Ahh, there nothing quite like Mediterranean food and what a great restaurant to experience it at. The place was quite airy and welcoming inside. The staff very friendly and made you feel very welcomed. I started off with Saganaki fir an entree followed up with Gyro Lamb & Chicken with pita bread, salad, tzatziki and chips, Mythos beer and for dessert a Galaktoboureko and all for around $50. Quite reasonable for very good quality food. They have some great mixed grill for 2 options so be sure to check them out. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place! Traditional Greek food made with love :-) My family is Turkish and they said this was the best dolma they have had since moving to Australia! Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our night. The family is also lovely and we enjoyed talking to them. Great restaurant.

Fantastic food and fantastic service. We visited in January and loved it. Came back in December and it was just as good. We ordered a number of smaller dishes to share and the flavour is amazing. It's a must if you are visiting Hobart.

We were tempted in by the smells from the street. Safe to say, everything that came out was delicious. The Mediterranean Calamari is the tastiest calamari I’ve had in a long time and highlight of the night. Fava beans and souvlaki chicken topped off the traditional Greek/Cretan meal and the Greek wines available were terrific!

Delicious traditional Greek and Cretan food in a heart-warming setting with paintings. Menu is huge, the food is drastically different from typical Greek network restaurants, having much richer, fuller taste. Souvlaki plate and veggie mousaka was our faves.

I was sold as soon as I looked at the menu - same things like you would find in Greece. This place offers some of the most authentic Greek / Cretan dishes (beyond the typical souvlaki) and you have to try something new! Recommend the ouzo because it just goes well with Greek food and ask for how best to drink it (I was told in Greece that you should always only have it with food and you can add water to mix it to your desired strength)! We ravished through every dish (cleaned the plates) and still got the desserts. Absolutely amazing galaktoboureko (like a strudel) and fig glyko koutalio (sweet fruit preserve with Greek yoghurt). Loved everything!! Thanks Yanna and Niko 💙

Great place, very good Greek food. I missed greek food and this felt like home. We had the Greek salad and the Dakos salad -both very tasty made with fresh vegetables. The Dakos (Cretan bread), as well as everyrhing else on the menu, is made in-house by the Greek lady, Yanna! We tried the dips, the beetroot, the Fava, the Gigantes - they were all excellent. The baked salmon was also done to perfection. We highly recommend this restaurant for dinner! The stuff -the Greek family that owns the restaurant, Yanna, Nicos and their daughter - is super nice and offers excellent service. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is beautiful and reminds you of a seaside tavern in Greece. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

It was absolutely Fantastic and would definitely be going back soon to try another dish. Fantastic restaurant. We made a booking for 18 people and they catered for our needs perfectly. Food was awesome, service was outstandingly friendly and prompt. Family run and really authentic atmosphere. They even named a drink after our guest of honour. Order the "Simon" cocktail, if you get a chance. Will definitely be returning.
