We had Easter Sunday lunch, which coincidentally all of Canberra must've also thought was a good idea?! 'Ginseng' was booked-out. However, after a short wait we were given a table. Superb service was provided by all of the staff we encountered. Meals were served very quickly - I noticed 10 chefs when I paid ✅. The quality & taste of the food was amazing. 5 stars. We'll be back, when we're hankering for some great Chinese food!

My first time coming for yum cha here. It was really good. The food was fresh and all yum cha we're really yummy. The staff were attentive and quick in responding to requests. Note: I gave 5 stars only for yum cha sessions. I have been to some banquet events in groups setting and they were not very nice.

Outstanding Asian food in a Greek Social Club. This is a popular destination restaurant. Always busy. Service can be indifferent, but the food is excellent. If going for Yum Cha, request a table on the outside. The tables in the middle do not see the trolleys. Sometimes orders for dishes will require several requests before the staff understand that you really do want what you have ordered.

Still the best dim sum/yum cha place in Canberra. We were given a room as we have 9 pax and I think the dim sum carts left us out a few times.

One of the best fried rices in Canberra. The lobster tails were excellent too. Fresh Chinese broccoli to complement the menu. Friendly and helpful staff. The place can get busy for lunch and dinner. Free car park provided by the club.

As good as ever. Parking now restricted to patrons only, hopefully it will keep parking more free than before.

The only other yum cha place in Canberra i’ve been to is CBD Yum Cha, i think they are both worth the visit. The selection of food isn’t as big but still tasty! I would recommend getting there before the crowd so around 10:30-11 is good. Sadly no portuguese tarts

Went there for the first time after I heard they had a great dim sum/yum cha restaurant... gotta check out a Chinese restaurant at a Hellenic club, right? So glad I did! Fabulous dumplings and other deliciousness all delivered with proper trolly service. Yay! Will be back as soon as I can!

Beautiful food and very friendly service. Great range of dishes and reasonably priced. One of our party is a severe coeliac, and the chef was happy to make a vege stir fry to be sure there was no gluten contaimination. We attended on a Saturday night and booked for the 5.30 sitting - was very busy and I doubt we would have secured a table without a booking. The restaurant is part of the Woden Hellenic club, which has a huge range of club facilities. Definitely recommend!

Hands down the best yum cha/dim sum in Canberra. Food arrives fresh and hot, and staff are happy to order special dishes. The fried lobster dumplings are a must have! Ginseng is located inside the Hellenic Club in Woden so at least one person in your group must be a member of the Hellenic Club to dine there.

Busy as (Friday night) and we ordered for a table of 5 and food started coming from the kitchen within 5 minutes. They also swapped dish elements around for picky eaters. That was unexpected and very welcome. As I am from interstate it's a shame I cannot come here more regularly.

Went for Yumcha on a Saturday. It is worth booking ahead as they are quite busy. The food was incredible, we were eating within 2 minutes of sitting down and my only regret is not being able to eat more. After eating to a little beyond full the bill came out to around $25 per head. Will be going back again.

We just had the most delicious yum cha there and it was fantastic, great food plus friendly and attentive staff. Our benchmark is The Eight in Sydney and this place was almost on par. We will definitely return!

Tables too close together. VERY loud. Communication problems with waiters probably due to the noise level. Food arrived *super fast*. We were almost finished dinner by the time our drinks arrived. Food was very good, but a little overpriced.

Great place for yam cha. Meals are a bit pricey and small servings. Service was pretty bad, there were 3 waiters on the evening we dined there. Request top up of water for Chinese tea 4 times with all the waiters, and only got it on the fourth time! Food was OK but greasy but the service is terrible. Yam Cha is near chaotic. Would go elsewhere if there is competition.

Food was varied and you could pick or choose as they came around at regular times with the trolley 😋We as a family had yum cha and my niece 7 and nephew 10 had a try of most things including chicken feet😊me as Auntie I was not so adventurous😐 custard tartlets mouth watering☺ Very noisy so grandad had difficulty with his hearing aids. Uncle had to make choices for us as it was hard to understand what they were saying due to the noise and language challanges. Staff smiling, laughing, very chatty and have a sense of humour😆 toilet roll give away😂

Twice now ive been over charged on my final bill , the reef n beef is a lottery whether you get scallops and if you are lucky to get more then two and if you do they are cut in half , my table ordered three and all inconsistent. ...btw when someone orders a beef dish thats what they want and not a plate mostly full of onions. I gave it 3 stars because the food tastes good.
