Food for Lunch was so delicious. Had to have an extra large milkshake👌 So much to look at! Reading and reminiscing the memorabilia while dining was just the best! Reliving the 50's, thinking of Happy Days, Grease, Elvis, old servos! Sharing our experiences with others, we all left with smiles & happy thoughts, memories to linger on. Staff were super helpful & a delight to serve us.

This diner is decorated in the best way possible, best we have seen for the theme! We had some burgers here which were delicious and huge, but we felt like it didn’t have the American 50s diner vibe we were wanting, it felt more like pub food, though it was still very yummy and it’s worth it for the cool atmosphere. The prices were reasonable also. Great milkshakes!! Stopped in for a big breakfast on the way home. It was very busy and they are looking for staff so the service was slow but well worth the wait! Good coffee, great food and lots of '50s memorabilia to browse and fill in the time.

If your in a real hurry for food find a MacDonalds. Food was very nice and priced reasonably and plenty to look at whilst waiting. Staff Super friendly and clean restrooms. Take the time to savour this 'gem' :)

Cool fifties diner, was super quiet when we were there on a Friday night with only one other table. Service was friendly and quick. Food was basic, limited healthy options. It’s okay but I wouldn’t return. Burgers were nice and big. Kids liked them.

Appreciate this covid savvy diner however for the price, I found the food left wanting. We went for breakfast pancakes but were alluded by nachos. So anchor to share, which we had a while ago, used to come in a basket and be big and delicious. Our serve came in a soup bowl, were far from generous - and we had to order a bowl of wedges to starve the hunger . No no, not huge eaters.... fairly tasteless and little cheese - a bit of a disappointment. Having said that, its a delightful space. Perhaps we simply made a bad menu choice that day.

Wow like entering a time warp! Friendly staff and a real labour of love in creating this colourful diner. An incredible collection of automobile memorabilia. Fully restored petrol and oil pumps, colourful signs, oil cans and bottles, a jukebox and a diner straight out of Happy Days. It has been many years since I craved a malted milk shake but I certainly enjoyed one today.

Not quite rocking due to slightly lackluster staff attitude, but well worth the visit. Excellent setting, huge array of memorabilia (with some purchasable momentous), good food & drinks menu. We had burgers, which were more Aussie style than American (my "Super" came with bacon, egg & beetroot, nice big well cooked beef pattie and fresh bun and big fries), shakes for the younger ones and beers (good to see Boags and imports on the list) for us oldies. Staff were polite but lacking enthusiasm (and smiles). We dressed up 50's style to enjoy my wife's birthday, but after taking a few photos (being careful not to intrude on other diners privacy), we were told "Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's enough". Not very "Happy Days"!! If the staff took a happy pill and gave the food a splash more pizzaz, "Cruzin'" would be Rockin' AND Rollin' too!! We'll be back...

This is a must visit 1950s Retro Diner decked out in chrome and red along with memorabilia fitting for the Era. There is so much to see in the diner and gift store. A very popular venue for bike and car clubs.

The ambience is very 50s and a huge amount of effort has gone into the decor. Really friendly service from the staff. There is a kids menu and the kids really enjoyed the experience - chips are served in a 50s car! Food is not the main attraction here. In keeping with the theme the food is chips, burgers, hot dogs and fried chicken orientated. Not a place for healthy options.

Great place for a good lunch , after a longish ride on the motorcycle I decided to stop at the 50,s Dinner in Deloraine for lunch . What a place , chocked full of 50,s memorabilia and a fantastic atmosphere , good service and a really unique way of serving your food on car hubcaps WOW . Prices were what you would expect so no surprises there but it was rather busy and I had to take a seat outside , no problem as it was good weather but do yourself a favour and book ahead to get a table inside or even at all as it is obviously very popular . Only problem was is that it is not easy to find , just off the main drag down a side street with only a a small road side sign pointing the way , very easy to miss . But given this is the only draw back I will be definitely making a return visit

A great place to visit and have a feed. First time I took my mother-in-law (no, I didn't leave her there) who was visiting from QLD. We all had a great time and felt very full after a great meal. The items on display and the music make this place a great place to visit. I love the custom furniture made from car parts. Just great. On the next visit I took my Son and Grandson (also visiting from QLD) and again, we all had a great time. Well done to the staff.

While visiting Tasmania we were taken out to lunch with friends at the "Cruzin in the 50's Diner" in Deloraine. The proprietors have done a magnificent job setting up this diner with authentic decorations throughout the entire restaurant. There are numerous items to look at, some are available to purchase, others are designed to take you on a trip down memory lane. The food is also relevant to the era, the steak burgers / hamburgers and milkshakes are to die for, and come highly recommended. There is also a wood heater in the middle of the room, well fenced from little fingers, and it was a delight to sit around it on a cold day. The staff also dress in authentic 50's gear. A stop here has to be a must for any visitor to Tasmania.

This may be the best 1950s themed cafe/restaurant in the whole of Australia. The decor is exactly like the set of 'Happy Days'. You expect to see 'The Fonz' at the counter. The memorabilia has a strong motoring theme, with oil cans, old car signage, petrol pumps. It also has 50s radios, movie posters, betty boop etc etc. You will not be bored. We found it purely by accident as it is tucked away in the 'industrial' (lol) section of Deloraine off of the main road in from Launceston. It appears to be attached to the local car repairers shop. Anyway it turned out to be a great place with a museum/gift shop under the same roof so there is lots to see. If you love 50's memorabilia this is a 'must see'. 50s music is blasting out of the speakers and when you go to the funky toilets it is blasting in there also. The food is very authentic USA 1950's. Burgers, fries, steaks, tall milkshakes etc. The food is all well prepared and enjoyable. Don't miss this place if you love 50s nostalgia.
