Manor for dinner and once for lunch before. It has delicious food and beverages for service and also has a nice kids menu. The building is a converted Cathedral.
Very good for birthdays or just want to munch
E. C.
The pancakes were so-so but the servings were big, the wedges were good and the chai was well-made. I like the place.. it is quite unique. Went their for lunch and place was just filling up. The seats were a little worn though and i kept getting scratch by it.
S. H.
Pancakes were delish, had the tailored pancakes and chose my own toppings. So tasty!
P. K.
Wonderful breakfast can make your day shining.. If this is how I think then Pan cake manor is that wonderful place I can think of.
Delicious breakfast
M. C.
Very friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. Generous servings sizes (pancakes are more filling than you think!) and they have heaps of extras you can add.
K. M.
Service is the best here. Watched a server professionally and courteously handle a troublesome customer, and still served so politely. Food is filling and haven't had anything wrong from either the breakfast or grilled menus. A constant favourite to go to in the CBD.
A. N.
The Blueberry pancakes were extremely decadent. They come with a scoop of ice cream and a dollop of cream which really sets off the flavor. The pancakes, hash and eggs were very good as well. The syrup is also very fresh.
N. K.
Pancakes are nice and fluffy. They have an interesting variety of pancake items on the menu that make me want to come back and try them all. Though the place is always too busy during lunchtime, so I've had to go earlier to avoid having to wait in a long line. They might benefit from having more staff during the busy times.
S. B.
Seating a but cramped or awkward. Service and food were good. Portion sizes were huge. Couldn't eat it all.
J. B.
Great pancakes and 24/7 I can appreciate the Church adding to the atmosphere.

It’s a good place to have pancakes with good atmosphere! The price is decent too. I like their lunch set which includes crepes and a pancake with vanilla ice cream on top
A. M.
I have mixed feelings about this place. The pancakes are good, especially the sweet ones, the set prices are also good - 28,5 for meat and sweet pancakes. Good value for money! What I didnt like is customer service and waiting for food. I had to go and grab cutlery myself, no charm no passion of stuff unfortunately. Food also took a lot to wait. Meat pancakes came acceptable, but then I waited 40 mins for Macadamia one, although I ordered it in the first place. I had to double ask for it.
Overall, if you have plenty of time, dont mind dull service and want decent food 24/7 - this place is a winner. I’d give them 3.4 stars and perhaps even 4 if it wasnt waiting
A. G.
Absolutely lip smacking and soul drenching food!! Everything you order is served beautifully in an amazing ambience.
K. C.
A place that open for 24/7 in Brisbane I'd give them stars they deserve. It's located in the heart of Brisbane CBD in an old cathedral. Very easy to find. Heaps of pancakes to choose from. Make sure you are ready for a big serve.
R.
Great place, has not changed in years and doesn't need to. Glad you guys are still 24/7 too.
P. C.
好好食,好好味,必食!Wonderful place for pancakes, but don't forget to try the Belgium Waffles, it is lovely!! We went there for breakfast and after dinner dessert!! Very addictive!!
S. W.
Beautiful building, wacky decor from ye oldie times. Food was fresh and delicious. Pretty warm inside, not sure if the aircon was working? Menus were overused and grotty. Toilets were dirty. Small things that could be improved for a lot of customer credit. Staff very efficient and helpful if not overly friendly, but the place was busy, and they may have been understaffed.
K. I.
Friendly staff, seated quickly and food was great! Kinda pricey though but tastes amazing.
l. b.
Loved it ❤️
Open 24 hours (@ Brisbane city)

