Totally recommend this restaurant. All you can eat buffet, always topped up, didn't have to wait. Watching the sunset over the water was magical. Great setting and atmosphere, the views of the setting sun over the ocean are amazing. The all you can eat seafood buffet was excellent, fresh and delicious. They always had the buffet topped up with fresh, hot food. They also had great table service, there was always a waiter ready to reset your table and clear away dishes. Excellent service topped with fresh hot food and views second to none. Highly recommended.

Haven't been here in years. Was lovely to have dinner here again. There was a good variety of food and deserts. The staff were lovely and quick to remove old plates and scrap bowls. Not a place you would rush back to due to price and drink prices. But worth the splurge on our date night without the kids.

Good is delicious and it's all you can eat. Keep in mind that the majority of the food has an Asianness to it, which I enjoy. The steak is pretty delicious and they keep the food well stocked. Also, once your done stuffing yourself on the tasty eats, there is always a chocolate fondu/ice cream/cake to finish up the night. Also, the location is very close to the ocran, has a great view, and there are a couple places to go right after and enjoy a good sunset, assuming you arrive early.

Always a great place to eat for locals and tourists. Oysters in their buffet with a range of cold and hot dishes. It had been a while since we last ate here and their dishes has improved, a big fan of their roast duck and roast pork. The chocolate fountain is a hit with the kids. Just the place to satisfy your love of seafood. My family and I keep going back for their signature sweet chilli crab, fresh oysters and prawns and they even have fish n chips along with nuggets for the kids (if they don't have a love of seafood...yet). It's safe to say it's my family's go-to buffet spot.

Honestly it's a classic buffet but the seafood was always topped up and there was chilli crab, mussels, oysters (including Kilpatrick), fish and lots of other meats. As usual at classic buffets the desserts are average but if you're there for the desserts then something's wrong. The value is great and so was the service and the sunset view. Would recommend and return next time in Darwin.

Great location to have a good fill at a reasonable cost after weeks of traveling and camping out. Lots of variety seafood and other meats, would please everyone incl vegetarian. In a word...FABULOUS. The seafood was a delight, fresh plentiful & excellent assortment. Tiger prawns to die for, fresh & tasty & oysters to match, both Kilpatrick & natural, chilli crab..... Assortment of fresh salads, pasta dishes, Chinese dishes with pork, beef chicken & seafood in a range of dishes. Desserts a plenty & the chocolate fountain also self serve fresh icecream with cones. We highly recommend this venue, we arrived at 5.30 pm & enjoyed the food until around 9pm & still they were topping up the tables & more people were coming in to eat.

Due to popularity, these employees tend to forget simple requests such as sending in replacement water jugs and replacing full bowls of waste. Recommended.

best overall buffet in Darwin even over the casino buffet this is better. pasta dishes are yummy crab is my absolute fave! fresh oysters but the mussels seem to be frozen as its watery when you bite into it. duck and Chinese roast pork is great too. lots of options to choose from. beautiful view if sitting outside you can enjoy the sunset. would be nice to have a lift or ramp for wheelchair or baby pram access as the stairs are plenty and steep. friendly staff always.

Fantastic selection of fresh seafood both hot and cold. The oysters were huge and absolutely delicious. The prawns weren’t massive but definitely fresh. And plenty of them. The calamari was also fresh and very tasty. There’s a variety of other food like peking duck, pork belly, seafood marinara, fried rice and steak cooked to suite. The desert bar is also fantastic with a huge variety of options including a fondue fountain. It’s fantastic value and the view was spectacular.

Sea Food on Cullen has always been my favourite restaurant, as I associate it with some of my childhood and adolescent memories. However, their food has somewhat decreased in quality. There used to be a larger variety of foods to chose from. But on a positive note, the business has beautiful ocean views and their customer service has always been excellent.

