Undisputed leader in authentic Thai food. Not many in Darwin that can claim this for sure. Chef Min Min has been doing this for over a decade and I was fortunate to be introduced to him thru the new owners of Mellow. They are a passionate and local Darwin business family who always give back to the community. Love it!

Mellow is opened. Reasonably priced Thai food on Mitchell street. I had the Drunken Noodle, sweet vegetable and beef noodle (17$) tasty, nicely decorated, bright clean, and popular. There is an outdoor area for the winter season. Centrally located, this Thai restaurant is worth a try.

It has been a while since last time we came here. We found the dishes were better a lot, after asking they said they have new owner and chef. Amazing!

I had stir fried seafood with basil and my wife had seafood with ginger and my son had the chicken laksa. All three dishes were superb and it is a long time since I have tasted Thai food so fresh and perfectly cooked and flavoursome, even in Brisbane and Sydney!!! The place for very silent when I came yesterday. Maybe because it was their closing time. I think this place is very under rated. Such delicious food and fantastic service. I could see the chef cooking with passion. I wanted to appreciate him but I am too shy. A must try place if you come to Darwin. Can't complicate enough on the food and the kind sweet hostess. Every one must visit and enjoy their food. Hopefully it gets the recognition it deserves.

Lovely meal, had Fried wantons as an entree, and they were hot and very tasty. Was very quick to come out. I then had Green Curry with Chicken and the chicken pieces were cooked perfectly and the dish tasted so fresh, nice combination of herbs and flavours. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The AC was very efficient so it’s going to be a great restaurant for the build up and wet season especially. Will definitely be back.

There is something here for everyone. The food is fantastic. I had the beef massaman. Damn it was good. My partner had the chicken stir fry. She loved it too. We will definitely be back next time we are in Darwin.

I have lunch here every day when working. We moved to a new location recently and it is now a 10 minute walk each way but the food is so good it is worth the walk. Fresh Asian plus some Indian meals at reasonable prices for the quality. Quick service. Highly recommended for lunch.

I came regularly to this place 2 years ago when we lived in darwin and just returned this week ...and been 3 times!!! The food is never disappointing..the flavours so good as I am vegetarian and often meals are bland but not here!!!! Cheap too for the quality!!!! Cannot recommend it enough!!!

Durung the workday wanted to grab somethong fast, so choose this. Preaparation wasnt long, portion is good enough, tast is good too, price if I remember 16 AUD. Not big lovely place but good to be updated since many things are old, I mean inside, not food.