Pancake Manor is a family friendly pancake heaven with good value, delicious pancakes and great coffee! Would highly recommend going there while exploring Brisbane. The pancakes are also BIG so make sure you are hungry
M. E.
This is an exceptional place at any hour of the day! The pancakes are cheap and extremely filling and tasty! The service is always exceptional. If you are in a large group or coming during peak times it may be beneficial to book before hand. The only downside is the serving size of the chips is slightly small for what you pay but other than that an exceptional place.
V. P.
Had a beautiful meal here tonight highly recommend the mushroom crêpe and seafood crepe . Beautiful space and atmosphere here and we were spoilt by our amazing waiter Jaya , Who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable and suggested some beautiful meals. He is an asset to the pancake Manor we will be back ! So nice to be spoiled with good service and not charged an arm and a leg for a meal :)
P. P.
Famous for its prime location, historical building and 24 hrs service, but pancake and service aren't as good as other Pancake joints. Went there usually around 10ish on weekday nights, but still takes a long time for us to be served.
V. H.
Yummy pancakes and crepe with warm service. The interior is vintage looking. They are open 24/7 so you can visit anytime for some pancakes! If totally recommend mushroom crepe or bananarama pancakes.
C. A.
The Pancake here is OK, price little bit high but still affordable for ordinary. The gimmick for this shop probably about it open for 24hrs and the church outlook and interior.
A.
Simply delicious, the place is themed as a medieval manor. Food is served quickly and well you can add what ever extras you want to yoyr pancakes! They also do regular breakfast food as well!
B. H.
Highly recommend the seafood crepe, served with mashed potatoes and great mushroom sauce( yellow one ). Need reservation in the morning
T. F.
The place was on a very old church. Absolutely amazing. Crepes ok, my daughter loved her waffles. A bit overpriced though
M. S.
Beaut location in a old church, good prices good service and food delish.
S. C.
The food was really good! However not the service. It was two of us and when we entered a waiter told us that we would have to wait from 20 to 40 minutes to place the FOOD order because the kitchen was very busy. As we were not on a hurry, it was ok with us. We didn't know that we would had to wait around 40 minutes to also get drinks orders. 40 minutes waiting for two amazing beers. After we got to our table we became like the ghost inside the ex church. Invisible. Unfortunately even the ghost didn't care about us :-(
Other people where coming in and they got at least some drinks. Then when I saw that those people where placing food orders as well, before us, I started to waive any waiter passing around and on the opposite side, thanks god no life guard was there because it would have seem I was drowning in our invisible sea. End of the story: after an hour we got our lovely pancakes. Worth the wait? Very very good, but the wait was horrible as all the amazing food was passing by with the supreme smell and my belly was just craving more and more
N. K.
I love it here, super pricy if you over order but worth it if you like to spoil yourself and over indulge once in a while :) $65 bucks later just for my partner and I and some mash for bubba but must say I wasn't disappointed over all :)
L. M.
Great grubb at a great price.
Whether you are in need of a late night snack, or something to help line the stomach, this place has it.
Good selection of different pancake types, with vegan alternatives/options for almost all of them. Fun atmosphere as well. Staff are eager to take your order asap and food comes out at a reasonable pace.
T. N.
Delicious pancakes (not too sweet), interesting atmosphere, service not so great.
B. W.
Good ambience, place smells as old as it looks, desserts are ok, the steak is like rubber, waiter had a bad attitude, menu items are pricey for what's it worth, not really worth it in this branch, there are better branches of pancake parlour. Can come again if there is a group celebration or something
J. K.
Pretty good place, mostly serves pancakes and crepes, but also some breakfast dishes. Prices are ok (about $9-$15). Went here twice around lunchtime, had two different pancake dishes. Taste was good, a little dry tho. Unfortunately, service was slow and very hard to get server’s attention.
Neat restaurant and setting (in an old church), and open 24hrs. Supposed to be a bar downstairs but it looked closed off. Washrooms were clean.
S. B.
Great place! It have a lovely atmosphere and delicious pancakes! It's very crowded on saturday night. The pancakes come in 25 minutes.
k. s.
Very nicely made vegan pancake. We went here for desert and were not disappointed. They have many different options, and thankfully vegan options too. We ordered this one which was more than enough for 2 people. The decor of the place was nice. Would highly recommend it.
L. R.
Environment is interesting, in an old church building. Good options on salty (crepes) and sweet pancake. Service is slow and lazy.
R.
I adore places like this and physical location was awesome. The food was okay if not a little bland. The atmosphere was definitely lacking this time.
L. E.
Good food, but it does take a really long time. The hash brown was a bit odd, but the pancakes are always exceptional.
J. M.
Was there for breakfast on Sunday and the place was full! Was placed in a queue, but had a table within 10 minutes and food was also served quickly too. Big servings that were value for money. Staff were friendly and well organised!
J. R.
Awesome 24/7 breakfast menu, pancakes to die for. **Steep stairs down to toilets the only downside for anyone mobility impaired or wobbly on your feet.
K. G.
Been back here after 10 years, Foods were great, Pancakes were awesome and wine was delicious 😋
C. H.
Great staff. Nice place to with friends and family. Good atmosphere. Food is awesome!
T. W.
