Support the local pubs. Buff Club is a local heritage pub in existence since 1961 (and more). Service is efficient and staff are friendly. Buff is where you will meet locals, participate in great events (ukulele club meet on Tuesdays) and decent food. I ordered the prawn linguine and I wanted more (21$). The Buff Burger with chips is a beast to handle (17$). Bus from city available. Must try while you are visiting Darwin.

Not been here for a while. My friend was curious to try the place. We went on schnitzel night. Beef and chicken schnitzel were $15 and $14 respectively. We both had beef and my friend had parmy upgrade for only two bucks more. Both meals were superlative. The spring rolls were excellent and the fried ice cream was a magical vietnamese influenced variation of the usual, which was simply superb. I have not had its equal. The coconut was served with a palm sugar syrup drizzled over it, cashews and the ice cream itself was wrapped in a thin pastry and shallow fried. Just divine!

Friday night's are fantastic....raffles and badge draw....followed by a great Pub meal...rugby and footy on the Big screens. 40c Pool Tables...cold beer on tap...plus full bar selections...even have a library to borrow from...I love it! Great little Club and they love to welcome visitors. Give it a go.

If looking for a good beer buzz mid morning you are going to the right bar. Take company if you have not been before. They have superior pool tables which sit idle through day. This bar is NOT 'cheers' so don't go in acting like you own the place.. Very very old Darwin pub culture. Single women friendly in daytime.. I have never been in evenings..too much character and reputation for me.. Just saying. Real Darwin.

Member now for 2 years, cheapest tap beers, the best hospitality worker I ever met Song you know who you are. The kitchen gives good honest food with great member prices on Tuesday and the fantastic old school Sunday Roast. Hope to be member of this club for long time more.

Royal & Ancient Order of Buffalo's (RAOB) AKA 'The Buff Club' It's a really genuine pub but sadly it has pokies. Stainless steel fridge doors emblazoned with Australia's favorite massed produced beers are the highlight of the long bar. Two huge sets of buffalo horns hang above it. Pool tables, Keno, TAB, a dozen screens for sports and betting... but no dart boards. The kitchen was closed when we visited so I can't rate the food but bistro looks clean and well organized. Well worth a visit.
