Had take away last weekend and the food is just so home cooked. Their satay is probably one of the best here in Hobart. Highlights (so far - must try) Asam Laska SATAY!!! Hainanese Chicken Rice- so good like being in Singapore..... Curry chicken Nasi Lemak Eager to go back and try other stuff on their menu....

Authentic Malaysian food! Nasi lemak and assam laksa have finely tuned balance of flavours and each component part of the meal is delicious. One of the best hawker style Malaysian restaurants on the east coast where I’ve eaten.

This restaurant is a great place to stop off for lunch, dinner or takeaway and has BYO! There was a selection of curries (with two vegetarian options) and other dishes to have with rice, salad and a delicious peanut sauce. The guy who runs it is friendly and helpful! Someone who knows the owner, can you please help him register a Google business account and get the business verified? This will help him get noticed on Google Maps!

Your belly won´t be disappointed! 8-D Only local people know this place, but it deserves much more attention. The food is excellent, authentic, you can customize a little your order, the owner is a very lovely person. Such a lovely place to eat something special. Vanny, you are amazing! The walnut sauce is unique. We ate so much and paid very little for the quantity and the quality of the food. They also have a bigger room inside, hidden from the street, so if you are a group of 10 or more persons, don´t hesitate and just enter, they have place for everyone.

Vanny’s Cafe & Takeaway offers the best Cambodian food you could ask for. It’s also a BYO restaurant, offering affordable ready to go hot food with a good range of meat and vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. The service is great too.

Great Malaysian food at a great price. I really like Fried Kuay Teo and Prawn Wonton Soup Noodles. Wonton soup was so tasty. Drinks worth trying, Lemon tea and Milk Tea+Coffee (Cham) are my favoriates. Also, their service was very quick, and staff was always very polite and friendly which makes the ordering process really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place.