Very good place as always. Brings back old memories. The place looked amazing since it's an old church. The food was delicious. The staff service could be improved. Overall a good experience.
A. G.
What it says on the tin. Beautiful pancakes but I overestimated exactly how many I could eat. Wait time was a little long as they were overbooked today. Otherwise prompt and friendly service with a lovely atmosphere minus the noise of children.
p.
Pancakes was nice. Atmosphere was good. Service to seating could be faster as the cafe is not full when we got there.
R. I. R. P.
It's a beautiful place inside of Brisbane CBD. They are open 24h and all menu is available always.
L. P.
Pictured, clockwise, are the chips with aioli, salad, and chicken mushroom crepes (entree size). I later ordered a two-stack with ice cream that I forgot to take a picture of. All of the food was amazing! I loved the savoury crepes the most; the mushroom and cream worked so nicely together and the mashed potatoes were lovely. Nothing particularly outstanding though.
Gorgeous interior with a creepy but decent bathroom downstairs (it felt like a dungeon which was pretty cool).
The staff were great, nothing outstanding but they did their jobs well, especially when it came to handling my huge group of friends. Orders were taken so efficiently and serving was so smooth!
All in all a great experience :D
P. F.
Always great place to drop into on way home. Pancakes are awesome, staff are busy but always polite, and the old cathedral setting is totally unique.
A.
It's open till late. Great food but pricey. Very medieval atmosphere. Desserts are too sweet... good for people with sweet tooth! Steak is good. Staff are friendly.
A. D.
Went with some friends the blueberry pancake absolute amazing. Do a awesome sunrise spider. Very reasonable price for night out. Deffo come back.
A. D.
They have greate gluten free pancakes.
J. F.
Hasn't changed in decades... it is what it is - open all hours and the food is plentiful. Really showing it's age though - the toilets are quite awful and the area downstairs to get there needs a good clean. The furniture is very old and unloved but the staff were good and food was great - still huge servings. But the building itself is still amazing...those high ceilings!!!
M.
The best things about The Pancake Manor are it's location and that it's open 24 hours. It's definitely a good place to get a quick fix for late night sugar cravings. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the pancakes are probably not the best ones around. They aren't bad, just ordinary. For a place that has such a beautiful interior, it would be really nice if the quality of the pancakes could be slightly improved.
E. S. D.
This place open 24 hrs and is OMG amazing. We have been back a few times and it doesnt disappoint. Tge pancakes are delicious and they are available GF too . Highly recommended. Brilliant customer service.
E. C.
I love the pancake manor! It's not a luxury establishment, but its good comfort food, good service and there's no "typical" clientele. Everyone eats here- families, couples, groups of friends, we even saw a wedding party! It caters for everyone, gluten free, vegan, everyday-glutton so you can't go wrong. My favourite is the short stack with butter, whipped cream, ice cream and maple syrup and a Swiss chocolate milkshake!
S. S.
Visited on a Saturday night. Staff member was very professional and told me about the potential longer wait for food. The food was delivered with perfect taste and presentation. A very few places in Brisbane which is open 24x7. Great place to hang out with friends and family.
J. W.
Open 24 hours, in the heart of the city, affordable and delicious! Nothing more needs to be said. I ordered the strawberry pancakes with cream and ice cream. Excellent decision, no traces left on the plate!
W. L.
Compared to the Pancakes at the Rocks establishment in Sydney, I was disappointed to find that the food was not as good here in Brisbane but I did like it's setting inside a church. I'm a regular here, especially after 1am on a Saturday night - I find their coffee is just acceptable, their crepes need help and their pancakes just very average.
However, it is recently been revamped! Gone are the sticky old menus from the past, replaced by the new and when I tried it again, last week, I was delighted to see the food quality seems to have lifted. I'll give it another star to 3 now.
W. S.
If you're after a really nice pancake - This is a great place to go. Staff are fantastic, pancakes are fluffy and really nice.
I'd recommend staying with the pancakes though. Kids had a great time. Service was quick also which was nice.
Unfortunately however, the $30 rump steaks are so thin you'd be hard pressed to get it cooked the way you'd like, covered in a strange tomato based sauce that kills the rump flavour, the chips all stuck together and the salad was some greens, tomatoes and a stack of dressing.
So, as a place to drop in for dessert - Really nice pancakes 😁👍
D. C.
Atmosphere. Service. Food!
This place is awesome. I came here with my Sparkly lady friend for a cheeky night dessert. We walked in, the place was pumping, we were seated, and offered the menu's quickly. We ordered chocolate ice-cream and gluten-free pancakes. They were great! and a good price.
I think the only reason I would drop a star is because I've been gluten-free for a while, and there are some really easy gluten-free light'n'fluffy pancake recipes, including crepes and hotcakes, that could replace their current recipe. It's a bit too heavy, a little "gluggy". It tasted like it contains rice, and I've never been impressed with rice pancake recipes...
P. S.
This place is great. It's been here for a long time and is open 24 hours a day. The pancakes are amazing. We had dinner here as well and it was great.
Good food and great service!
C. L.
Pancake manor is a beautiful place. Love the recent renovation and love the opening hours wish they served alcoholic drinks for longer. Also wish they had more vegan options altho they do have some. Would nice to have vegan veggie burgers and vegan meat burgers and vegan bacon and eggs💙
