Big bird was more than enough fill me comfortably. I was a little disappointed in the heat level, being my first time I went for Hot which is the middle of the 5 choices. This was barely noticable for someone that likes nice heat flavour. Chicken was well cooked and not dry and all the other flavors were there

Great place for fast, tasty food. It was good value for money as they gave decent portions. The food was well seasoned, although flavourful, the chicken was a little dry. The service was really friendly and the place was pretty clean. Thank you!

I dined here with my husband and two very small children, and had a great experience. Wonderful customer service. The staff were so friendly, made us feel very welcome. The food came out quickly. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Perfect serving sizes. Will definitely be going back!

I would have to say this is by far the best chicken shop in Canberra. They specialise Portuguese style chicken, and no other place matches the quality of chicken they make. The breast of the chicken, which is the leanest part, normally tastes dry and hard to eat, but they make theirs juicy and delicious. The only drawback is they can improve on their chips a bit as it's not the best chips I've had.

My family and I had a Friday dinner at this Canberra Centre restaurant, and we were quite happy with our meal. We ordered a packaged meal called "The Boys Are Hungry"--and believe me, we were!--which consisted of a whole chicken, 8 BBQ chicken ribs, 4 grilled tenderloins and 4 chicken wings. We also got my son a chicken burger because he eats like a horse and a side of chips. The chicken, which combines Portuguese and Sri Lankan flavours, was flavourful and my son decreed the burger was one of the best he's had. Brightly lit and festively decorated, Kukula's is definitely a place to return to, definitely.

We ordered The Kukula burger and it was really delicious, loved the sauce they used. Also the charcoal burger is just an amazing. My husband is vegetarian, he also enjoyed the vegetarian burger. The customer services was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely going to visit this place again and try other dishes from the menu.

Came for lunch, kids made me come back for dinner. Amazing service and delicious food makes me want to lengthen our trip to Canberra. Deserves more than 5 stars my kids say and that's a lot coming from my son, he's very had to please with food.

Great Chicken and burgers and it’s same like you are eating at Nandos but far better taste and flavour, their best is sizzling chicken with rice and I loved the Chook roast too,you can try your taste buds with very HOT to Mild chilled on your menu and enjoy the delicious chicken and awesome chips, price are reasonable and there is ample place to dine in restaurant too, customers service is very good and parking in surroundings are available but you might need to struggle on weekends, so do try this pace and yes they are HALAL too, so good options are Muslims in Canberra👍🏾

We were tossing up between a few places but ended up deciding to come here and we're glad we did. Fresh, bold flavours, helpful staff, really big seating area, and great portion sizes especially for the very reasonable prices.

Spacious and clean environment, good for groups! Chicken skin was too charred, the meat though tender was a little too salty. Sides were okay.

Yummy Portuguese-style chicken with Sri Lankan spices! Perfectly cooked chicken and loved the spice on the Kukula's chips. We ordered half chicken, tenderloins, coleslaw, Kukula's chips and corn. Next time I'll order the wings! Order directly from Kukula's and pick up to save money on the food. Prices are higher if you order from 3rd party websites and delivery businesses.

Food is delicious, restaurant is spacious. However, very busy with online orders. Only three tables dined in, yet took a while for the food to be ready. Given two knives and no fork.

Love the Portuguese chicken, like nandos but halal. The mild spicy chicken was actually quite spicy, but not intolerable. Chicken was freshly cooked, coleslaw was delish. Definitely recommended
