A nice deck to relax on with a cold beer in your hand. I went for 49% off beer for happy hour on a Sunday and picked up a Gold XXXX pint for $4.50. I felt as if that was a good price for what I was given. Tunes bumping and a nice view make this an enjoyable location to visit while you are in Darwin

Ahh The Deck Bar .. what can i say.. Laksa lovers this is a must visit destination. Has been about 3 years since ive been here and they are as still as yummo as i remember. Cannot wait to come back for another. Lets not forget sitting outside enjoying the breeze with a Great Northern to wash it down.

Great setting with a good range of drinks. Fairly limited menu of typical pub food, and although they are tasty the burgers are on the small side. Plenty of fans for the outdoor seating area. Can be queues during busy times due to limited number of serving staff. Perfect place for a catch up in off-peak times during the day. Get in early for lunch.

A nice cozy environment with live bands, really good music, quite busy for the evening service. For that I ll rate the ambience 5 stars. I m rating 3/4 stars mainly for the food . The caesar salad dressing was so thick that it was hard to swallow and cant even finish half. Pizza ,laksa and garlic bread was good. Good portion and not bad pricing. Will definitely not order the salad again , good drinks option, music a bit loud hard to have a chat. Overall ok place to hang out

Great food! The hot wings are great on a Wednesday. There’s a Pommie bloke there called Tom who always makes the best cocktails, and really takes care of the customers. He makes you feel like you’re the only people in there with the quality service. Haven’t seen him around for a while though.

Back again last weekend for the Chicken Laksa, which would have to be one of the best in town! Congratulations to the Chef. The outside deck had a nice cool breeze, staff were great and provided a prompt and friendly service. A perfect place to spend an hour or two on a balmy afternoon.

Still serving drinks at midnight on a Friday, but pretty dead. The DJ was packing up his gear as we drank our jug of cider so maybe it was more entertaining earlier. Ignored by bar staff standing in front of us for five minutes, but eventually served by someone else. I liked the ambiance outside and the lights in the trees. There are outdoor smoking and nonsmoking sections for those in need of a cigarette.

The best thing about The Deck bar is their consistency. Friendly staff, TERRIFIC food, and great entertainment. The don't do the same thing over and over again, they take a genuine interest in entertaining their customers by engaging in a wide range of activities. We hosted a 21st birthday in Octover 2013 and the team at The Deck Bar literally could not have done more to make the event a success. Right from the get go the booking was straight forward, the decorations were fantastic and the whole team looked after the party throughout the night. I would highly recommend the Deck Bar for any party or function, terrific place to bring clients for lunch and great venue to enjoy an evening out with friends.

Had a great lunch here - Vietnamese style salad with chicken. Very crunchy and satisfying. The beer selection is pretty good too. They have the local One Mile 4:21 on tap which is super tasty.

The non working staff were happily drinking their own drinks and chatting away which was fine, I'm sure they deserved it. Problem was that we waited to get drink service whilst the working staff served their mates and our finished meals and glasses sat on our table for way too long. Nice place though.
