Owners and Staff so Wonderful, Friendly and helpful, happy to serve you. I love there food; that they make 😋 at Ainslie Takeaway. Stop to have my (Big) Breakfast, with Toast Egg 🥚, Sausage, Bacon 🥓, Tomato 🍅 and Chips 🍟, with Coffee ☕ and Tea 🍵. A small Breakfast that has, Raisin Toast and Coffee ☕, or Egg and Bacon Roll, which a Double Egg Bacon & Cheese 🧀 Roll, Coffee or Tea, You can take away your food. Lunch time, have a Fish Dinner for one crumbed, battered or grilled with chips and salad 🥗. Chicken Schnitzel for one, with Cold drinks or Hot Coffee or Tea. Are you in Hurry the Food is all ready cooked, for you, Hot Dog 🌭, Meat Dim Sim, 🍖, Vegie Dim Sim, Spring Roll, Potato cake, 🥔, Kransky Roll, and many more 😄. I love ❤ Chicken Snack Packs (One Piece &Chips) or (Two Pieces & Chips 🍟) also (Three Pieces & Chips). Love Sandwiches, they have various Sandwiches and Toasted is available. They have Small, Medium, and Large Sizes Chips. They have Vegie Burger 🍔 with Vegie Pattie, Salad 🥗 and Sauce. Hamburger 🍔 Plain, or with the lot an Fish Burger, and Steak Sandwiches, or with the lot. Have Gourmet Burger 🍔 like Ainslie Chicken Burger with Chicken Breast, Avocado, Bacon, Salad, Relish and Ioli. They have more Gourmet Burger 🍔. Children Snacks Packs (Fish and Chips) or (Calamari and Chips 🍟). Chicken Nuggets, or Six Nuggets and Chips. Evening have Fishman basket 🧺 for One Person or for Two Persons. Mediterranean Pack 8 Calamari and Chips with Greek Salad 🥗.

I had my first visit to this takeaway and they make absolute amazing chips. There potato cakes are my favorite!!! This is the first time I had a premium homemade tasting potato cake. Thick, crispy and creamy. I have been all over Canberra and when you eat here it's filling. The products are not over priced given the value in the food. The chips are cooked in clean Oil so the colour of the food is prefect. They home make and prepare there food, like the fish etc. Why do I like this fish and chip shop so much? 1.Fresh chips cooked in clean Oil that are crispy on outside and soft in the middle. 2. Staff are really nice 3. Potato cakes are fantastic 4. Beautiful location and lots of clean tables outside. 5. A very clean shop. This is the best place in Canberra so far. These photos don't do the food complete justice. I want to go back.

Chips were very good, crunchy with just enough salt. Chips burger and coke for $12.50. The burger was good (beetroot and tomatoe was a plesent surprise) but could have used a pickle.

If you’re heading to Canberra or in Canberra, going to the Ainslie Takeaway is a must. They have the most legendary Chicken and avocado rolls EVER!!! Wonderful service and just the best!!!! I can’t say anything bad about this place. 11/10 :)

The quintessential aussie takeaway. Kinda place you walk in, order a burger with the lot, get a burger with the lot. Food is fresh, staff are lovely, prices reasonable. Feels like a dying breed.

Great portions, good service. Eat here once a week and have never had any issues. Scallops, schnitzel burger with the lot, hamburger with the lot and chips never disappoint.

After discovering our usual store doesn't open on a Sunday evening we tried the Ainslie Takeaway. We got battered fish, chips, dimsims, potato cakes, pineapple fritters and two 600mL soft drinks. All for just $36.00. It was an excellent meal, highly satisfying and being closer to home we'll undoubtedly be frequenting this takeaway store more often.

Awesome classic style burgers and chips the way they should be!

Classic fish & chip shop with pizzas on certain nights. Try the 'Ainslie Chicken Burger' or the 'Ainslie Chilli Burger'. Both come with grilled chicken breast, bacon, avocado, salad, and either tomato relish or chilli sauce on a pretty decent bun for a chip shop. Yum!
