Cool cafe had the be at a specialist on Wickham street. Parked in the street behind and spotted this place. Thought I need a coffee after all that walking lol I orderd a large latte nice to see a tall glass tasted very nice well made funky decor inside. not often I get into Brisbane these days

Consistency. That’s the key to great coffee. It isn’t good enough to be great some of the time but decent consistently always wins out. Plus check out how cute my “ugly” mug is! Discounts are provided for those who bring their own cups or you can borrow one of their “ugly” op shop ones. This is definitely a great place to grab my caffeine hit during work hours.

Basic with 100% charm. Loved everything about this place. The staff were friendly, food was tasty and the atmosphere was so super chilled with flare. Very smart concept to with the 'Ugly Mug' 😍☕

Great modern food. I love the bbq out the front and it ends up being one of the cheapest places around. I grabbed a gourmet brisket burger for under $10. The menu is great, will try the all day breakfast option next time.

Great coffee space. Quick coffee orders and meals were quite nice. Definitely recommend over the breakfast at Novotel. Hot tip: save 50c per coffee and grab an 'ugly mug' off the wall before you order.( Dine in only)

We were here during the Summer Nights Spring Hill, which was great. We often miss out coming here when we come for long weekends due to their limited hours. Made it on a Saturday night thanks to their extended hours. The service was great and really genuine. Had an amazing Spanish cocktail and sampled some of the summer menu and the normal menu. Good value and delicous. Live music was really enjoyable (Adam Harpaz). Only complaint is that they don’t open on weekends outside of December! Would definitely come back.

Staff are lovely and the food is probably ranked the best on Astor terrace. Orders are completed super fast and efficiently. They have got traditional foods on certain days of the week too. Would definitely recommend

Great little hidden gem, great coffee & chai, lovely breakfast spot & prices are very good with generous portions. Would have given 5 stars but it gets a bit smokey sitting out doors after 10ish. But the food is definitely worth visiting for. Much Tks for great service too staff are all friendly & helpful!

Great atmosphere, coffee was good and smashed avo was enough to feed 2! Was really nice, the chef even brought it to me which was cute. For those staying at Novotel, go here for breaky for better playing and 1/2 the price.

Coffee is excellent, not many great coffee shops around this area. Lunch menu is short, but the options are good. Decent value for meal sizes. Buzzy on Friday nights for a drink!

Coffee is usually pretty good but can be inconsistent. If it gets even moderately busy the wait time can increase substantially and orders can get mixed up, otherwise very good. Very nice place to sit and has bathrooms.
