This is my favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch in the Civic. Ample seating and if you get they just around 12, you can easily beat the crowd and no too much wait. Chimichanga and Tacos are my favorites here. The hosts are always nice and accommodating. Larger crowds are recommended to book a table in advance.

Huge hearty servings of burritos - tried the Flying Pig (fave) and the Pulled Pork burritos. Flavours were great, but maybe because the burritos were so huge, the salsas didn't get spread out evenly. You'd get pockets of great flavour here and there but not throughout. Place has the fun and festive Mexican vibe and staff were friendly. A solid dinner pick!

Enjoyed dinner at Beach Burrito on a very busy Saturday night. Food was tasty and reasonable sized servings. Watermelon margie was delicious but the pina colada was awful. Very disappointing. Staff friendly and food came out in good time. This is not fine dining but a cheap, cheerful experience.

Their tap beers weren't working and didn't have any Corona. Tacos good value on Tuesdays ($3) but otherwise the food doesn't really feel like good value or quality for the prices. As far as Mexican restaurants go this isn't bad, but a bit average.

Cute little joint for a quick feed. Great for groups with large tables and relaxed atmosphere. Great deals throughout the week! Here on a Wednesday meant 3 x tacos plus a beer/sangria for $18. Tuesday all tacos are $3! I had veganised vege and tofu and jackfruit tacos. Jackfruit one had picked cabbage and was much better than the tofu which was a bit watery, but still tasty. Vegan sour cream next time would be ace!

What is going on with your jalapeno poppers? They are way too spicy. Your menu states that its filled with cream cheese, however your staff must have added something to the filling because these are the spiciest poppers I've ever eaten. I normally eat a lot of spicy food but this was next level. Not entirely mad but a bit of warning next time would be nice. Also, while the staff were very polite and helpful, service was very slow.

The location and the vibe did not do justice on the food. Beach burrito needs to relocate somewhere closer the high foot traffic area in the city. The not so much light coming inside. Really good staff, away from hustle and bustle and a lot of families with kids. Our little in loved the fish and chips. Prices were really reasonable as well. Make sure you go at a decently crowded time. Otherwise watch our for the magpies. Apart from that no other complaints. Tables get cleared during busy times but that's totally understandable.

This is a fun and friendly venue serving great Mexican food at a reasonable price. Have been here a few times this year and we enjoyed ourselves each time. The 1-litre bottles of Sangria are great for a table, and the food is lively and tasty. They sometimes have libe South American bands in during the evenings, which makes for an even more fun atmosphere.

I went there with my partner to have a nice lunch after a long morning. The place is nice and very mexican-vibe, the menu is wide and have many options to choose from. The food was good and the portiong was fine as well. Just be careful with the Jalapeño popers, they are TOO SPICY! We didn't understand why because the Nachos had Jalapeños as well and they were fine. I am giving it 4 stars because the drinks were not good as we expected. My partner ordered a Piñacolada and i orderes a frozen margarita, i believe they were both pre-made drinks. We were expecting to be made it by a bartender. The halloumi Salas and quesadillas were very tasty 🥳

I love beach burritos in general, but this one is particularly good! The local art featured is really impressive, the booths are cozy, every staff member i have encountered is friendly and the general atmosphere is awesome. Plus all the good stuff you get at all beach burritos - awesome specials, taco tuesday, great feed and great deals on beer or tasty mixers. 100% reccomend, particularly for young adults.

Chips tasted weirdly wet, like maybe they drizzled lime juice on them, whatever the reason it wasn’t appetizing. Nearly every cup at the water station was dirty. Plus side they have a fun decor.

There isn’t many Mexican restaurants in Canberra but Beach burrito is the place to go. This restaurant is fantastic. It’s a good value when you see and taste the amount of food they put on their dishes. I’ve tried the burritos, tacos, nachos and chimichangas. So far everything has been delicious and I can never decide quickly what I wan to eat. My goal is to eventually eat everything on the menu at least once. The staff was quite attentive and kind. I would definitely recommended the jug of sangria to go with any food on their menu.
