Honestly, such delicious, fresh dumplings - I haven't tasted better for price in all of Europe, Sydney & QLD. Do yourself a favour & give them a try! All freshly made but they do sell out by the end of day!

I’ve travelled across Australia and was so amazed to find the BEST dumplings right in the heart of Darwin’s CBD. Freshly cooked, served piping hot and jam packed full of tasty and fresh fillings. The service is kind and be quick because they sell out fast! I went everyday when I was visiting Darwin because they are literally that good. Even introduced some mates from Darwin to the place and it’s their new favourite for a quick bite.

Delicious handmade dumplings This little restaurant serves delicious handmade dumplings! We loved the soup filled Xiao long bao and the prawn dumplings were full of delicious prawns. The cold green tea is a wonderful touch on a hot day!

Don't miss this narrow #dumpling eating venue. Must try but be fast as locals will finish the dishes by 3pm. By the time I arrived at 4pm only the tasty sticky rice and red bean bun were left 😭. Very friendly staff, clean premises and affordable.

OMG best dumpling ever!! So fresh, soft, moist inside, lots of flavour. My partner loved the kimchi and pork, I loved pork and chives, steam bums Were amazing, would suggest getting a mix! they all tasted delicious!! Braised pork rice is served in a big portion. Delicious and value for money. Ask for chilli for extra kick. Recommended if you are really hungry. It’s definitely my fave to go to for lunch.

A tiny dumpling shop off knuckey street. I've only been once so far but I was impressed with what I got. I tried all the fried dumplings and the Xiao Long Bao and left feeling very satisfied. Eating in could be troublesome in such a small venue but I'm sure it tastes just as good taken away. I don't think I've ever seen it not busy but the meals come fairly quickly regardless. Really hits that dumpling craving and now that Steam Up is gone it's the only dumpling place I know of.

Best dumplings in Darwin. The husband and I always order the pan fried dumplings, the special soup, the xiao long bao and the rice dumplings. All delicious. You can see them actually hand making their food behind the cashier. Staff are always friendly. We usually pop in for a quick weekend brunch quite if we're in the city.

If you're looking for tasty, mouth watering and authentic Chinese Dumplings you cant go past Nonna's. I recommend the juicy steamed dumplings is a must. Customer Service is fast and very friendly.

A big fan of Din Tai Fung, I was happy to hear about a Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling) joint open up in Darwin. Less than a week after opening, I finally rocked up for lunch with a friend, just before noon. First thing I noticed, I don't see the terms of 'Xiao Long Bao' or 'soup dumpling' show up anywhere. Instead they referred to what I believe would have been Xiao Long Bao as 'juicy dumplings' Not sure why, but I guess that's there marketing team/owners. When we went to order, apparently there were none available, and the friendly waitress encouraged us to order only one serving of juicy dumplings to share (instead of one serve each), showing that they were currently molding these to order. Instead she strongly pushed for us to order steamed pork buns and fried dumplings. Eventually after some confusion, and burdened by the pangs of hunger, we acquiesced, and agreed to two pork buns, and a plate of fried dumplings to share, along with one serve of juicy dumplings to share (only to save time). The pork buns were nothing special, my friend enjoyed them, I was apathetic about them. The fried dumplings, my friend also enjoyed, less so for myself. I didn't eat my share and offered him to finish mine. Finally the 'juice dumplings' arrived! Some were in fact juicy and full of the soup/broth, others were dry. The chilli vinegar sauce they provided was a little substandard and lacking in oomph. One positive is they served us cold (chilled?) green tea, which was a nice accompaniment to the meal. All up, I would only return for the juicy dumplings and no more. For Taiwan or Singapore I'd give this place a 2 star rating, but given this is Darwin, I think a 4 is generous but deserved.