J. H.
The staff were friendly the building was vissually stunning and the food and coffee was good quality.
E.
For a 24-hour spot, it's pretty decent. Waffle was great and the raspberry sauce is a treat. Pancakes nice and fluffy, though too much butter. Service is slow/inattentive even when not busy
S. B.
Open 24 hours and probably the best option for breakfast if you wake up early early and love pancakes. Excellent service.
W. L.
Good vibes and you can sort of customise your icecream-pancake combo. The staff is quite nice there.
M. C.
Hasn't changed. Ssame great pancake 🥞. Only paper menu is in the door entry for those who hate opening multiple menu sections via your mobile.
D. J.
Delicious food, friendly staff, clean environment in a beautiful architectural former church 117 years old. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
M. F.
Came here for a good time, but just waited a long time!!! :( :( Place is amazing, food is great but the speed and service is poor, can easily wait 30 minutes for meal after waiting to just get in. Then the ice cream and pancakes with the lunch deal have asked 2 staff members about when it is coming. 30 minutes later still waiting for pancakes and ice cream as part of lunch. Could have ground the flower, milked the cow and made my own by now :P see below half the pancake representing the half hour to talk to make this masterpiece.
M. V.
I love to sit in this old church and conjure up thoughts of how life would have been for is builders and parishioners of over one hundred years ago. A great venue for a restaurant with delicious pancake varieties on the menu.
M. B.
Good for kids, cold food though and busy but it was the first day of school holidays.
L. M.
Very accepting of two wanting to share - we didn't even finish but we had dinner elsewhere before coming. We were seated quickly. Toilets are pretty basic but the building is otherwise old and grand. Great night out - it's also 24/7!
R. M.
Amazing pan cakes 24 x 7 and awesome environment. Super friendly staff. Must try if you are in Brisbane
B. R.
Staff were a little bit slow when taking orders and paying the bill however, food is great at a very affordable price. Excellent opening hours too
B.
I enjoyed my food and my coffee. A good option for a quick breakfast in the city.
s. s.
Gòod food and service, hygiene could be better, it's hard to rate a place highly when you have to open a toilet door after washing your hands, management should take a few minutes out to watch how many people don't wash their hands after touching "down there."
L. F.
Delicious food, extremely friendly and helpful service. They will make your pancakes to your exact wishes. I’m pretty sure they make their own sauces. And the ice tea I ordered was REAL. Only downfall is that it’s quite busy and there’s a small wait for a table, but who can blame them for being a popular destination? Definitely dining in again next time we’re in Brisbane.
s. P.
I've never been disappointed when I go here, the food is good, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great!
Whether it's a 12 o'clock pancake run with mates or a more reasonable night out with relatives, Pancake Manor has you sorted.
C.
They don’t only serve pancakes but when you get them - it’s heaven. I’d suggest getting the short stack/2 pancakes because you will get full. Love the place and so authentic. Service was good too.
W. K.
Pleasing setting, extended hours. Enjoyed the pancake combo - texture and flavour.
T. R.
Brisbane institution that does great pancakes (including scary good Gluten-free ones) 24/7. Atmosphere is eclectic being a barely changed old church. Why the star loss, well great pancakes/crepes aren't as unique as they once were when I first came here 30 years ago and whilst I enjoyed my meal as it was really good, it was not next level and the staff were just showing up but still efficient.
T. D.
24/7 pancakes 🥞 😋 need I say more. Everytime I go here always good quality food and very helpful staff.
K. H.
The pancakes are delicious and the staff are friendly. My only downside was I ordered a coffee with soy milk and it was undrinkable! The milk was burnt and it just tasted awful :( Please don't charge extra for something if you can't do it right!
R. W.
Awesome interior and open 24hrs. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner set menus are filling and reasonably priced. And, of course, you must try the pancakes!
V. T.
Loved It
Great Service
Awesome Company
TEAM 4
B. T.
The GF pancakes are dissapointing but the GF crepes, service and atmosphere are great!
K.
Coffee was a little bit off. Food and service was alright. I just didn't like the hash coz it was burnt. The pancakes were not fluffy.
C. L.
Beautiful place, friendly staff, 4 Pancakes were alright (3,5/5), probably some great stuff on the Menu, but i only went here one time.
S.
My fav thing about this place is that it’s open 24/7!!!!
Great accessible location,
Some staff are nice, the others still need to work on it,
Good atmosphere and settings,
Good pancakes, not quite worth the price but definitely worth a try
Recommended
S. L.
Savory or sweet, the pancakes are great. Wide selection of both varieties as well as plenty of other utmes on the menu.
N. S.
Great atmosphere and fluffy pancakes as promised with a compliment of fine aroma beans coffee.
W. S.
Short stack- 2 pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream for $8.95. Long stack for 4 pancakes at $10.95. Good value and nice atmosphere. Very busy around midnight. Had to park in Mary street. Left very very full.
K. T.
Upsides were great gluten free pancakes and exceptionally reasonable prices.
Downside was poor customer service on our first visit (drinks never arrived, and had to ask for our food). Service the second time was better.
H.
Took a while to get seated and the walk was uphill. The food was amazing though and I'm so full I can't walk. Delicious!
C.
Absolutely brilliant. Friendly service, great atmosphere and the best pancakes I've had.
Not always well staffed and the food takes a while but its sure as hell worth it
P. T.