I went to seafood on cullen on a beautiful Sunday afternoon after hearing about its gorgeous ocean views and great variety of seafood from a friend. While I wasn't expecting much from an all you can eat seafood buffet, I definitely got more than what I'd bargained for. While I was greeted by the standard ambient music normally playing in any Chinese restaurant, the scenes I was forced to witness were far from tranquil. At first glance everything seemed peaceful, I even brushed off the image of a heavily breathing bald man in a bib as just a weirdo.He was not a weirdo, he was prepared. After my first foray to the line I realised that this is no place for the weak, you have to earn your keep. The tension in the air is thick and similar to a herd of wilderbeast attempting to cross the Serengeti River. There was a look of panic in peoples eyes and as I stood there thinking "ok this feels kinda weird" a sudden squeak of a door hinge behind me startled the herd into action and it was on. Before I knew it they were upon me, licking their lips and gnashing their jaws. I tried to scream out but nothing left my lips. Fear had a hold of me. As I turned to run I saw a bone chilling image cheerily walking towards me. "Oysters Kirkpatrick" read the sign and it was only then id realised just where I was standing. What a fool I was. I managed to escape that feeding frenzy and scurry back to my table with merely a few prawns. Shook as I was, I stomached the prawns not looking up from my plate once. I built up the courage to venture back to the feeding pit to get myself some scraps when yet again I was greeted with horror. In front of me, an elderly asian woman was sucking the contents of a prawn head out and as her eyes rolled back like a great white shark I thought to myself "is this actually worth it?" A question for deaf ears im afraid. She shot me a triumphant glance after securing the last of that prawns entity and I suddenly wasnt as hungry as I thought I was. Now I am ashamed to admit I've paid a small fortune to dine here thinking I would be king of the buffet, here i am leaving with my tail between my legs like the scared beta that I am. I am no king here, shamelessness is king here. The watermelon on a stick was nice, 5 stars.

Wonderful customer service and wonderful food. Our table and chairs were unfortunately dirty and stained my white top. Could be cleaner or have been cleaned prior to seating. Staff were very apologetic and quick to help.

Called the restaurant in the early hours of the evening to inquire if we needed to make a booking as there would be four of us and a baby. The woman on the phone told us that, no you wouldn’t need a booking unless you’re a party of 5 or more adults. We arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by the same woman who took my call, when asked if we had made a booking, I responded that we didn’t but I did call ahead to check if it was fine for four and a baby. I could already tell she was annoyed we didn’t book, but what was the point in calling in the first place if we told we didn’t need to? I let it slide and we were seated in a back corner and had trouble fitting the baby seat in without blocking an exit point for emergencies. The majority of the food was good, a few dishes let the place down though. The Noodles were way over salted/seasoned; the chicken curry was made “Maryland” chicken bits so it was almost inedible unless you love cartilage. However, it was the steak that killed it for me, it was cooked well, but the meat itself was tough and full of gristle making it poor quality. Deserts were ‘meh’. The cheesecake looked like it had been out for hours and stated to form a hard layer around its outside. The chocolate fountain was a nice touch, but unless you covered your dessert in it, the desert options were a pretty generic Sarah-lee style frozen cake in a box. $5 for a glass of Soda is beyond silly when it is a simple post-mix. $11 for a slim jug was a better deal than buying it by the glass; I’m hoping the glass that came with the jug wasn’t the $5 glass either. After the meal, we went to pay and I was again chastised for not making a booking, hence 3 stars. I honestly did try to do the right thing and I still got chewed out about it. Not sure if we will be back, if i wanted to be belittled by someone, I'd stay home.

The price does not represent the quality of the food, I didn't feel like we got good value for money. I feel like a cap child be put on the amount of food a person can take in one hit. For example, the oyster Kilpatrick, only one tray comes out at a time and some diners were filling their plates with them, leaving others to wait until the next tray was brought out. This could be avoidedif diners were allowed 3 - 4 servings per plate. There is limited room if you are a parent with a pram, but restraunt layout is functional. Over all we had a nice night out, but will not be returning.
