Went there yesterday for the first time. Good to know that there are so many vegetarian options. Taste is also worth. The only problem is that quantity is less in ratio to the price, maybe because rent is high at that place. I had both quesadilla and naked burritos. Will be back as it takes very less time for food to get ready. Please let me know when is the 1kg burrito challenge which a reviewer has mentioned below. I was not informed about that.

Unreal Mexican, easily better than any other Mexican in Canberra, just sucks it's in the Canberra centre so we cant get it for dinner and have it more often, bring one to Kingston !

Quality ingredients make this burrito a tasty lunch time treat. Pictured is a 'regular' burrito (chicken, spicy salsa) at $11.50 with $2 for guacamole. The 600ml solo brought the meal to $17.50 so a bit more than average for a quick lunch time meal. If you're up for it - Mad Mex sells beer to wash your meal down with though avoid your boss for a while on your return to work I suppose! Having said that, Mad Mex has its own small dine in area with traditional Mexican music being piped throughout. The staff, as others have said, tend to focus on production than service but it isn't a big issue. Recommended - if you're not worried about spending a little bit more.

Good Mexican burritos. Salsa flavours are great and the meat is usually tasty. Salad ingredients tend to be fresher than other chains. All this comes together and makes a great meal. The Mad Mex loyalty program (in the app) works at this location. Not always liberal with their meat servings, but that's the downside of being a chain I guess. Maybe I'm just spoilt by the amount of meat you get in Turkish kebabs around Canberra!

This place has very quick and consistent service. The food is of decent quality considering that this a take-away restaurant. The burrito or the naked burrito is the pick of the menu, although the quesadillas are very nice. The place is always clean, at least on outward appearances and the staff is always friendly.

Just delicious. It's not gourmet Mexican, but it tastes good and it's well priced. The burritos and quesadillas are both excellent, Nachos are pretty good too. A range of drinks, including Schweppes range (Pepsi etc.) As well as Mexican style drinks. The Canberra Centre store is pretty good, normally busy but you can usually grab a table fairly easily. The tables have napkin holders and hot sauce to spice up your meal including a choice of Tapatío and La Costeña. Clean, delicious and well priced. Parking is a breeze, though expensive at the Canberra Centre.