Came here when I was a teenager, IT HASN'T CHANGED. Very nice pancakes, I'd come back again.
A. S.
Food is good, staff friendly. Lovely old building too
G.
Breakfast lunch or dinner try it. Having been a few times now and enjoyed it everytime. Definitely a place I will come back to.
G. H.
Food was filling, plenty of room for groups, reasonable priced.Easy to find.
K. D.
My favourite place in Brisbane. Sometimes the wait is long but that’s because everyone loves coming here.
M. M. V.
The place is cool but the pancakes not worth it. They were completely dry. They tasted good but only because of the chocolate fudge and blueberries. It was like eating a cake instead of a pancake. Giving 3 stars because the place is unique and the staff was nice.
A.
Always a great spot to hit when you have late night munchies for something sweet or savoury!!
F. D. D.
The place it's stunning. It's an old church, really cool. The food it's really good and the pancakes are big and delicious!! 🥞
j. O.
Loved it. Good atmosphere, seats to small and lower than normal seating height though
S. K.
Really love the pancake and Swiss shakes here. I definitely recommend this place to people who prefer to chill and have a convo.
G. M.
More like lovely fluffy hotcakes than pancakes. Too much baking soda in mixture required me to brush my gritty teeth afterwards. Needs vegan butter, cream, hot chocolate drink. Vegan chocolate thickshake was nice but used plastic straws. Staff friendly fast. Very busy so do book.
DominionMovement.com
s. D.
Great dessert but the booths to eat at are really too tight. Chicken burger was alright but the nachos were cold when it came out.
W. K.
Firstly ill say that the hype just isn't there for this place.
Long waiting times to even get in and then the food was ok but not as good as the reviews suggest.
The location is kinda cool in an old church.
Staff are friendly and quirky.
We got there at 1040pm thinking it would be quiet but it was not.
If you don't mind waiting then its ok.
E. H.
Nothing wrong with this place. Been around forever so that tells you something. All I can say about my last visit is was probably about 2.30 am. After 2 bottles of Rose. Really hot the spot. And staff were so nice considering the time. And their drunk patron. Best munchies to suit and handy inner city location.
M. R.
Stay away from the steak, apart from that everything is lovely 😌
M. O.
Very good pancakes and service yum yum
Coffee was good to
k. y.
Beautiful architecture ,very worth to see valuable building and beautiful pancake .
And 24 hours open in Brisbane is amazing.
K. A.
The meals are great, service is good. Can get very busy.
S. L.
Absolutely the best pancakes we have enjoyed. We shared one if the main course servings and found it very fresh and tasty, good Friendly service. Excellent.
W.
Great venue and food. Customer service is always top notch, staff are very friendly. Awesome place to get your pancake fix.
K. S.
Setting was unique from an old church. We were called in rather abruptly to our seat as though we were late for an appointment when it was a possibly a quarter full. :) Maybe they were used to having a crowd and having to rush customers hence lack of pleasantries.
That being said, ordered the waffles, ultimate crepe and bananarama (pancakes with bananas). Thought they were tasty and surprisingly got full so quickly. Would have given 5 stars till we ate at Farmers and Sun at Gympie.
M. T.
It’s 24 hours and inside a church. The chips were excellent but everything else was barely passable. Exc
That being said, if you come expecting excellent food, you clearly just don’t get it.
L. D.
Incredible experience. You can not beat eating pancakes in a church. Would highly recommend.
A. M. b.
Oh the joys of a Pancake Manor luncheon. Yes it was REALL GOOD, The service was from happy motivated staff, and enough waiters attending your requests that it felt comfortable to be there.
The food is as good as the menu suggests, but be sure to be hungry as u will be satisfied.
I also found the set menus very affordable. 4 of us ate until nearly gonna pop and still under 90 bucks.
Try it u will enjoy.
S. H.
Their pancake are thicker & softer than normal. The building is beautiful especially in this branch.
A. C.
Still an amazing destination (and quiet spot) in the city with the best pancakes in town!
r.
Price is not bad if you like pancake you should try it once😋
C. L.
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Even the non-pancake stuff
J. H.
Besides the wait at the front where they said to take a seat and someone will be there to take you to a table then they took others first who had not been waiting as long which was pretty crappy, The food was really good
M. M.
Classic Brisbane eatery - no frills quick and tasty food at a good price and with good ambience, centrally located.
m.
Pancakes were nice but nothing special. Service is slow but they were quite busy so that's understandable. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry tho.
J. R.
Great friendly service, great food and coffee.
P. L.
heritage restaurant, the pan lake is good ,but not enough air conditioning, very hot
V. S.
Absolutely love going here anytime, day or night! Lovely staff and excellent menu.
R. P.
What can I say, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You get the odd terrible waiter or waitress, but this place is a must when it comes to wanting some food and drinks at the weirdest times.
The food isn't bad, the dessert is pretty good, it's not fine dining or anything close. But it's a good place to catch up with mates and share a meal and dessert.
A. W.
Any place open 24 hours is good, prices are reasonable. I don't really like pancakes though, savory crepes are good burgers are mediocre
C. A.
This is such a cool place. We went for pancakes last night and wow they were delicious. Service was good and efficient. Pancakes delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!
橘.
Delicious food. Special design. Must experience this atmosphere.
J. R.
The food here is amazing, I had a long stack with whipped butter and maple syrup and 😍! Who doesn't love 24/7 pancakes. Only downside is the customer service could do with some work
