Good food, very tasty. It's not a gourmet experience but it's delicious, genuine, and the portion sizes are filling. There was a hair in the ice cube in my drink but the dude was trying his best so I didn't really care. Also, they let one of us bring a tub of ice cream in and eat it at the table. That was pretty chill of them. Anyways, yeah, it was bomb.

Overall: Mama's is always a go to for quick and easy Italian pasta that is well located, with friendly staff and lively, cosy atmosphere. Liked: The seafood spaghetti was tasty and had a good amount of seafood (which is definitely not the case at all restaurants). The dessert was simple but flavourful and done well. The staff were very friendly and genuine. Improvement: It was a full house but hopefully the speed of service can be improved. The wait for the mains was a little too long.

Ordered a pick up meal of veal, one lemon and one marinara for hubby and I. Huge portions and delicious! You won't find fine dining degustation, but you will find good, honest meals and cheerful service.

Mama Mia! Probably not Mia. That'd be too cliche. As opposed to an Italian eatery named for pasta like-a Mama used to make. Or still does. What was I saying? Oh yeah... That's a spicy meataball. Food was plentiful and tasted good. Not that it matters, because you people only go to restaurants to photograph your food and post it to insta. Want to impress your friends? Cook your own pasta. For them. In person. Yes, share a meal, not just a photo of one.

Nice place with plenty of nearby parking. Handmade pasta, as you'd expect from a good italian restaurant, along with a variety of other seafood and meat dishes, all delicious. The service was good, our cups always full and staff always nearby. The atmosphere was alright, maybe some music could have improved it a tad. An order from our table was forgotten unfortunately, and one of our members had to wait an extra 10 minutes for their food. Overall a fairly solid restaurant, I recommend visiting.

A small, family run business that serves very delicious lasagne and the portion size was very large. Do come early as service can be slow if there is a huge crowd.👍

authentic and flavorsome food (I grew up in Italy). they had the best pollo con peperonata ever and the best tasting bruschetta. It has a chilled-out and grounded atmosphere. i felt welcome and cozy. what a home feeling, thank you mama Franca and her amazing staff.

The staff was so friendly and the food, oh my god, I got the egg pasta roll with the Spanish and cheese, I’ve never had anything as good as that!!! The sauce on top could have been put in a cup and I would have drank all of it!!! Highly highly recommend visiting this establishment!!!

We had a pleasant evening and the staff are friendly. Food is well cooked, although the dishes themselves were a little bit oily all over - even underneath. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, although most of us were quite hot by the end of the evening. Room for improvement, but would happily eat there again.

I agree that the serving sizes are large however I think I would prefer smaller servings that had more flavour. I had the spaghetti with prawns and could not eat it once the prawns were gone as it was bland and oily. Others in the group had different meals which were better...but not by much. I wish my review could be better!

On my last night in town, I came in hungry and ordered expecting small portions (compared to back in America). I had minestrone soup and a pasta dish and the pasta was large; I left there very full and satisfied! Big portion sizes, delicious food, nice staff- my family members and I would come back if we ever get to drop by Canberra again!

I go to this restaurant once a week for their spaghetti carbonara. It is consistently delicious. The staff are always friendly and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Simply put, i get mean cravings for big creamy cheesy bowls of pasta which Mama's satisfies every time.