B. J.
Lovely pancakes. I had the macadamia pancakes. Service was good too.
J. W.
Wonderful late night munchie run establishment. Their potato cakes aren't the nicest and it takes a while to be served drinks but the beautiful old building and menu variety makes up for it.
Z. H.
First time eating here and would defiantly come back
N. B.
Delicious pancakes and very friendly & efficient service! Would highly recommended (especially for gluten free people who want pancakes that don't taste like cardboard) :)
M. B.
Ordered a 4 stack with ice cream and maple syrup and my son had banana Rama. We both had mugs of hot choc. He didn’t think allot to his food and my pancakes were very dry. The staff were very good & understanding and the 2 mini pots of maple syrup hid the dryness but it’s no Pancake Parlour. Sad - was looking forward to it. I reckon Maccas hot cakes are nicer than these.
A. B.
Open 24/7, that's the best thing for starters! The staff were amazing despite how busy it was therefore a little longer wait than expected later in the evening. Food didn't disappoint so of course it was worth the wait. The milkshake was nice but more than what I'm used to paying for. All in all I recommend definitely! Vegan pancakes and ice cream I can't love anymore, never had both these options in a restaurant before. Us non meat eaters acknowledged and treated with respect for once!
V. S.
Service was okay. Food was okay.
Pancakes were plenty with not much topping to moisten the pancakes as they went down and I ordered.
M. C.
Great Place with awesome food. The atmosphere of the old church is great as well
M. J.
decent breakfast for a decent price. devonshire pancakes were simple and delicious. cool location.
M. K.
Such a lovely place to have something sweet or savoury. The service was wonderful and the staff were friendly and the meals were very well presented and tasty.
D. N.
Best place to get your pancake fix. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Vanilla malt milkshake was extremely delicious.
A. L.
The ambience and the service one of the best I experienced. The quality and quantity was amazing. One of the best I have had in a long time.
S. G.
Delicious pancakes and great coffee. Can get a little busy during peak times so always a good idea to get there early.
D. M.
We came here in 1988 during Expo while we were visiting from NZ. This places continues to produce amazing pancakes, light meals or desserts after all these years ! It just goes to show that good places stay around because customers just keep coming back .. and I'm sure that new customers continue to discover them !
B. W.
Worth a visit. Good food and nice atmosphere for families
V. H.
Ohh the pancakes. Stairs to toilets too scary for kids to go down by themselves but otherwise perfect. Many choices, kids menu and a scan menu (as in a QR code menu).
B. R.
Fantastic place very busy even for 730am on a Saturday morning Sundays even busier friendly staff great food very filling but you will spend 60plus dollars easily for a family of 4 2 adults 2 kids meals are reasonably priced even kid meals but great bang for your buck. ...... enjoy from the menu
D. H.
Excellent pancakes. Fluffy, yummy and filling. The Satay chicken burger I had was OK. Prices are reasonable.
R. M.
It may seem nice and fancy, but it takes a while to get seated and takes around an hour to get your food. The food is quite nice which might make the wait worth it. Special-need children might not like the noise as it does echo in there. There are not too many staff, but they are very kind. I recommend going on a day/hour that will not be busy. Do not go on weekends, it's crazy.
S. M. A.
Superb food and staff providing quick service on a busy Sunday morning.
H. C.
The Bavarian Apple pancakes were delicious. The atmosphere is amazing. Bookings are essential during COVID times.
j. m.
Staff were efficient and polite, the food was generous in size and great quality and taste excellent. A "must do" place for Brisbane city !
C. E.
the waitress was super friendly, and the steak wasnt half bad
A. S.
Nice decent meal especially after 9pm (when restos are closed). Had a great experience. Awesome and cool staffs. Pricing is pretty acceptable. Will deffo recommend the ceaser salad and the massive serve of chips - amaaaaazing! Kudos to you guys!
P. R.
One of my favourite places to eat as a local.
O. z.
Delicious pancakes & vintage style decor. Open 24/7
B. H.
How cool is this place. Eating pancakes in an old church, with sitting booths made from church benches. Had two very nice savory pancakes. Will be bringing more family members here.
P. H.
Awesome pancakes with brekky 24/7 can't say no👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
R.
Pancakes were dry, only 1 little scoop of ice cream and very slow
J. E.
Service was great, quick and friendly. Good serving sizes for the price. Gluten free crepes were really nice but the gluten free pancake was not good... the toppings saved it but the pancake itself could use some improving. Espresso was horrible. Atmosphere in this old hall is fantastic.
J. L.
Really delicious!! I ordered just basic pan cake, but it made me happy because of the taste :)
I visited there yesterday and today. GOOD!
J. S.
Hubby and I spent the weekend in the city for a break and we were dying to visit The Pancake Manor.
COVID restrictions made for a large line up of patrons when we first arrived around 8.30pm so we went elsewhere for dinner, walked around the city a bit and came back at 10pm for dessert instead.
We had to wait a few minutes but our friendly staff member found us a suitable table for two and we were both seated and had drinks very quickly.
Unfortunately, the pancakes I had were a bit stodgy and I didn't really enjoy them as much as I was hoping for...hubby had waffles which were perfect so not all a loss on the food department.
I think people should try The Pancake Manor out...we have to make allowances for these trying times and on the whole our experience was positive when taking that into account.

Yum yum everyone should treat themselves here, strawberry patch is one of the best along with their lunchtime special from 12 - 5pm

This place had the best pancakes I have had ever and they were a good size for the price you paid, that was the first time I had ever gone there and loved the service was good and you didn't have to wait that long for you pancakes just about 10 minutes.

Open 24/7!! Best brekky and pancakes in Brisbane, great family feel, prices were reasonable and the setting (an old church) was the best part. Stayed at oaks on Charlotte and Went here for early breakfast (recommended by concierge) after morning run over to Southbank and back. Loved their themed pancakes for kids including a caterpillar that our 5 year old loved!!! And we had bacon and eggs and a really well made coffee. Great customer service, best atmosphere.

Generous portion, delicious seafood crepe and nice pancakes.

My goodness the service was slow but the pancakes (and chips) were great!

It opens 24/7 throughout the year which is a huge benefit. But, do not get food here other than pancakes. Avoid their rib eye steaks and burgers at all costs!
Watered down pasta sauce on top of the steak was disgusting and was waste of $30.
Pancakes are good (I mean, it’s almost impossible to mess that up). Crepes are okay but not amazing.
I don’t know why they bother keeping steak and burger on their menu when they have zero specialisation in them.
Lovely atmosphere except when I visited few days ago, they had industrial aircon units on few areas which kill the vibe of the church that it used to have.
Overall, get pancakes because they make good pancakes. But, if you are hungry for food other than pancakes, avoid!

Dessert served with flair, this institution was around when I was at school and I look forward to taking my Grandson here for his birthday. They do have savoury meals but Life's short, start with dessert!
B. C.
Really yummy food. Coffee is nice, won't be disappointed

Always good when I go here, the service is good too.
Had the short stack with icecream as well as garlic bread and a banana milkshake, wait staff very polite and accommodating, offered to wait while I decided as the menus are online as downloadable PDFs now due to covid.
(The bathrooms are also currently done up likely due to the flooding that occured, so they're no longer lowkey creepy 😂)

They say nothing good happens after 2am. I beg to differ.. I mean it was 3am, mistakes were clearly made.. But these pancakes really hit the spot

Vusited the Pancake Manor Brisbane City Sunday. Had Canadian Breakfast. Fast and cheap. Expresso coffes were good. Kids enjoyed their 'Funny Face' pancakes.

Very nice place and tasty food, really love the design of the place too

Awesome desert and in a location that's easy to walk to after dinner somewhere as well as them having savoury dinners and not just being a desert venue. Pretty decently priced as well. Will definitely return over and over again.

Light and fluffy pancakes! Go for sweet though. We had some of the mushroom chicken savoury one and it was really small with little filling.

Service was quick and very professional. Food came out in a timely manner. It was well cooked and delicious, especially dessert. The only complaint I have is that our cappachino's were only warm at best.

This place is absolutely stunning. The architecture and feel of the building is unreal and a great visit. The service is good, the food is good (a little bit overpriced but really yummy) and is definitely worth a visit. It always seems to be busy and I would advise making a booking as it may take a while for you to be seated.

We had order of crepes. It was a 1 crepe cut in half with a little mushrooms, very small. Served with mashed potatoes, just to look like the portion is big. The menu didn't mention potatoes.... For the price of it we feel cheated!

This was a good little drop in for brekky. The prices were relatively cheap, the staff were friendly and the menu contained a lot of options. There wasn't a great deal.of parking for this place which made it a tad tricky (unless U want to pay for the lot across the road). But being from Vic and having the pancake parlour, this was definitely a must try for my visit to brissy.

Delicious pancakes and consistent equality.. a bit slow during peak times

This is the best place I have had such a superbly made pancake. The Ambience is normal friendly (it's old building)
I wish I can order them overseas..

Great variety of pancakes on offer! It was also easy to get to and the staff were doing a good job of practicing distancing. Bring an empty stomach because the portions are generous.

The building is beautiful and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Our drinks sat on the counter for 5 minutes before they were delivered and the wait time between receiving our drinks and food was lengthy. But the pancakes were delicious.
A. K. C.
The ambience of the place is magic. Food is good taste but extremely well proportioned. Drinks however wasnt as expected. Still loved it if you want to have a change/new brekky experience must go here.
K. K.
Fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! Happy to accommodate both of our dishes to be vegan (just ask!). Did have to wait ages for food to come though.
A.
Great place to go if you have a sweet tooth, even better that it is open very late. Only downside is they have no real main dinner courses, but savoury pikelets are good too
G.
Great food good service and the building is superb

Great food and vibe, a bit pricey but expected of a restaurant this good :)

Needed to follow up on our order as several groups seated after us got their meals before us. It was reasonably busy for Covid era though. Food was good.

By chance we found this place and, as lovers of pancakes, thought we should try it. A lengthy queue but well worth the wait. The front man, Carter, was an amazing controller of people and kept us informed as to the availability of a table. We decided to pair up with another couple (delightful) and eventually were placed at a table to four. The pancakes were superb and, so impressed, we returned to following day. The venue is delightful, service was excellent and the pancakes lived up to their reputation. A special thank you to Carter and his off sider, Hero. Both worthy employees who deserve all praise.

Shout out to the staff here they are wonderful 🙂🧇 the meals were very nice !

Nice place. Cool decor (sort of Alpine Swiss). Staff is friendly. Coffee was mediocre, but they have good milkshakes and alcohol. Pancakes were great, so we're the other breakfast items. Open 24 hours, which is what sealed 5 stars for me.
M. Z.
Very special and nice venue in a church. Nice food.
E. S. M.
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent pancakes and burgers too! Loving it!
K. M.
The food was lovely and even though we had been told there could be up to a 30 minute wait it arrived quite quickly.
We did ask that our hot food be bought out before our pancakes but it all arrived at the same time.
The pancakes were super fluffy and fresh served a long side fresh cream - yum!
The overall service was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
What let the whole establishment down was the bathrooms. I have never seen anything quite like it before! Maybe hire a full time cleaner?
We will definitely revisit regardless.

The Christmas Snowman is happy, just like my kids at Pancake Manor, even when he is nearly all eaten!! 😁
J. W. C.
Not what I expected. Staff was pleasant in a shallow sort of way. Not overly accommodating. We were told at seating that order-to-table would be no less than 30 minutes, even though the restaurant looked to be at only 1/2 capacity. My wife and I both had pancakes. I had a decent flat white, my wife had English tea, which was served American style. The pancakes were dry and tasteless, even though they were slathered with butter and syrup.
I suspect there are other cafes and restaurants where your patronage would be appreciated.

Been coming here 20yrs. Good quality food, good service, in a distinctive location. Prices have barely changed in decades!

Service is a bit slow, but the food is good and its just so convenient, because its open 24/7. I often go between 11 am and 2-3 am, and enjoy a nice meal with friends there!
A. A.
Delicious good food and it’s 24 hours !!✨
G. H.
Still one of the must do places in Brisbane. Great pancakes and other meals. Open 24 hrs
N. M.
A longtime favourite place to enjoy a meal and catch up with friends.

My husband and I like to come here once a week. Love the old building. Food is good. 👍

Nice spot, worth taking the Family...pancakes are HUGE! Just make sure to make a Booking. The lady who answered Call earlier in the week told us we didn't need to only to book, arrive and it was BUSY AF and no Tables were available. LUCKILY staff was able to make way for the 8 of Us.
J. K.
Get the Regular Stack and relax. To be honest some of their other menu items are hit and miss, but if you go for the pancakes you literally cannot find better bang for your buck.

Me and my mother from New Zealand came over in March 2019.
Quality was terrible. Mums nachos were predominantly chopped tomatoes and practically no mince meat. Service was extremely slow. Not wheelchair friendly.
Although I must add at a personal level. The restaurant is situated in an old church ⛪️ and does make for a very nice and unique atmosphere for dining. Also the 24/7 opening times makes for a good snack late at night should one wish

Always has been a great place to visit and to sit and eat there Great tasty Food. Staff are always Quick and Friendly and looking great

Great experience. Staff were very accommodating with our prams and need for high chairs. Food was delicious and well priced for the portions you receive.

Nice pancake restaurant located in a heritage building, the former st luke church. Delicious pancakes and nice ambience

This is an amazing place to have something to eat at any hour of the day.
Pancake manor is open 24h which means that you can get reasonably priced pancakes here during midnight adventures or for lunch or dinner. My fondest memory of this place is when I went here at 2am with some friends just cuz we felt like it.
The milkshakes/thickshakes deserve a special shoutout, they're not the cheapest in the city but they sure are some of the highest quality.
They also genuinely try to fill their menu with interesting things, I find some of the combos questionable, but that's obviously just my taste and I'd say there's a pancake here for everyone.
Genuinely love the place.
G. W.
This place is kind of a spiritual haven. It is in an old church building and time seems to stand still. The menu never changes much ( why change a good thing?) and the food is cheap and delicious! How do they make such perfect pancakes? Open all the time with a groovy little bar downstairs this is the ultimate 'restoring' restaurant.
S. S.
One of the best pancakes in Brisbane. Reasonably priced and extremely delicious. They are open 24x7 and if you crave for a coffee at midnight, this is where you should go. I highly recommend their strawberry patches and flat white. The location is great and has a lot of Korean and Japanese restaurant nearby. Highly recommended!
F. J.
Ambiance is pretty good. Toilets could be better. The ambiance makes up for the pretty ordinary food. Good is great at 2am though lol. Pretty cool that they are open 24 hours 😃.
Service has never been impeccable. Often found that if I don't order straight away them I am forgotten about 😕.
N. W.
A Brisbane icon and somewhere everyone has to try at least once. Good, cheap eats. Came away feeling satisfied as expected. Unique building too.
Unfortunately our order got lost somewhere in their system and we had to wait ages for a meal. The wait staff compensated us very well at the till to make up for it. So not too cut up about being made to wait.
Still, I'd go back for filling pancakes at a decent price. Thumbs up!
B. D.
Yummy food good portions gluten free were good dinner plate size. Tea was nice and orange juice. Cant wait for dinner instead of breakfast
R. A.
Food is good, Service can be slow. But one of the very few 24 hour places in Brisbane, so I'm giving five stars for that alone.
I. R.
Very friendly staff and good food. The chicken burger was huge and tasted amazing, and their chips are really nice and crispy. Taking one star off for the plastic straw. But keep up the good work :)
S. M. S.
We had trouble finding parking around the area. But once we entered the place it's totally worth it. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The pancakes is delicious with lots of varieties.

Nice place. Pancake freshly made, and taste really good.

Amazing food, fresh ingredients, fast service, good prices, friendly staff!
